It’s official y’all – both Super Junior’s Heechul (김희철) and Momo (모모) from TWICE are currently in a relationship!

Yesterday (Wednesday, 1st January), Korean news portal “Market News” claimed that the “Knowing Brothers” star is dating the Japanese K-pop idol. Interestingly, the same media outlet actually came out with a similar news back in August.

According to the exclusive report, the duo has been coping well with their budding romance despite their busy schedules, with both of them being very supportive of each other’s respective careers in the Hallyu scene. They further claimed that their relationship has grown from senior-junior to a more romantic relationship after appearing together in a variety show back in 2017.

Just hours after the news came out, both of the couple’s home agencies (who previously denied their romance) have came out with a statement to confirm the news on 2nd January (Wednesday). Heechul’s home label, Label SJ, wrote, “Hello, this is Label SJ. We have confirmed with Heechul and Momo that they have recently started dating from being a close sunbae (senior) and hoobae (junior). Thank you.”

Additionally, JYP Entertainment, the entertainment agency managing Momo and her group TWICE, released a statement citing the same exact explanation that both of them have been close as a senior and junior colleagues in the industry before pursuing the next step.

For those who are curious, both Heechul and Momo share an age gap of 13 years; the former is 37 while the latter is turning 24 this year.

Not only that, Momo has also became the 2nd member from the MAMA-award-winning girl band to officially confirm her relationship, following leader Jihyo who was confirmed to be dating ex-Wanna One member Kang Daniel in August 2019.

Just before 2020, Godfrey Gao’s girlfriend Bella Su broke her silence on her Instagram account for the first time.

The 23-year-old influencer said that the late Taiwan-born Canadian model-actor was “heaven’s most wonderful gift to me“. Although he’s no longer physically here, they would “never be apart”.

Bella uploaded 3 photos (2 of which were of them). One snapshot was taken at a beach, against the beautiful sunset with Godfrey’s face resting on his beau’s head. Another showed the duo in winter clothing, striking a pose while skiing.

As you may know, the Asian hunk collapse last November when he was filming a Chinese sports variety series titled “Chase Me”. Hours later, Godfrey passed away. He was only 35 years young. Following massive backlash, the network made the call to cancel “Chase Me”. His funeral was held 2 weeks ago in Taipei, which you can watch it here.

Here is Bella’s tribute to Godfrey on 31st December (Tuesday): “You are heaven’s most wonderful gift to me, thank you for everything you taught me. I’ve experienced fullness in my life and from now I’ll carry your light and your eternal love and we shall never part.”

“Your love made my life whole. Through our love we will never be apart,” she continued in English before expressing her gratitude to those who have shown nothing but love and support during this difficult period. “I will be strong for us and I hope I can be given time and space for my life to be on track once more,” she added.

Godfrey had reportedly intended to propose to Bella at a dinner in front of both of their parents. Sadly, he passed away the day before on 27th November. Bella’s Instagram was private for awhile shortly after his death but is now public again.

In her Instagram account bio, she wrote, “Whatever we are, you and I will always collide.”

According to co-MC Nabil Ahmad, fans have been demanding to see the “Laila Isabella” actor on the show for quite some time. “I kept on proposing for you to come to our show, even the internet crashed knowing that other people came instead of you,” the famed comedian jokingly told Datuk Hans. For those in the dark, both the “Lemak Kampung Santan” cast mates were rumoured to be dating in the past.

During the session, the “Jiwa & Lara” revealed that she has received a lot of calls from her colleagues when she announced the big news, including from the 48-year-old himself. “Among the things that I remembered was when Datuk Hans said that he knows that it’s a bit sad since the show means a lot to me. But once I have a clear picture on what I can achieve in the future, I will look back and say ‘I can do more things even without the show’,” said Neelofa.

When asked to share some cute anecdotes about Neelofa in conjunction with her final episode on “MeleTOP”, Datuk Hans said, “For me, Neelofa has done so much wonderful things in your life. I’ve always said that hosting “MeleTOP” could be seen as a good platform for her to expand her career to something bigger. Because she will usually plan accordingly, and will look at what will happen next.”

“She often told me ‘I want to do this so that I can help other people’. In this case, she will prioritise others first in managing her business. Not only that, Datuk Hans also recalled back to the time during Neelofa’s earlier stint in acting. According to the “Cuci” film director, the former “Dewi Remaja” winner claimed that she could ride the motorcycle when in fact she couldn’t. “She was very determined in finishing the scene despite that she didn’t know how to handle the vehicle,” Datuk Hans told Neelofa and Nabil. That was a testament to Lofa’s determination.

He then concluded by saying, “Not everyone knows this but I’ve been a good friend with Neelofa for over 9 years, she doesn’t see things halfway. She travels around the world to represent Malaysia. She’s a true icon and inspiration to everyone out there.”

