Social media has become so integral in our lives that it’s almost impossible to go a day without it. Just ask Yuna.

The Malaysian songstress shared that she was asked her preference between Instagram and Twitter during an interview that took place yesterday (Tuesday, 5th November).

This may or may not surprise you but the 32-year-old singer went with Twitter. “Words over images,” she explained, adding that the new Instagram algorithm format is now rather confusing. She’s not alone in this.

“Twitter is more interactive.. You ask someone a question or give them a suggestion, they will see it immediately,” @WonderIrra concurred. The same sentiments were echoed by @WonderIrra, who wrote, “Same. I kinda moved from IG to Twitter. Turns out I rather read.”

Even though Twitter has been around longer, Instagram has surpassed in terms of monthly active users. Writer Gary Vaynerchuk explains, “When you’re spending time on Instagram, you’re not paying attention to anything else. 100% engaged and looking at your Instagram screen, each photo of users you follow on Instagram passes one by one. IG is all about that attention. It knows how to keep it. That’s where it is really winning.”

Instagram knows how to keep users glued to the app. That’s why there are no clickable links in the captions. However, many IG users these days are accustomed to using filters to make their lives seem perfect, which in turn can be quite toxic.

Twitter focuses more on engagement (retweets, comments) rather than mere “likes”. Perhaps this method of communication is more appealing to Yuna when interacting with her fans.

The headline from Daily Mail reads: “McDonald’s FIRES its British CEO Steve Easterbrook from his $16M-a-year job after a ‘consensual’ affair with an employee that ‘violated company policy.”

“Whoa whoa whoa why am I in this headline photo,” the model and TV personality joked on Twitter. Some people may have misinterpreted the image and assumed Teigen was the aforementioned staff. “This makes it look like Ronald McDonald is his husband and Chrissy is the mistress,” someone commented.

The post has since garnered 1.3k comments on Twitter and 5.2k comments on Instagram. Many of her followers hilariously teased her by asking, “What did you do?”, while a few congratulated on the “new relationship” that no one knew about.

According to Bloomberg, the company’s board voted to terminate Easterbrook, 52, after an investigation was carried out. McDonald’s has a policy that doesn’t allow the CEO to have a romantic relationship with anyone in the firm.

“This was a mistake,” Easterbrook admitted in a statement. “Given the values of the company, I agree with the board that it is time for me to move on.” As a result, the president of McDonald’s USA – Chris Kempczinski – was promoted to CEO with immediate effect.

We should never underestimate the strength of star power. Jisoo (김제니) and Jennie (김지수) from BLACKPINK successfully demonstrated this when they introduced South Korea (and the world) to the Malaysian snack, Super Ring.

The pair, from arguably the biggest K-pop act at the moment, stopped by a local 7-11 store earlier this year when they held their concert here. The duo looked through the variety of our local snack that one could expect in any of our usual 7-11. But then they burst in utter ecstasy when they discovered the Oriental snack, Super Ring.

But this is not the first time the idols have come in contact with the snack. The girls stated they have tried the snack once before in Singapore and fell instantly in love with the product. Congratulations to James Wan, 42, who recently got married. The lucky person that managed to steal the heart of the prolific the Malaysian-born Australian director, is none other than actress Ingrid Bisu, who worked with the director in “The Conjuring” spinoff, “The Nun”.

1. She Co-Wrote The New Horror Movie “Malignant”

“Malignant” is the next movie to be directed by “The Conjuring” director, with many horror fans anticipating it’s release. But do you know that the movie will also be a first for the actress, who put pen to paper for a feature film for the first time.

The star’s previous venture into writing involved a web mini-series called “Super Yolo Show” and a talk show called “Cafeaua De Dimineata”, both of which targeted her native country of Romania. So it would be interesting to see what she can do for a wider audience and a different medium.

2. Starred In One Of Romania’s First Sit-Com 

Bisu’s first major break came in 2003, when she, at the age of 16, did a photoshoot with a teenage magazine called “Cool Girl”. She then landed commercial role with Orange S.A. Mobile, that aired in Israel and Romania. All of these resulted in her getting the part of Flori, in Romania’s first sitcom “Casatorie de proba” (“Probation Marriage”) in 2004.

