After getting engaged last August, Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling are officially husband and wife!

The 32-year-old Grammy-nominated songstress and the 27-year-old art dealer’s wedding was fit for music royalty. The church wedding saw royal family members and famous Hollywood stars in attendance.

The newlyweds exchanged vows inside York Minster Cathedral in Yorkshire, England. It was later followed by a reception at Castle Howard. The pop star reportedly arrived at the venue around 3:35pm in a blue Volkswagen camper van decorated with flowers. It was hard to miss the bride emerged from the vehicle with loud cheers from the crowd.

Inside, both Goulding and Jopling exchanged vows and sealed it with a lovely kiss. The lovebirds were surrounded by friends and family, as well as adorable flower girls and pageboys. “They giggled together and looked extremely happy to be man and wife,” a source described.

It’s worth noting that the pop star wore a hand-embroidered, long-sleeve Chloé bespoke wedding dress designed by Natacha Ramsay-Levi while Caspar wore bespoke tailoring by Huntsman.

Get this, the bride’s wedding gown took more than 640 hours to construct! Just Jared shared that “the silk double crêpe white dress was hand embroidered with White Roses of York and subtly embellished with white glass beads. Doubled with a silk radzimir petticoat, the garment took more than 640 hours to construct and highlights the meticulous skill and savoir-faire of the Chloé Paris atelier”.

As for the final touches, “the airy and delicate silk tulle veil and organza collar were embroidered with the bride and groom’s initials: E and C. It took 591 hours for the petites mains to hand-make this creation!”

“I was so thrilled and excited to collaborate with Natacha at Chloé on my wedding dress. I have loved the brand and their incredible team for years, so it only seemed right for Chloé to play big part of this special day,” Goulding was previously quoted as saying.

“Natacha worked alongside me to design something timeless and classic, but with all the Chloé spirit. Natacha is a very talented designer and I have admired her work from day one. I have never felt more special than the moment I first tried on the dress during my fitting in Paris, it was utterly awe-inspiring to see the craftsmanship and attention to detail,” she added.

It was also a star-studded affair as British high society included Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice (with boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi), and their mother, Sarah Ferguson. A-list couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were also present at the wedding ceremony.

Another day, another bad news received by MeUs (f(x) stans) out there.

Just weeks after f(x) member Krystal hinted of quitting from being an idol, it was announced that fellow member Amber (엠버) (刘逸云) has decided to leave their home label SM Entertainment.

The 27-year-old took to her personal Instagram account to announce the surprising news. She posted a heartfelt letter written by her in both Korean and English language. The letter’s read as followed (via Soompi):

“Hey everyone, I would like to announce my contract with SM Entertainment has ended today, and I have decided to part ways with the company. From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to thank everyone who believed in me and have been patient with me all these years. I can’t wait to show you what’s in store in this next chapter of my career. Again and always, thank you!! Love, peace, and Boba –Llama.”

Amber joined SM Entertainment back in 2008 after she passed the company’s global audition. She then debuted with f(x) in September 2009. Just this past month, Amber and her fellow members – Luna and Krystal reunited and performed together as a trio for the first time in 4 years.

The name Luna (or Qinniu Zhengwei) became the #1 Hot Search List on Weibo when she was rumoured to be dating Kris Wu (吴亦凡).

Fans were even more surprised when a private conversation with the Chinese superstar leaked online. This came after Luna and Kris were photographed holding hands in public.

In the 1-minute video clip, the girl’s face remained hidden. She explained to the 28-year-old singer that she didn’t feel presentable, to which he laughed at her cheeky remark. It was evident from the chat that they were more than just friends, having showed concern for one another.

However, in a surprising turn of events, Luna’s studio has come forward to clarify that the girl in the video wasn’t her. “Always respected Teacher Wu, never dated, there’s no video, no story,” the statement on Weibo reads.

Following her denial, rumour has it that the girl in the video is allegedly Han Qiyuan (韓其原). Not much is known about her other than the fact that she was born in 2002 and is currently a student at Central Academy of Drama.

After receiving popular demand by local fans, Uniqlo Malaysia finally announced that they will restock their Uniqlo x KAWS summer collection. The collab project was officially available in-stores as of Friday (30th August 2019). For those who might not know, the collection already made its debut in June this year.

However, some fans took it a little too hard when the good news came out. A video online went viral showing a Uniqlo outlet in IOI mall was flooded by a swarm of customers who were waiting to grab their hands on the limited edition T-Shirts.