Yikes! Mollie Fitzgerald has been charged with second-degree murder for allegedly fatally stabbing her mother on 20th December 2019.

Her 68-year-old mum, Patricia ‘Tee’ Fitzgerald, was found dead in her Olathe, Kansas home. The Kansas City Star reported that she’s being held on a $500,000 bond.

For those who don’t know, Mollie had a minor role in the 2011 Marvel film, “Captain America: The First Avenger”, where she portrayed Stark Girl. She also served as an assistant to director Joe Johnston. The superhero flick went on to make more than $370 million at the worldwide box office.

Besides being an actress, Mollie’s resume also includes a few filmmaking credits (director and producer) for low budget shorts – 2014’s “The Lawful Truth” and 2017’s “The Creeps”. According to Entertainment Weekly, she was also in the process of making the documentary “Fireball”.

So what caused the ugly episode? Authorities apparently have not found a motive behind the murder yet. When contacted, Patricia’s brother Gary Hunziker, said, “We were shocked… It doesn’t matter the circumstances — the loss of a sister is what it’s all about.”

It is also understood that Mollie suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. She is due in court this week.

Choi Jong Bum (최종범) has reportedly hired a new lawyer on 30th December.

It is believed that Goo Hara’s ex-boyfriend will be needing his new lawyer to help him with his appeal trial with the Seoul Central District Court.

The hairstylist’s request for a court-appointed lawyer was previously rejected. That’s why he is now seeking to turn his guilty conviction around with an appeal. If you remember, he was slapped with a 1-year-and-6-month after he was found guilty of “property damage, physical assault, threatening, and unnecessary force”.

However, Choi Jong Bum wasn’t guilty of sexual assault in the form of illegal footage filming. The South Korean will not face jail time, provided that he doesn’t violate his 3-year probation period.

“The reality is Choi Jong Bum is appealing his case because the person he was convicted of assaulting can no longer speak on her own behalf because she’s dead. He is literally trying to use Hara’s death as a legal mechanism,” a user named diadems commented.

Another added, “Good, I hope they allow him to do so. That way when he takes it back to court, he can lose and get the harsher sentence that he deserved to receive in the first place.”

Interestingly, Mira is also seen currently in the Melaka-born heartthrob’s following list on Instagram. “I’m okay, there’s nothing much. I’m actually in the middle of cleaning process (on social media). There are a lot of things to clear out since we’re already in 2020,” Remy told BH Online.

He was also asked on why he unfollowed his “Pujaan Hati Kanda” co-star. Refusing to give further comments, Remy responded by saying that he’s “not really sure” since he has his own team in managing his social media accounts.

V.I.Ps rejoice! K-pop legends BIGBANG (빅뱅) is set to make their grand comeback on one of the biggest music festivals in the world, Coachella.

The good news was recently announced via home label YG Entertainment’s Twitter today (3rd January, Friday). The “Fantastic Baby” jam makers are scheduled to perform for 2 days on 10th and 17th April.

The interesting part is, this will be their first ever group activity since their long-term hiatus back in 2017 where they had to make room for the members’ military enlistment. All 4 members of the band – T.O.P, G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung – are expected to delight their fans with live renditions of their biggest hits.

Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to widen its net of inclusivity as we enter the next phase. Following “Black Panther” and “Captain Marvel” that put female and black characters at the forefront, the future of MCU will shine the spotlight on LGBTQ characters.

Director Anthony Russo previously played an unnamed gay role in “Avengers: Endgame”. However, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige recently confirmed that the franchise is set to feature MCU’s first transgender superhero.

During a Q&A session at the recent New York Film Academy, Feige was asked if audiences will get to see a transgender character in the Marvel universe down the road. The Marvel boss replied that it will happen rather sooner than later. “Yes, absolutely, yes, very soon, in a movie that we’re shooting right now,” he said.

“The Eternals” in the comics does not feature a gay character, but you never know since its source material is not very well-known. There are speculations that “Thor: Love and Thunder” might feature a transgender woman. Valkyrie’s love interest anyone?

The Guardian pointed out that the “Thor” universe has a character that fits the bill. The publication mentions Sera, “who descends from a group of all-male angels but who has transitioned to a female identity“.

It has been revealed that “The Eternals” will feature MCU’s first gay superhero – Phastos, played by Brian Tyree Henry.

As Kim Jae Joong has not been active (in the Korean music industry) for a long time, we predict that music industry insiders and fans will be keeping their eye on him following the news of his January comeback,” the agency said.

Honestly its a great loss to us Malaysian when Dr Maszlee step down. Its a big shame to what had happened. He brought a huge changes in education yet bcz of his intelligence, he was asked to step down. I am sad, really am. We can see his effort.

The 31-year-old songstress wasn’t alone though. TMZ reported that 2 other British stars were also at the British territory of Anguilla – pop star Harry Styles and apparently talk-show host James Corden as well.

