Ryan Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr. are at it again. The two recently took to social media to start their fantasy football feud, as the pair are set to face off against each other – for charity, of course.

The entire thing started when Downey uploaded a video of himself on his social media. In the video, the “Iron Man” actor decided to use a more friendly approach when talking to his fellow Marvel co-star. He started the video by talking about his charity, but then continue on in a more cheeky manner when he started to talk about the “Deadpool” star.

In the video the 54-year-old said, “Robert Downey Jr. here, part of the AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League. I’m playing for Sacred Hearts, which is a rehabilitation from substance issues. Crazy about that.”

He then added, “We’re playing Ryan Reynolds this week. And I’m not a smack talker. I’m not gonna say ‘Ryan eat my pigskin’ or any of that stuff. Honestly, I’m praying for ya (awkward laugh). I wish you the best of luck. We’ll see ya on the field my brother. We’re all in this together…”

The “Sherlock” actor then ended the message with a change of demeanour and hissed out the words, “Eat eat” towards the Canadian. Being the sportsman that he is, Reynolds decided to respond with a video of his own.

The Vancouver native posted the response video, with him silently eating cookies with the face of the Marvel icon printed on them. This hilarious response prompted the upcoming “Dolittle” actor to comment in the Instagram post with the word, “#touche’”.

Reynolds joined the competition backed in September. He is in the good company of other Marvel actors – Tom Holland, Karen Gillan, Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Paul Rudd, Chris Evans, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth – who all are representing a different charity organisation. The 43-year-old star is representing Sick Kids Foundation.

He has this to say about the charity at the start of the event, “It’s for an incredible charity, the one I’m playing for is the Sick Kids Foundation of Canada. Just an amazing place. They do so much for kids across Canada, but not only that, they do so much for kids all across the world. Amazing people.”

AGBO Superhero Fantasy Football League, is a charity event organise by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, who directed “Avengers: Endgame”. Superhero costumes may looked good in photos, but wearing them can be a pain. However, actors Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Cox certainly found a way to make it more fun.

They decided to dress up as each other’s superhero during Halloween. The picture of the dress up was taken backstage at the end of the duo’s Broadway performance of “Betrayal on Broadway”.

Cox, 36, donned the costume of the Asgardian trickster, while Hiddleston, 38, wore the costume of the blind lawyer instead. Hiddleston’s Loki first appeared on the big screen in 2011’s “Thor”. Since then, the actor has appeared in multiple movies as the green cape character, and was last seen in “Avengers: Infinity Wars.”

Charlie Cox on the other hand, started playing the Marvel character in the small screen, appearing in the character’s self-titled series “Daredevil”. The series started our strong with rave reviews from critic and fans alike. But the Netflix cancellation of the show has put the character’s future in question, with speculations of a reboot underway on Disney+.

It was not only the two Marvel stars however, as fellow cast members Zawe Ashton and Eddie Arnold also joined in on the fun as Captain Marvel and Captain America. The group then surprised fans by signing autograph and taking selfies while still in costume.

Lazada’s annual 11.11 Super Show event is back and fans are already excited to catch the K-pop girl group perform their hit songs live.

As you may know, the Lazada 11.11 Super Show will be taking place on 10th November 2019 (Sunday) at 9pm onwards. Not much details have been revealed yet other than the fact that fans can join their contest and score 2 tickets to the event.

Consists of 6 members – Chorong, Bomi, Eunji, Naeun, Namjoo, and Hayoung – APINK released their last EP “Percent” earlier in January this year. Since then, they’ve been bringing their “Pink Collection” tour around Korea and Japan.

Besides APINK, other performers will include Ayda Jebat and Haziq Hussni. If you remember, K-pop co-ed group KARD (카드) was here last year where they entertained fans at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.

Every announcement Marvel films have become an experience, and that is no less true when “Shang-Chi and The Legends Of The 10 Rings” was first announced. Many questions were raised about Marvel’s first Asian lead movie. The most important of which was the villain. Marvel then gave us one name, Mandarin, not the Iron Man 3’s Mandarin, but a comic book faithful one.

The villain by himself might be an entertaining watch but Marvel has other plans as they recently introduced 4 more villains to join the Stan Lee character in the upcoming film. So while we wait for the film to come out, lets check out the history behind each of the new villains.

1. Moving Shadow

Moving Shadow is the half-brother of Shang-Chi, whom they both share the same father, Fu Manchu. While his brother betrayed and walked out on their father’s plans of world domination, Moving Shadow embraced his father’s teachings. So when he was eventually ordered to kill his half-brother, he had no problem with following these orders as he wants to prove his superiority over Shang-Chi.