3. Can Speak 5 languages

Beside being born to a Romanian and German parents, she attended the prestigious German college “Goethe”. This is where she learn the basic of German language in addition to English, French and Latin. During college, she started acting and won her first audition for an international commercial, with over 300 girls in competing. Ingrid Bisu later enrol in an acting university called Hyperion.

4. Toni Erdman

Before “The Nun”, the Romanian’s biggest commercial success was from the film “Toni Erdmann” where she played the character, Anca. The film premiered in 2016 at the Cannes Film Festival and went on to be nominated for the Festival Palme d’Or Award. The film also got nominated for the best foreign film category for both Golden Globe Award and Academy Awards.

Sultan Muhammad V is firing shots back at Rihana Oksana after she lifted the veil of her son’s face to the world.

According to Mail Online (Daily Mail), the former Agong has used the words “cruel”, “evil” and “vindictive” to describe the Russian beauty. He also insisted that those photos do not prove anything.

The publication claims that the former Agong has examined the exclusive images of Ismail Leon, whom he has never met. Although his ex-wife insists that the newborn child belongs to him and has royal blood, the Kelantan Palace said that those pictures does not prove he’s the biological father and the child could be “the son of any Asian man”.

In addition to Sultan Faris choosing not to acknowledge the tiny tot, Mail Online also reported that he regrets marrying the former beauty queen, saying that it was the “biggest mistake” of his life.

Rihana recently shared that the baby was conceived during their Australia holiday after their Islamic wedding in June 2018, and that the former Agong cried in tears of joy when he found out about her pregnancy. These claims were rubbished by the King’s rep.

A royal insider remarked that Rihana has “no dignity” after old footage from a reality show of her having sex in a swimming pool made its way on the internet. The royal family feels that it’s wrong for Rihana to use an innocent child as a weapon in her divorce settlement.

The reclusive Sultan is now in a new relationship and intends to “have an heir and children with the woman he loves”. In moving forward, Sultan Faris “wants to focus on working hard and helping people in his state to continue his father’s legacy and creating his own happy family”.

The palace source added:

“He said he already moved on with his life and she should stop making fool out of herself and move on as well and find herself new husband. He doesn’t understand why she is pushing herself somewhere where she is clearly not wanted and has deep regrets ever meeting her. He said marrying her was the biggest mistake he ever made as she created enough problems in his professional and personal life by not respecting his wishes for privacy.”

“He said she’s trying to make the best out of the situation using his royal status and using his last name to gain a celebrity status which she obviously desired since she entered the tacky reality show and Miss Moscow 2015.”

Rihana first met the Sultan Muhammad V in Europe in 2017. Following their secret Islamic ceremony in Kelantan in June, their grand Moscow wedding took place in November 2018. The public spectacle is said to be the trigger of the breakup.

The former flames went separate ways in December 2018 and the former Agong abdicated the throne the next month. Little Leon was born on 21st May 2019. The following month, Sultan Faris divorced Rihana with the Triple Talaq procedure.

Things are certainly taking form for the new “The Batman” remake. But there are still some roles that have yet to be casted for the Matt Reeves flick. This lead to Warner Bros. negotiating with actor Colin Farrell, 43, and Andy Serkis, 55.

The roles in question are the villain The Penguin and Batman’s trusty butler Alfred Pennyworth, with Farrell in negotiation for the former. If the Irish-born actor does accept the role, this will make him the third villain appearing in the movie alongside, Paul Dano as the Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.

The role will also mark the actor’s return to comic book film, with his last venture being the villain Bullseye in Marvel 2003’s “Daredevil”. Unfortunately, the film was heavily slammed by fans and critics alike for it’s cringe dialogues and questionable casting. Hopefully, this new role might redeem the “In Bruges” star among comic books readers – if he accepts.

Despite being one of Batman’s oldest villains, the Penguin has not appeared much in the big screen. The most notable of his portrayal was in 1992 Tim Burton’s “Batman Return”, where he was played by Danny DeVito.

On the other hand, Serkis, who is negotiating for the role of Alfred Pennyworth, also has experience in the genre, with the English actor previously played Klaw in Marvel’s “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Age Of Ultron”. This also presents an opportunity for the “Lord Of The Ring” actor to reunite with director Reeves, who he worked together in the “Planet Of The Apes” films.

