Rumour has it that Hans Zhang (張翰) and Janine Chang (張鈞甯) tying the knot soon?

The couple have been trending on Weibo with fans wanting to get to the bottom of their relationship status. While some think that the pair will get married in October, others claim that they have already signed the marriage papers.

Word caught fire after a netizen claimed that Hans and Janine visited a civil office to get their marriage license. The person also uploaded pictures from May 2018 of the A-listers on a flight to South Korea as “evidence”. Despite the questionable proof, the rumour went viral and trended on Weibo.

It clear that fans have been shipping Hans and Janine together ever since they starred alongside each other in last year’s romance drama “Here to Heart” (温暖的弦). Due to their strong chemistry and fan services during promotional tour, it’s hard to imagine as anything but a power couple.

Although neither the 34-year-old actor nor the 37-year-old actress have come forward to deny the rumour, Han’s official fan club has denied the rumours, saying that it’s all false.

She’ll be starring alongside a bunch of A-list actresses including Jessica Chastain, Penélope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o, and Diane Kruger (who replaced French actress Marion Cotillard in June). The problem is, Bingbing may still be barred from leaving China.

Although Bingbing had done some photoshoots and promotional work for “355”, a body double for her showed up on set in France recently. Reports claim that Chinese actress Lu Ning (鹿寧) has been standing in for Bingbing since July.

The CGI dots (or green spots) on Lu Ning’s face will probably be replaced with  Bingbing in post-production. In addition to Paris, “355” will also be shot in London and Morocco.

Malaysian celebrity Elfira Loy is known among fans for being open about her personal life – particularly her marriage with husband Faris Khairol Anuar.

Recently, a Twitter user, Azlil Adzif shared a video of the former child star making a prank call to Faris. In the 1-minute video, Elfira – known as El in short – expressed her wish to eat a bar of soap.

As a response, Faris showed no signs of prohibiting the actress from doing so. Instead, he spontaneously replied “makanlah (go on and eat),” – implying that she’s allowed to do whatever she wants to.

El further added during the phone conversation, asking Faris to wear a Manchester United jersey. However, her request was met with a surprising reaction by the former “On Air Malaysia” contestant, “No..no…no… I’ll only wear Liverpool shirts”.

The 25-year-old actress was persistent and even threaten to report to her mother. Faris reacted by saying, “You keep on complaining to Mama. Okay then, keep on complaining,” before adding, “Okay can, everything also can,” showing that he’s no longer interested in entertaining his wife.

The post has garnered significant amount of reactions among keyboard warriors on Twitter. While some left negative remarks towards Faris’ cold reactions. Some also criticised him for complying with all his wife’s orders.

After Li Ronghao (李榮浩) and Rainie Yang (楊丞琳) got engaged in July, the Taiwanese songstress revealed that they would tie the knot within the next 2 years.

She wasn’t kidding but we just didn’t expect the lovebirds to get married so soon. It’s just a marriage certificate, so it’s not like there’s going to be a wedding ceremony anytime soon.

Earlier on Monday (16th September), several fans spotted the lovebirds at the airport. Onlookers said that they were acting very sweet towards one another. No one suspected that they were flying to Hefei, China to register for their marriage.

Yesterday, word started spreading around when a netizen (who works at the Civil Affairs Department) claimed to witness Li and Yang signing their marriage papers. “This morning, Rainie and Ronghao came to Hefei to register their marriage. My friend who works there told me. It just happened only,” the person wrote.

When asked to produce a screenshot of the marriage certificate as proof, the person shared a candid photo of the couple in the process of signing papers. Both dressed in matching white outfits, Yang might have caught the person snapping their picture without permission.

The new husband and wife later released similar statements through their management to address the rumours. “Thank you all for your concern,” the statement reads. An insider shared that Yang is not pregnant and that the newlyweds plan to hold their wedding banquet sometime next year.

During her appearance on the variety show, “Heart Signal”, a few months back, the singer-actress talked about her preference in a romantic partner. When it comes to physicality, Yang shared that she likes Li’s “perfect height and shoulders”. It doesn’t hurt that her other half also possesses “intelligence and emotional quotient (EQ)”.

Several news reports recently claimed that BTS member Jungkook (정국) is currently in a relationship with tattooist Lee Mijoo (이미주), who works at a store called “T” Tattoo Shop.

As a response to the news, both Jungkook’s home label – Big Hit Entertainment – as well as Mijoo herself came out with their own statements in order to shut down all the false reports. The latter clarified that they’re just good friends and are not romantically involved as reported by local news outlets.