2. Razor-Fist

Depending on which version or how the story is set, Razor-Fist is actually two brothers, named Douglas and William Scott. The brothers were brilliant martial artists, earning the name Razor-Fist because of their fast punches before becoming mercenaries. The brothers then took the same title and decided to pretend to be one person. They also lost their hand in a car accident and replaced their missing hand with a blade. They were then hired to hunt down Shang-Chi.

Key note: William Scott was later revealed with both blades on each of his hands when his brother got killed in the comic books.

3. Ghostmaker

Ghost Maker (real name Grigori Sovchenko) is the son of a high-ranking Soviet Union’s KGB member, who trained Ghost Maker martial art for the first 15 years of his life. His training was completed when he killed 10 western spies and came in conflict with Shang-Chi while attacking a military camp. Ghost Maker was later killed when he got expose to a deadly raindrop, but was then resurrected by a cult name Snakeroot to fight under their command.

4. Steel-Claw

Steel-Claw never appeared in the comic but has been linked to another character named Tiger-Claw. Tiger-Claw was a martial artist who confronted Shang-Chi father, Fu Manchu, where he demanded to be the master of Si-Fan, an ancient secret society. He was granted the position by Fu Manchu, after he killed several of the Si-Fan’s masters. Since then, he became an occurring villain in the Shang-Chi comics.

Fun fact: “The Dead Lands” actor Te Kohe Tuhaka reportedly auditioned for the role.

It’s been over a year since Dua Lipa’s smash hit collab with K-pop sensation BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) called “Kiss And Makeup” hit the airwaves. But we still hear it almost everywhere up until today.

In this case, they’ve been playing it on the radio, gyms and even in local fashion outlets to name a few. They even performed it together once during the multi-talented group’s “In Your Area” concert tour last May. There was one thing fans pointed out that was missing though – where is the music video?

During a recent game session of “Answering the Internet” with KISS fm UK, the English pop star finally revealed the long-awaited answer to the question. During one part of the interview, she was asked by a fan, “So is BLACKPINK and Dua Lipa ever going to release a music video for ‘Kiss and Makeup’?” She responded by saying, “Unfortunately my dear, not this time,” with a frown on her face.

“I would’ve loved to (do the video) and I love the girls. It’s just our schedules are bonkers and we never got the chance to do it. But maybe we’ll do another song at some point and we’ll try and deliver a video for you guys,” she further added in the session.

Rihana Oksana has kept her promise after assuring her Instagram followers that she would unveil her son’s face when he turns 5 months old.

While the majority of netizens have been flooding the posts with words of encouragements and comments on how adorable Ismail Leon, a few are questioning her motives.

Initially, many people weren’t sure if the Russian beauty was telling the truth when she claimed that her baby boy looks very much like Sultan Muhammad V. The confusion also stems from the fact that the Palace of Kelantan has never acknowledged the legitimacy of the child.

Now that the former beauty queen is finally comfortable showing her tiny tot to the world, many have finally come around. “The pictures are the best evidence that he looks like his father. For those haters that said this baby looks like Chinese, Bangla, and so on… Maybe jealousy has blinded your heart and eyes… This is between the royal family and her (…) and we should just give our blessing to the baby and the single mother,” one commented.

Rihana also dropped a bombshell when she commented that Sultan Faris’ lawyers had allegedly “asked me not to send him pictures of his son”. Her “all-caps” comments show that she’s been dealing with this sort of frustration for the past few months.

“Seriously? That’s awkward.. No wonder you are fighting to this extend.. Has he seen his baby already? I’m sure he will come back to Leon,” @arismendi_pilar responded in the Instagram post.

Having said that, a few are questioning her intention for making things so public. @lynx3080 suggested that a family feud should be settled behind closed doors and not by flaming the flames to this situation. Another called a gold digger and defended the former Agong.

When someone asked if little Leon will claim his place at the Kelantan Throne, Rihana replied, “my son can do it if he wants“, adding that the right belongs to him.

We’re pretty sure everyone knows that our Malaysian icon, Tan Sri P. Ramlee was gifted with his talents in acting, singing, film directing and also playing musical instruments. Not only that, his artsy hands was also reflected in his handwriting.