If the deal pulls through, this would allow the “Star Wars” star to follow along the footsteps of Michael Gough, Michael Caine and Jeremy Irons, who all played the character in other DC comic films.

Filming in general is a very dangerous business, because at any given moment something horrible can happen. Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden were rushed off from the set when a bomb was discovered during the filming of “The Eternals”.

The incident happened earlier this week, in Canary Islands Fuerteventura, on the set of the upcoming Marvel film. The discovery led to massive panics, with everyone at the scene being ordered to get back to a safe distant. Disposal units then arrived moments later to handle the situation.

It was reported that the explosive device was likely from World War 2, as the Nazis have used the island as a military base during that time. The entire situation was a very haunting experience for the people on set, with an insider recalling the terrifying event.

“It was obviously terrifying — the bomb could have been there for decades untouched but who knows what might have happened if it was disturbed,” the insider told The Sun. “Some of the biggest stars in the world were on set and nobody was taking any chances. Fortunately, experts dealt with it.”

The two stars on set at the time were the “Maleficent” star, Jolie, and the “Game Of Thrones” actor, Madden. The former plays the leader of the group called Thena, while the latter plays the character Ikaris. Thankfully, those present were uninjured during the initial panic.

The Marvel film about the immortal superheroes is slated to be released in November next year.

K-pop’s resident power couple, HyunA (현아) and DAWN (던) have finally made their long-awaited comeback.

This will be both the lovebirds’ first ever release under PSY’s P Nation since signing with the agency. The interesting part is, they will simultaneously promote their music together! Talk about couple goals, right?

Though their comeback only consist of only a single album – which only contains one song, it’s more than enough for followers of both the former 4minute member and PENTAGON member who have been waiting for their return to save the music industry.

HyunA’s comeback single, “Flower Shower” adds her signature pop and dance flavours with an interesting blend of the now-popular Moombahton sound to add in the kick. The lyrics were written by P-Nation boss PSY while the composition of the song was done by Yoo Gun Hyung, SPACE ONE, Anna Timgren as well as the “Gangnam Style” star himself.

Looking at the words of the song, the 27-year-old K-pop diva talks about celebrating the fact of being unapologetically herself! We already love her for being overly confident in her past hits such as “Red” (2014) as well “Roll Deep” (2015), where the lyrics talk about her being different from any other girls in the industry. It’s clear she’s loving the attention.

In this case, “Flower Shower” is not far from her previous songs she released so far. The spotlight is also on the theme of self-empowerment that is heavily featured in the song lyrics, as the chorus goes, “I will walk on the flower road now, I will shower you with flowers”. 

Koreans believe that flower road refers to happiness, and it shows that HyunA is not turning back from all the controversies and scandals surrounding her in the past. Instead, she will continue to be the HyunA that all the stans have known since the past few years.

Being released on the same day and time, DAWN (formerly known as E’Dawn)’s title track “Money” talks about his views on the “value of money, packed with piano melodies and heavy synth bass and beats coupled with an emotional rap,” as reported by Korea Herald. In other words, money is considered as a form of self-love for him. Honestly, we were quite shocked with the deep message in the song.

For those who don’t know, the lyrics of the song was self-written by DAWN (real name Kim Hyo Jong) himself with the help from PSY, while the composers of the song are Kim Phillip, Kim Pil Seong and Yoo Gun Hyung. Fans of his former group PENTAGON have known him for being a little bit different than the others. In this case, we can see that DAWN has been pushing boundaries in terms of his musical style as well as his charisma on stage ever since his debut with the CUBE Entertainment boy band.

It is interesting to know what he has to offer in this new single. The main message of the song itself is very dark, as the lyrics focus on the theme of living the luxurious life. The interesting part is, the whole point of the 3-minute and 25-second song can also be seen as how the artiste tried to showcase his struggles in finding acceptance in the mainstream K-pop industry, just like how he has been trying to earn money as portrayed in the lyrics.

However, we felt that there is still something lacking as the song goes. In this case, we felt that the 25-year-old is missing his positive vibe as seen during his PENTAGON days. Keep in mind that he has also produced songs for his former group back in the day as well, such as “Shine” and “Naughty Boy”. So, we are keeping our fingers crossed that he will produce similar songs like that in the future.