However, before they even got the chance to clarify the whole situation, the manager of the tattoo shop has stepped in to address the whole situation first. The statement of the manager is read as follows:

“Both Jungkook and Lee Mijoo know each other personally, but a lot of celebrities come to our shop. Rumour has it that Jungkook and Lee Mijoo have couple tattoos. It’s 100% untrue. I can put everything on the line and say that the news is not true.”

His statement was met with massive backlash from ARMYs as well as netizens. Not long after that, the manager further claimed that he’s in danger of getting fired after spilling the tea about the scandal.

“I’m in danger of getting fired just because I said Jungkook didn’t get his tattoo done here, I’m getting a lot of messages through my personal social media accounts. I don’t understand why am I getting cursed at,” he said. 

As a response to the manager’s statement, the owner of “T” Tattoo Shop also addressed the ongoing issue. In this case, he insisted that Jungkook is friends with all of the staff members, including Lee Mijoo.

“The manager barely knows anything. I fully understand that Jungkook’s side (Big Hit) has released the official statement. But rest assured that we’re all friends.”

Additionally, he revealed that he will terminate the manager’s service as a result of the controversy he caused, “I think we will be switching managers soon. I’m going to let him go today.”

The family feud between Aaron and Nick Carter has just escalated to a whole new level.

The Backstreet Boys star has just filed a restraining order against his younger brother Aaron claiming his sibling threatened to kill his “pregnant wife and unborn child”.

Nick, 39, alleged that Aaron, 31, has “exhibited increasingly unstable behaviours” and “recently admitted to having schizophrenia with multiple other mental disorders”. On top of that, their sister Angel Carter claimed that Aaron confessed “about killing babies and has thought about killing (Nick’s) wife, Lauren” during a FaceTime conversation that took place on 7th August.

Aaron has been vehemently denying the accusations saying, “I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family.”

But Nick isn’t having any of it. “I need an injunction because I fear for my safety, the safety of my wife and children, and the safety of my wife’s parents. I am afraid he will listen to the voices in his head and cause harm to my family,” the boy-bander said in his filing. He even released a statement on Twitter, which you can check it below:

TMZ and The Blast confirmed that a Las Vegas judge has issued a temporary restraining order against Aaron, which requires him to stay 100 yards away from Nick and his family. After claiming he was cutting ties with Nick, Aaron also went on to air a bunch of Nick’s old dirty laundry (including a 2003 rape case).

Aaron, who suffers from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety and manic depression, also claims that he and Nick haven’t seen each other in 4 years.

In celebration of Oh!K’s 5th birthday, the 36-year-old South Korean actor will be holding a meet and greet with fans at 1 Utama Shopping Centre on 19th October.

The public first took notice of the Asian hunk when he debuted in romance drama “New Tales of Gisaeng” – which earned him a Best New Actor award in 2011. Since then, his list of accolades has expanded with Best Entertainer Award at the 2nd Asia Artist Awards, and the Korean Model Star award at the 13th Asia Model Awards.

Haneesya Hanee (full name Sharifah Haneesya Hanee Sayed Sahalan) just found herself in the middle of the spotlight yet again.

The former “Dewi Remaja” contestant posted a video on her Instagram story recently. During the 10-seconds clip, she was seen crying after knowing that a restaurant she dine in was serving shark fin soup in their menu.

Haneesya’s actions in the clip has received tons of backlash among local netizens. In this case, most of them slammed her for being a drama queen.

Additionally, an internet user was also seen poking fun at her dark skin tone. The 19-year-old model-actress has been receiving various negative remarks from fans. Check out their comments below:

As a response to the ongoing backlash, Haneesya finally came out with her explanations, “I was hanging out with my friends and ordered a regular meal we often have at the food stall. While waiting for the food to arrive, I opened the menu and I just realised that they also have shark fin soup in their menu,” she said in an interview with mStar.

“Due to the fact that I’m being overwhelmed with sadness, I decided to share a video to express my opinions and feelings. For your information, I am known as an animal lover among my close acquaintances.”

During the session, she expressed her confusion following the spread of the clip, “I didn’t know that the video went viral. I didn’t have the time to check my account. My only intention was to share it on Instagram Story with my followers.”

“Maybe because at that time I was a bit too emotional. Rest assured that it’s not an act. Whoever felt that I was overreacting, I cannot just please each and every one of you. As an animal lover, I am deeply disappointed of the menu provided by the restaurant.”