Some lucky fans managed to have a an exclusive look at his newly-founded work of art recently, thanks to a Facebook update shared by a user named Rosli Mohd. Nordin. In the post, he revealed that the coffee table book titled “Gemilang 50 Tahun Orkestra RTM” – which was edited and coordinated by the man himself – contains a letter personally written by the Seniman Agung himself.

According to Rosli, the book was published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Orkestra RTM back in 2011. Rosli further added that the reservation letter was written by P. Ramlee himself as a form of a reply to an invitation to perform with the other members of the marching band at the King’s Studio in Petaling Jaya.

Additionally, Rosli recalled that among the challenges he had as the editor, concept consultant, as well as coordinator of the 304 pages of the book, was to get the facts right. Besides that, they also found some difficulties in using suitable photos to complete the masterpiece.

“Supernatural” fans were shocked last week, when news of actor Jared Padalecki’s arrest hit news agencies worldwide. This has left many fans sweating, as they wondered how this will effect the relationships among the colleagues.

Thankfully, the fans don’t need to be too worried. Fellow co-star Jensen Ackles has come forth to assure fans that all is good on set. Speaking at DC Con on Sunday, the “Supernatural” star revealed that he and crew showed Padalecki, 37, plenty of love and even poked fun of the situation during “Gilmore Girl” star’s return.

“There’s a lot of love. I’m going to tell Jared to stay home more often,” the 41-year-old said at the event. “I’m kidding, we all miss my big, dumb friend. And I’ll just say it now, he had a bad weekend last weekend. He’s dealing with what he’s gotta deal with so just send him support and some love and have a good weekend this weekend.”

The “My Bloody Valentine 3D” star then go on to share, that the future “Texas Ranger” actor was given a couple of days off following the incident. He was then welcomed back on set with Ackles bringing him in the venue, with handcuffs on. Classic!

Uh oh, it looks like Jungkook (전정국) was involved in a car accident over the weekend, 2nd November to be exact.

The Seoul Yongsan Precinct revealed that 22-year-old K-pop star broke an unspecified traffic law and is police are currently investigating the case.

The BTS member was driving his Benz in Yongsan’s Hannam when he crashed into a taxi. Thankfully, both Jungkook and the taxi driver were not seriously injured and were treated at a hospital for their minor injuries.

Big Hit Entertainment has since released a statement in regards to the incident:

“This is a statement regarding member Jungkook’s car accident.

The police have not closed this case yet, so we cannot reveal the exact details, but Jungkook was driving his car last week when he had a minor collision with another vehicle due to his own mistake.

Both the victim and Jungkook did not sustain any major injuries.

Jungkook admitted that he violated the road Traffic Act immediately after the accident. The scene of the accident was resolved and police questioning was completed according to the due process, and an amicable settlement was made with the victim afterwards.

We once again apologise to the victim, and we also express apologies for causing concern to fans. Thank you.”

According to Naver, Jungkook has admitted to his faults. He will cooperate with investigations and has reportedly settled with the victim.

Many ARMYs have praised the idol for owning up to his mistake and are glad that there were no serious injuries.

MONSTA X leader Shownu (셔누) has found himself in the middle of the spotlight yet again. This time around, an internet user posted a set of sexually suggestive photos of the K-pop idol on social media.

According to Koreaboo, a photo of a man – presumably Shownu (real name Son Hyunwoo) – was shown sleeping on a bed while another portrayed him posing full naked. Based on our findings online, the “leaked photos” look vasty different from the 27-year-old Seoul-born singer.

As a response, Starship Entertainment – MONSTA X’s home label – has come out with a statement that strongly opposes the allegations thrown towards Shownu. In addition, they also revealed that they will take legal actions against the irresponsible person who started the gossip.

Here is what the entertainment company has to say:

“At the moment, photos involving Shownu that were illegally manipulated are spreading online and throughout social media. We will file a report against the person who initially released the photos, as well as against the people who have spread the photos.

We will work with our legal counsel to pursue strong legal actions against them via lawsuits, seeking compensation for damages based on violating the Law on Special Cases For Sexual Violence Crimes, spreading pornographic material, and violating personal right.”

Not only that, Starship Entertainment revealed today (Monday, 4th November) that they will bring the ongoing cases surrounding Shownu and former member Wonho (원호) to the court. According to the agency, the current condition of MONSTA X has in turn brought a massive number of malicious comments made against the boy band.

As a result, they are planning to bring forward the case to the court. This can be taken as a sign of warning issued by Starship against the trolls’ attempt to defame their artistes. Feel free to check out their official statement here:

Jason Momoa is certainly the man of the hour. Ever since he established himself as the DC superhero “Aquaman”, many have taken an interest on the character’s progress.