Additionally, we felt that since he is just starting his stint as a solo singer, we can see that he is still struggling on making a name on his own. Maybe because we are so used to seeing him as a boy group member. But it’s okay! Good things take time. As time flies, he will definitely fly high with his own signature music in the future.

Overall, HyunA and DAWN’s comeback single albums managed to get us madly in love with them all over again. We are delighted on how well they really suit each other in terms of musical preference as well as how they carry out their charisma and persona in their songs.

However, if you were to ask us on which one should we recommend, we will go with HyunA’s “Flower Shower”. The reason’s simple – because she’s the QUEEN.

Dressed in a baju kebaya, Soda had quite the experience when visiting Batu Caves. She posted a video compilation of her feeding some monkeys with snacks and bananas. There were a lot of freaking out and screaming in the clip. As the Asian beauty confessed, “My throat is hurting so bad, since I screamed a lot.”

A monkey was seen jumping over her head as she was feeding it on the colourful stairs. Meanwhile, another monkey tried to snatch a banana from her hand. Instead of running away from the scary animals, DJ Soda was clearly enjoying herself.

Malaysian rapper Malique’s “disapparance” from the local entertainment scene remains a hot topic among local fans even after so long. Some have even speculated that he’s no longer around.

Recently, a Facebook update posted by Mohd Zubaidi, showing 2 photos of Malique, went viral online. According to the user, he took the supposed “latest” pictures of Malique – who was also known as Mr. General – from another group on the same social media platform.

Based on the photos above, Malique can be seen talking to an unknown man. Another blurry photo shows him in the airport with his family members, including wifey Melissa Maureen. However, the latter photo was taken from afar.

The post has received widespread reactions from netizens, questioning the truth behind the photo. In this case, some of them argued that the individual pictured is indeed Malique. On the other hand, some claime that the viral photo was taken a long time ago.

1. BIGBANG’S T.O.P (최승현)

For the uninitiated, Han Seo Hee’s name first appeared after she was involved with BIGBANG rapper T.O.P’s marijuana case. She was also revealed to be the “Tazza” actor’s girlfriend back when she was still a trainee under YG Entertainment.

According to reports, both of them smoked marijuana together. As a result, she was sentenced to 4-year of probation period and had to spend 120 hours of drug treatment sessions.

2. BTS’ V (뷔)

Han Seo Hee revealed during one of her Instagram live that she has seen BTS member V at a local night club when she was 19. Her statement generated a significant amount of controversy due to the fact that V and Han Seo Hee are the same age (both were born in 1995); they are considered underage and prohibited to enter such place.

She also revealed that model Kim Ki Bum was responsible for bringing V (real name Kim Tae Hyung) to the club. “I met V because (Kim) Ki Bum brought him to the club. I don’t know V very well. But I was close to Ki Bum and he brought V with him,” Seo Hee clarified.

Initially, she didn’t have any idea that the Daegu-born idol was there in the first place. “I didn’t ask him to come. I had a table reserved and V came. I’m only telling the truth. 3. gugudan’s Kim Na Young (김나영) and Hana (하나)

Han Seo Hee and also members of K-pop girl group gugudan – Kim Na Young and Hana – came under fire for an alleged hang out session together back in May 2019.

For those who don’t know, Han Seo Hee was also a former trainee of Jellyfish Entertainment – home label to gugudan and also VIXX – and was also slated to debut with other members of the girl group. However, she left the company just before gugudan debuted back in 2016.

Even though the 2 female idols’ faces were covered with stickers, it was obvious enough for K-pop fans (especially gugudan fans Danjjaks) to point that out. As a response, netizens expressed their disappointment towards the girls for their association with Seo Hee, knowing that it will put their career at risk.

4. iKON’s B.I (비아이)

The case between Han Seo Hee and also iKON’s former leader B.I (real name Kim Han Bin) has been the talk of the town, even until the today.

We believe everyone already knows about the “Love Scenario” hit maker being involved in a drug scandal earlier this year, which resulted in him parting ways with the award-winning group. In this case, B.I was caught red-handed purchasing illegal drugs – namely marijuana and also LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) back in 2016 from a former YG trainee known as “A”.

Word has it that “A” is actually Han Seo Hee. However, she quickly shut down all the allegations and in turn filed a report to Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission against YG Entertainment for covering up about B.I’s past drug case. The case is still ongoing.