Adele donned a polka dot cocktail dress with a jaunty little kerchief around her neck. A side-by-side comparison showed the same fabric in the frame of a candid snapshot of Harry. Although some were surprised by their hanging out together, the spotlight was focus on Adele’s figure.

The “Hello” hitmaker has always been scrutinised for her body. While she was praised for slimming down in recent months (with her divorce from husband Simon Konecki being suggested as the catalyst of the weight loss), fans now think that she’s too thin.

Many netizens online seem to think that Adele may have loss too much weight. “She just looks way sick and unhealthy,” someone on Twitter commented. On the other hand, another wrote, “Twitter 2011-2016: ‘Adele needs to lose some weight. She’s too big and it’s unhealthy and I’m worried about her.’ Twitter 2020: ‘Adele needs to eat more. She’s too skinny and lost too much weight and it’s unhealthy and I’m worried about her.’”

Word on the street has it that Adele has been working with nutritionist Joe Wicks and celebrity Personal Trainer Dalton Wong on a strict regime of healthy eating, reformer pilates, using weights in the gym, and cutting down on sugar.

Following the recent dating news with Super Junior member Kim Heechul (김희철) last week, TWICE’s Momo (모모) surprised her fans with a hand-written letter this morning (Monday, 6th January).

According to the 24-year-old singer-dancer, she told ONCEs (TWICE fandom name) that they’ve played a very important role in her life and she felt happy interacting with them through live streaming. She further added that she is “sincerely sorry” for the sudden news about her relationship with the “Knowing Bros” star at the start of the year.

You may know Roddy Alves (real name Rodrigo Alves) from “Celebrity Big Brother”, but many others know her previously as the “Human Ken Doll”.

The reality TV star, who has reportedly spent £500,000 (RM2.69 million) on over 76 cosmetic surgery procedures, has officially come out as a transgender woman.

“It feels amazing to finally tell the world I’m a girl. I’m known as Ken but inside I’ve always felt like Barbie,” Alves told Sunday Mirror. The 36-year-old have been receiving hormonal injections and now wears a D-cup bra. As she goes through her transition, Alves will undergo more surgeries including gender realignment surgery.

She continued, “I finally feel like the real me. Glamorous, beautiful and feminine. For years I tried to live my life as a man. I had a fake six pack put in, I had fake muscles in my arms but I was lying to myself. I’m a woman and have always had a feminine brain. Now my body matches my mind.”

The queer celebrity added, “I will have a penile inversion and my testicles will be removed. That will be the final step. Before that I’m having silicone breast implants. I’ll be able to wear dresses that show my cleavage and look sexy. I’m very excited.”

“After that, I’m having face feminisation surgery. It will be an incision at the top of my scalp, and through that the doctor will reshape my forehead, give me an eye lift, lip lift and middle face lift. I’m having my Adam’s apple removed, my jawline shaved and my chin modified,” she elaborated.

Alves admitted it took some time before she came to terms of her identity as a transgender. “Behind closed doors, I’ve been living as a woman for the last three months. I love it and everything that comes with it – going to nice hair salons and getting my nails, eyebrows and eyelashes done… But I have been trolled and called a freak and a weirdo, so of course I am nervous about how people will react,” she said.

Thankfully, there is more awareness these days and Alves hopes that people can accept her as she is instead of judging or ridiculing her.

The couple’s friendly interactions have received widespread reactions among the local internet community. Most of them have been flooding Bella’s comments section on Instagram with mixed remarks. Ming Dao (明道) is currently in shock and in mourning, the Taiwanese star’s manager revealed.

Over the weekend, it was reported that the singer-actor’s brother – Lin Ming-hung (林明弘) – had allegedly murder his own wife and son before ultimately committing suicide.

Police had found that Lin Ming-hung was NT$2 million (approx. RM 273,000) in debt. This is suspected to be the main cause for the tragic incident. According to Taiwanese news outlet Apple Daily, the 42-year-old man was discovered hanging from a tree. His 40-year-old wife and 12-year-old son had strangle marks on their necks when they were found dead.

Reports reveal that police discovered text messages on Lin Ming-hung’s phone, telling a friend of his situation and that he had “lost the will to live”. Why didn’t he reached out to his famous sibling? For those that don’t know, Ming Dao (real name Lin Chao-chang) had a falling out with his brother a few years back.

It is believed that Lin Ming-hung’s gambling addictions caused the friction. He had previously used Ming Dao’s driver’s license and personal registration information as mortgage to borrow money.

Things got worst when loan sharks became involved. There were instances when Lin Ming-hung would scam people into loaning him cash. It got to a point where creditors would show up at Ming Dao’s promotional events to seek compensation.

It’s truly sad that Lin Ming-hung’s wife and son had to loose their lives for his sins. Our hearts go out to Ming Dao and his loved ones.