It was recently announced that his stepdaughter, Zoe Kravitz, will be playing Catwoman in the upcoming “The Batman” movie. A ton of fans have called for a crossover to be made for the father-daughter duo.

In an interview with Entertainment Online, he was asked about his reaction on the casting of both Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman and Robert Pattinson’s Batman. The “Justice League” star had nothing but praise for the both of them.

In regards to Kravitz, the stepfather was all smiles saying, “So proud. It’s perfect casting, it’s perfect. She’s gonna killed it.” He did not stopped there, as Jason Momoa also expressed his excitement on Pattinson’s casting. “I’m really stoked. He’s a good man, he’s a great actor. I’m excited about the whole thing,” the hunky actor said.

Being a conversation of DC’s characters, it didn’t take long before he was asked about the potential crossover for the beloved characters. Sadly, the answer given by the DC star was certainly not the one fans were hoping for.

The Hawaiian native quickly shot down any possibility of the crossover. “I mean, it’d be awesome, but I don’t think it’s going that way. Let’s just let them do their thing and I’ll do my thing,” he was quoted as saying. But this might just be a blessing in disguise, as Warner Bros. have been criticised in the past for rushing a mega superhero movie rather than focusing on origin stories.

Low Taek Jho, was recently found to obtain a Cypriot passport and a €5 million (approx. RM23 million) home on the island.

According to Politis, a Greek newspaper in Cyprus, the passport was obtained via the global passport and citizenship broker Henley & Partners. They were also responsible for helping Low to commission another passport from Saint Kitts and Nevis, which was terminated amid a global investigation on the Malaysian fugitive.

The report was carried out by Sarawak Report, who translated the greek report. According to the publication, the way broker Henley & Partners was able to set up the passport was through the nation’s Cyprus Investment Program (KEP). It is a ‘citizenship for investment’ programme that started in 2013.

Under the program, the passport holder is required to deposit a minimum of €5 million in a local Cypriot bank for 3 years. Additionally, the holder is also required to purchase a home of at least €500 thousand on the island. This would explain the reported purchase of the €5 million villa made by Henley & Partners on behalf of Jho Low.

It was also reported that Jho Low arrived in Cyprus on 18th September 2015 and received his passport within 2 days through an express procedure. The villa on the other hand was purchased on 23rd September 2015 and was due to be completed within two months.

A background check was conducted on the Malaysian, prior to getting the passport, which raises several red flags. The red flags show that he was a politically exposed person, and involved in money laundering, as well as accused of fraud and regulation breaches, in addition to other risk factors. But despite all that the passport was granted anyway.

Who is the baby daddy? This may be hard to believe but rumours are currently circulating that Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎) is with child.

Is it Kenneth Ma (馬國明) her former beau? Maybe it’s Andy Hui (許志安), who was involved together in this year’s biggest cheating scandal? Or someone else?

China Post reported that the news started making rounds in Chinese social media channels a few days ago. Observers speculate that the 30-year-old star has been using “directing and acting classes” as cover while she prepares for childbirth.

The disgraced actress fled to Los Angeles shortly after her kissing scandal with Andy Hui went viral online. It was previously reported that Jacqueline had opted for a career change to be a real estate agent and now goes by the name Rachel.

However, her sister Scarlet denied it saying, “You will need to sit for exams first before you can call yourself a real estate agent“. She then added sarcastically, “(Perhaps) tomorrow I will be an agent and I will change my name to Veronica.”

Word on the street has it that Jacqueline Wong may consider paying Malaysia a visit since local cable TV channel Astro will be airing “The Offliners” (堅離地愛堅離地) this month and “The Maid Alliance” (丫鬟大聯盟) in December.

Time will tell if any of these are true.

Recently, a video clip showing an anonymous man giving K-Clique’s MK “the bird” during his show in Sandakan, Sabah went viral on social media, causing an uproar among the internet community.

It didn’t stop there. After the young rapper finished his performance, the individual and some of his friends continued to provoke him. As a result, the situation turned intense until the organisers and management had to interfere and calm the situation down.

As a response, MK (real name Muhammad Hairi Amin) recently came out to clarify the whole situation. According to him, he considered the incident on that day was common and normal for him. He also felt that the situation was still under control, despite the tension during the commotion.