5. MONSTA X’s Wonho (원호) and Shownu (셔누)

Besides B.I, the recent news of Han Seo Hee’s involvement in the ongoing scandals surrounding MONSTA X members Shownu and Wonho has caused a significant uproar among K-fans worldwide as well.

Previously, Jung Da Eun – Han Seo Hee’s girlfriend – claimed that Wonho hasn’t paid her a substantial amount of money that he owed her in the past. To top it off, Han Seo Hee continued to add fuel by bringing up the 26-year-old’s past as a juvenile school student, which resulted to his departure from the group.

As for Shownu, Seo Hee spilled that the 27-year-old singer was involved in a scandal with a married woman. In this case, she revealed in an Instagram story post a conversation she had with the husband of the supposed woman Shownu was having an affair with.

As a result, MONSTA X’s agency, Starship Entertainment came out with a statement – denying all the false allegations. In addition, Starship revealed their attempt to protect their artistes from further defamation by bringing forward the ongoing case surrounding the duo to court.

6. Kim Jae Joong (김재중)

Han Seo Hee revealed in the past that she was a Cassiopeia (TVXQ stan), and her bias was Hero Jae Joong. She once took to Instagram, claiming that she managed to meet the boy band in person back in 2005. “Found an old photo while going through my albums. The yellow padding is me. I was a bbaeknyeo (bad woman),” she wrote on the caption.

Not only that, she also reportedly has spammed the “Manhole” actor’s social media post with tons of messages, claiming that she is a die-hard fan of him. In addition, she posted on her Instagram story saying that Jae Joong is “stalking” her online, bragging about how the Korean heartthrob often sees her updates on Instagram.

It did not stop there, though. She continued to spam her Instagram stories by tagging Jae Joong as well as posting pictures of her collection of TVXQ albums.

7. Astro’s Cha Eun Woo (차은우)

On July 2018, Han Seo Hee uploaded a picture of Cha Eun Woo on her personal Instagram, along with the caption, “Eunwoo, you are the reason Korea will have a brighter future,” showing her interest towards the “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung actor.

AROHAs (Astro fans) took her post the hard way, though. In this case, her pure intention of supporting the boy group member received a massive amount of backlash from his fans, asking her to stay away from him.

It was first reported by SpoTV on 25th July this year that a number of celebrity soldiers currently on mandatory service are coming together to record a song. In addition, the source added that the upcoming song will be more easy-going that even the listeners can jam along to.

A Taiwanese YouTuber is being sued after he illegally broke into IKEA in Taiwan and displayed indecent behaviour.

Max Lee, who is also the son of Taiwan actor Lee Hsing-wen, reportedly snuck into the Sinjhuang branch IKEA on 28th October to record a new video for his YouTube channel. His objective? To take on the IKEA challenge.

For the uninitiated, the IKEA challenge is where YouTubers will hide inside the store until it closes. Once the coast is clear, they will come out of their hiding place and theoretically pretend to have IKEA all to themselves.

In the 10-minute video titled “24Hour Challenge – Overnight Inside IKEA”, the young lad showed viewers his secluded spot. After the operation hours, he emerged recorded himself doing all the silly stunts.

He stripped naked then pretended to shower at a bathroom display and defecating on a toilet bowl. A few moments also showed him faking a masturbation in front of a computer display desk. Max also pretended to be an infant and slept in a cot. His other antics include walking on some furniture.

At one point, his movements even triggered the alarm. Amazingly, he proceeded on without being detected even when a guard went to check out the scene. The YouTuber remained in IKEA until the store opened and pretended to be an early customer. After leaving the store, he declared that he had “successfully completed the mission”.

Max only got into trouble after his video went viral on social media. Following an overwhelmingly negative feedback from the public, someone notified IKEA. The store manager, who identifies as Wang, called the cops and pressed charges against Max.

Many criticised the young man for his reckless behaviour and childishness as it could cost someone their job. He was summoned to the police station last Friday (1st November) and was formally charged with indecent conduct and unlawful entry.

Max has since apologised for his stunt and removed the “24Hour Challenge – Overnight Inside IKEA” from his YouTube channel and Facebook page. His father, who is famous for portraying military personnel in a Taiwanese TV series, has expressed disappointment over what happened.