She even took to Twitter to share with her fans her shock following the news. The “Curi-Curi Cinta” actress wrote on her post, “Hahahaha why am I just finding out that the shark fin soup video went viral? And I knew about this through a phone call from a blogger. Y’all be really doing it for the clout.”

Red Velvet member Irene (아이린) recently proved to K-Pop fans why she’s one of the most popular female idols.

The 28-year-old finally opened her personal Instagram account using the name @renebaebae – following the footsteps of fellow members Yeri, Seulgi and also Joy.

Red Velvet fans worldwide celebrated her debut on Instagram by leaving positive words in the comments section. However, not long after posting her one and only update, fans pointed out that her account has been missing – much to the dismay of everyone.

It’s believed that the account was flagged and removed due to the fact that Irene’s account gained too much followers in such a short time.

As of writing, her Instagram is still nowhere to be found. The only accounts visible are only a number of fake @renebaebae Instagrams everywhere, taking advantage of the current situation. K-Fans worldwide are hoping that Instagram would be able to find a solution for this matter.

“Hustlers” have been receiving a ton of positive reviews – particularly from the Toronto International Film Festival – since its debut.

Based on a true story by Jessica Pressler’s New York Magazine article titled, “The Hustlers at Scores”, many movie-goers have also been anticipating to see the Hollywood A-list female cast in action. Lead actress Jennifer Lopez has also been getting Oscar buzz for her role as Ramona.

“Hustlers” was supposed to premiere in Malaysian cinemas this week. Sadly, the movie has been banned by the LPF (Film Censorship Board of Malaysia) at the 11th hour. This came after local distributor TGV Pictures said that “Hustlers” was “postponed due to technical issues”.

We later received word that “Hustlers is not sanctioned to release in Malaysia by the censor board”. TGV also apologises for the inconvenience caused after contest winners were notified just hours before the screening time.

If anything, this has only made people more curious to check out “Hustlers”. We won’t be surprise if many end up resorting to illegal streaming via torrent or other online sites. To quote Lowyat, “it’s reality of our current climate, if people want to watch something, they can and they will“.

When asked about BTS, the Atlanta-born heartthrob opened the chat by saying, “I saw them from when they debuted. I’ve been with them since the beginning. I’ve seen them go through the entire thing”. For those who might not know, both Eric Nam and BTS debuted in 2013.

“When they started, they were these underdogs in the industry and I know they were having a very difficult time because Korea, K-Pop, is so competitive. You have hundreds of groups debut every year. Maybe one percent is going to stay around for a few years,” Eric further added.

Additionally, he also recalled back the time when BTS decided to use a rarely used approach in promoting their music to the public, “I remember that they were doing things non-traditionally, in the sense that they were shooting a show in LA, and they were doing tiny venues, and they were really just cutting their teeth, I guess, to figure out what their sound and what their image and what their look was going to be.”

Eric also gave all the credits to ARMYs (BTS fans) out there by saying that ARMYs “were really rooting for that underdog. They were that perfect underdog story. But it worked because they’re amazing performers.” In addition, he also compared the VMA Award winning group to America’s Best Dance Crew, complimenting their ability to sing, dance and rap at the same time.

The “Good For You” singer also dished on what happened during K-Con Concert back in 2014. At that time, BTS performed as an opening act for more popular groups like CNBLUE and also Girls’ Generation. Despite the fact, they managed to wow the audience during their live stage performance.

“I was there (at the event) like…watching them, and they stole the show,” Eric said, before adding, “Because their choreography, their charisma, and the way they do things. People were like, ‘Is that magic? What is going on?’ and from there it was this organic growth of people – like international fans – saying these kids are so under appreciated, but they’re so good. And (from there) they just kept touring and they just sold everything out. And now, they’re one of the biggest act in the world,” closing his discussions about the “Boy With Luv” hit maker.

However, not all are happy with the finished product though. In this case, some fans pointed out that the dolls appears to be too creepy and disturbing in their facial expression. In addition, some also said that the figures doesn’t look like the BTS members at all. Instead, they compared the faces to scary characters in movies such as “Annabelle” and also “Chucky”, implying that the dolls will ‘attack’ them in their sleep.

Others also expressed their disappointment on the price of these items. For those who might not know, the price for each member is worth RM104.90! Some netizens felt that the price is too expensive and it will be a waste of money to spend for a non-talking K-Pop idol.