“(The incident last Saturday) was all a misunderstanding. Maybe the guy was not really satisfied with our performance. He started to pick a fight with me while I was performing by showing his middle finger to me…but I did not took offence,” he said to mStar.

“After the show, there was a meet and greet session with the fans, and the guy still continued with his provocation until the management team as well as the organiser had to intervene. Thankfully, everything was under control and there was no unwanted situation happened. Good job to the team,” he further added in the interview.

When asked about his experience after the unexpected encounter, the “Mimpi” hit maker assured that he didn’t consider the incident as a setback for him in order to deliver a good performance for his fans.

“This is not the 1st time such incident happened, there were a few before this!” he shared, before adding, “In this case, I have to remember that I am paid to perform on stage and I have to give my full commitment to my work.”

“I just want to give my best for the crowd. It is my job to perform on stage and I will do it whole-heartedly. We cannot be overwhelmed with emotions. It is best to avoid from creating such fuss to a small matter which might result to a big loss for everyone,” said MK.

We couldn’t agree more with MK’s statement. Hopefully people can be more mindful of their actions and be respectful towards one and another after this.

Mandy Lieu (劉碧麗) may not be Alvin Chau (周焯華)’s wife but at least the Malaysian-American model managed to bag a handsome deal from the Macau billionaire.

Reports first surfaced last week that the 34-year-old mistress had decided to end her 5-year relationship with the 45-year-old entertainment tycoon after he refused to divorce his wife Heidi Chan (陳慧玲), 39.

As a result, Alvin had generously paid her HK$300 million (RM158 million) as a “breakup fee”. Mandy had been hoping for get an official title but the Ipoh-born beauty ultimately had given up hope after realising her former beau wasn’t going to part ways with his wife.

For those that don’t know, the courtship of Mandy and Alvin first started in August 2014. It started out as a fling as the model wasn’t aware that he was already a married man. However, their relationship carried on even after the realisation.

Mandy gave birth to their first child – a daughter – in London on 20th May 2015. The couple decided to go public with their romance and declared their love on 17th December 2015 after multiple sightings of dinner dates. The mistress went on to bore him 2 more children – a son and another daughter – in June 2016 and September 2017, respectively.

On the other spectrum, Alvin has 2 daughters with Heidi, as well as another son (Pak Chau) from a previous marriage. Pak is reportedly close to Heidi and has even publicly showed support for his stepmom on social media before. However, despite Heidi’s request for a divorce, the tycoon has refused to sign the papers. It is believed that the decision is to keep the family intact.

Speculations about Alvin and Mandy’s relationship has been going on for awhile now, especially since the former is rarely seen in London, where his baby mama resides. It’s reported that Alvin previously transferred 5 of his companies to London for Mandy to manage.

Mandy’s father, a white American, left the family before she was born. She and her younger brother were raised by their Malaysian-Chinese mother. She moved to Tokyo when she was 17 and later went to Hong Kong to develop her modelling career.

The couple attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci in Los Angeles where they were photographed together on the red carpet holding hands and grinning. At the event, Grant chose a dark blue gown with a deep cut V-neck, while Reeves wore a slick all black suit.

This will mark the first relationship the Canadian has in decades. The “John Wick” star previously dated actress Jill Schoelen and director Sofia Coppola. Not only that, the A lister was also married to actress Jennifer Syme, who famously worked with director David Lynch.

Unfortunately, the marriage did not last as the Reeves and Syme parted ways in 2000, just weeks after the lost of their daughter. In 2001, Syme who was suffering from depression got involved in a tragic car accident resulting in her death. The news hit “Matrix” actor hard, as it was reported that he was very much still in love with her.

The lost of Syme weighed heavy on the “Bill and Ted” star that, “there were times when Keanu Reeves couldn’t get out of bed in the morning,” an insider told Life & Style. Luckily, the insider latter added that the actor did change for the better after he met his now girlfriend, Grant.

The two have been friends for years, with them having worked together on his 2011’s book, “Ode To Happiness”. The duo then collaborated again in 2016 on “Shadows” with the American being responsible for the illustration for the book. They later opened up a small publishing company called, X Artists’ Books, the following year.

Currently, the actor is hard at work having been starred in this year’s “Toy Story 4“, “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” and Netflix’s “Always Be My Maybe”. His next project is expected to be the new “Matrix” movie, that will be directed by Lana and Lily Wachowski.

“So far, he is okay with the current condition. In case if I am not travelling there, we often catch up with each other through video calls only,” the “Cinta Belum Tamat Tempoh” starlet further added.