Max, whose YouTube channel is called 馬克斯WillDoIt, has 3940 subscribers with over 289,000 views garnered for the content he has posted so far. The Taiwanese chap is known for recording pranks and posting them online.

Remember 2012, when we were all worried about the world ending and there was even a  Hollywood movie about it? Well it seems that fiction might turn into reality, as researchers found that a large part of Malaysia will be underwater by 2050.

Though, not as dramatic as the movie, the rise in sea level would still be fatal, with several of our major towns, ports and agricultural area being affected. The research in question was published by Nature Communications, and written by Scott A. Kulp and Benjamin H. Strauss.

The researchers used the digital elevation model (DEM) to predict the Asian countries that will be affected the most by the rise in sea levels. It was found that Asian countries would be affected the most, with China, Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam taking the brunt of it.

The news was then picked up by our local firm called Centre for Governance and Political Studies or CentGPS for short. CentGPS, took a closer look on the research while keeping an eye out on what it meant for Malaysia. What they found was a frightening discovery, with the firm taking it to Twitter to inform the public.

The ongoing drama between Sharnaz Ahmad and Noor Nabila has yet to reach a mutual solution.

The court decided yesterday (Wednesday, 6th November) to re-open the case on 4th December and appoint a hakam (arbitrator) for both the husband and wife. The decision took place in a close proceeding of the case that was held in Mahkamah Rendah Syariah Kuala Lumpur.

For those who don’t know, hakam is a process where the court has the power to elect anyone from the relatives of both parties that have knowledge on the ongoing issues and circumstances involved. In other words, the role of the hakam is to assist in resolving the dispute happening between the opposing sides.

Syarie Judge Ahmad Muttaqi Ismail has made the decision to set the date after both Sharnaaz and Nabila failed to reach a solution to resolve their domestic problems in their previously-elected Jawatankuasa Pendamai (Conciliatory Committee) (JKP).

According to Sharnaaz’s lawyer, Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kadir, the former flames are currently searching for the best way to reach a consensus. “The court has fixed that they will appoint a hakam in order to find the best way to end the dispute. We have a legal provision to refer this case to the arbitrator. In this case, both have their own reasons. If there is still no solution found, both have the right to take their case to the next level – by appointing hakam,” said Akberdin in the interview.

In the meantime, the “Cinta Bukan Kristal” actor expressed his gratitude that everything was running smoothly as planned. However, the 34-year-old declined to give further comments regarding the case. Instead, he said that he will “leave it to the lawyer to handle everything.”

Malaysian celebrity Nadia Brian has lodged a police report against popular gossip portal RotiKaya for allegedly giving degrading remarks towards her in one of their published articles. The report was made at the Bandar Sri Hartamas Police Station on Wednesday (6th October) at 5:30pm.

The article, titled “Simpanlah Sikit Maruah Diri Untuk Ke Liang Lahad” (Keep Some Of Your Dignity For The Grave) was published on Tuesday (29th October).

The “Cinta Tanpa Henti” actress further added that this is not the first time the entertainment blog has done that. “This is the second time,” the 28-year-old clarified, before adding, “The same thing happened to me last August. I ignored it, though. But this time around, I decided to take action because it (the writing) was too much.”

Nadia further added that the article not only affected her, but it also gave a significant impact to everyone else as well – including her family members and also her beau Muizz Nasruddin. “I have family, a fiancé and also the rest of his family members. They also got affected by this issue. This matter has resulted to the interruption of the preparations for my wedding,” said Nadia (full name Nadia Najwa Mohamed Rashidi).

Nadia’s lawyer, Nur Aizat Noor Azam said to Harian Metro that the court will send a notice claiming for an apology from RotiKaya. “We will send the notice (Today, Thursday, 7th November) and we will give them 7 days for their feedback. If there is no response from them, we will consider whether if we will take further action or not,” shared Nur Aizat.

As mentioned in our previous article, the actress received a massive amount of backlash for her westernised bridal shower party. However, she responded by questioning on why some entertainment blogs decided to make use of the netizens’ comments as a title for their article.

Even though he failed his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysian (SPM) exams after performing poorly in school, the 24-year-old has managed to set up a design company. He even taught himself Korean and the hard work has paid off.

“When I was in school, I played around a lot and I didn’t focus on my studies. I preferred to spend my time learning Photoshop, music, languages, and sports. After SPM, I decided to do things I like instead of the things that I have to, so I started my own design company,” Shah Azham wrote on Twitter.

“At the same time I noticed that Korean music, dramas, and shows were booming in Malaysia,” he continued. But enrolling into Korean classes was tough since he was earning (at most) only RM24 a month from T-shirt designs.

In that time, the young adult relied on materials online to help master the language. After collaborating with a Korean non-governmental organisation, he begin to realise the advantage of knowing a foreign language and in establishing connections overseas.

6 months after learning the language, Shah took a risk and moved to Seoul by himself with only RM700 from his savings. “I stayed in the cheapest 16-person dormitory and ate bread for every meal. I made many Korean friends and we would help each other out by learning each other’s languages and culture. My Korean language skills improved tremendously because over there, they don’t use English at all,” the Malaysian shared.

In Korea, I was approached by a Malaysian broadcasting company and I helped them film a variety show as they needed someone who can speak Bahasa, English and Korean. His effort paid off when a Malaysian broadcasting company got in contact with him to help them out as they needed a translator (who could communicate in Malay, English, and Korean) for a variety show in Korea.

Shah’s big break happened when a Korean friend in Malaysia told him that “an event organiser was looking for translators/interpreters for K-pop concerts”. His first gigs were for iKON and WINNER where his job scope include being the middle man between the Korean team and the local team.

From there, he had to learn a lot of production terms such as patch cable, timecode, stage lift, SFX, control lighting, VCR, sound check, special effects and more. Often times, he would translate for the sound director and the artists.

It was “one of the scariest, challenging yet (most) memorable jobs” as “working with a Korean team is very demanding in the sense of timing, accuracy, and efficiency. If you translate one word wrong, you’re done for”. “I don’t have to mention the stress. Every hour I felt like my head was going to explode, but it was definitely worth it,” Shah added.

He’s also done small concerts and fan-meetings, but his favourite experience is BLACKPINK’s concert in Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam.

Kristen Stewart recently did an interview with Howard Stern on “SiriusXM”. In the interview, the “Twilight” actress let loose on her side of the story about her 2012 affair.

The affair in question was with director Rupert Sanders, whom she worked with on “Snow White And The Huntsman”. At the time Sanders was a married to model Liberty Ross and Stewart was also in a relationship with her “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson.

The director was 19 years older than the actress, but that didn’t seem to matter in July 2012, when the two were spotted kissing in a car and cuddling on a bridge. The affair eventually went public and the “Charlie’s Angels” star was forced into an apology.

Seven years have passed since then, with the now 29-year-old denying that the affair went anywhere beyond kissing and cuddling. In the interview she told host Stern that, “I did not f**k him. This is like the most candid interview. No, I didn’t f**k him.”

The legendary radio host then asked the Californian on why she didn’t “shout that from the mountaintops” at the time, with her replying “Well, who’s going to believe me? It doesn’t even matter”. 

Later in the interview, they brought up the conversation of “Huntsman: Winter Wars”, which was a sequel to the movie the actress was in. The makers of the sequel decided to leave out the “Lizzie” star, which was a decision that annoyed her.

The “Certain Women” actress said, “We lived in a different time then, you know what I mean? I feel like the slut-shaming that went down was so absurd. And they should’ve put me in that movie! It would’ve been better. Not to be a d**k, but…”

However, by the end of the affair Kristen Stewart eventually got back together with “The King” star but ended up splitting again in 2013. In the same year, Ross divorced her director husband, Sanders, who she share two kids with.

Currently, the “Still Alice” star seems really happy dating her girlfriend, screenwriter Dylan Meyer. She also added in the interview that she’s already planning on marrying Meyer but kept it hush on how she’s going to do it.

During the session, Howard also asked the “Charlie’s Angels” star if she thought she was going to marry Pattinson. “I don’t know, I wanted to…yeah, no, I think I’ve never been in—” she replied when the host rephrased himself and asked, “If he proposed, you would’ve gotten married?”

The A-lister admitted yes but went on to add, “I don’t know. I’m not a super duper traditionalist, but at the same time, like yeah. Every relationship I’ve ever been in, I thought that was it. I’ve never like casually—maybe one or two, okay, I’m not giving everyone that due. I’ve never really been the most casual person.”