Based on the clip, we can see that the crowd was already rushing into the outlet, even before the gate was opened. As soon as the store officially opened, the crowd started to forced their way in and continued raiding the shelves. Additionally, screams could be heard as fans rioted to not missed out on the chance to purchase the items.

On top of that, the video also showed a scene where a man climbed onto the rack and pulled of as many tees as possible, only to receive several backlash from the crowd as well as netizens online.

Based on a report by WoB, the restocked Uniqlo X KAWS limited edition tees were sold out in just 2 minutes. However, the aftermath of the chaos was beyond expectations. Everything went flying as soon as customers made their exit, ranging from signs, cloth hangers and also rubbish. Even a shoe was left at the scene, showing how chaotic the atmosphere was.

The person who uploaded the video – known as Sammicci – then posted a full video on YouTube. In the 8-minute video the netizen also mentioned that many people tend to re-sell the T-shirts after purchasing them in-store, often for a double price.

And we couldn’t agree more. We took a look at the Carousell site and found that some people are already re-selling the exclusive tees for as much as RM120! Keep in mind that the original selling price for a piece of the T-shirt is only RM59.90.

The 29-year-old “Patah Seribu” singer announced the good news via her social media account that she had safely delivered a son, named Seth Uwais bin Haris Idraki on Saturday (31st August 2019) – the day we celebrated Merdeka nationwide.

In the post, Shila expressed her gratitude and thanked her family members, friends as well as her fans for their warm wishes and prayers, “Syukur Alhamdulillah, I have safely delivered our first baby last night on the 31st of August (on Merdeka Day and Awal Muharram), at 11:43, through the emergency c-section, weighed 2.88kg.”

“Haris and I are so touched with all the warm prayers and wishes, thank you so much. Alhamdulillah thank you for the blessings of Allah for His grace and sustenance. Introducing, Seth Uwais bin Haris Idraki,” she further added in the post.

In addition to that, she also updated her followers on her current condition. According to the award-winning performer, she’s advised by her doctor to have full rest after 55-hours and 43-minutes battle in the labour room. She expressed hope that the netizens will pray for her health.

This is the couple’s first child since tying the knot on 19th April 2018. Congrats to the new mummy and daddy!

As a response, the 40-year-old performer revealed that she decided to stay mum and ignore about what the cybernauts have claimed.

In an interview with Awani, she clarified that all of the things she has today is a result of her dedication in the music industry, “For those who have already involved in this field (cycling), they already know which type is good and which one’s lighter. About the issue of netizens ‘digging’ the price, I can’t avoid them because the public as well as fans will witness everything – what am I wearing, what I am eating, what am I doing etc.”

“But one thing I know is all of these things are not just for fun and games but it’s actually a product of hard work,” she added during the session.

The “Anta Permana” star also added that all of the equipment is actually managed by her husband, Datuk Khalid Jiwa – known as Datuk K in short.

“Datuk K is passionate when it comes to transports like cars, motorbikes and even bicycles. He will take the initiative to enhance and modify the vehicles. In fact, I will just leave it all to Datuk K when it comes to managing my bike. As far as I know, when I’m cycling, the tyre feels light.”

The police has decided to re-open the investigation regarding former iKON member B.I (김한빈)’s drug allegations.

The announcement was made by the Gyeonggi Southern Provincial Police Department in a press conference held on 2nd September 2019 (Monday).

In addition, they also revealed plans to look into the involvement of former YG Entertainment boss, Yang Hyunsuk who allegedly threatened the 23-year-old’s acquaintance known as ‘A’ – which was revealed to be Han Seohee – to keep her mouth shut from telling the truth about the case.

Han Seohee then filed a report to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission against the entertainment agency for their actions in trying to stop her from participating in the investigation. The commission that referred the case to the police, who then allocated it to the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office.

The Gyeonggi-based police department also added that they have set up a task force team in order to look more into the case immediately after the report was made. And the police has reportedly agreed to handle the case by conducting their own investigation.

“We have discussed it with the prosecution team and are trying to persuade ‘A’ (Han Seohee) to be questioned by the police,” a representative from the policy stated. “We will thoroughly investigate these allegations so that no questions will remain.”

The B.I drug case has been ongoing since June this year.

Many are wondering if Todd Phillips’ “Joker” will emulate Ledger or will it differ completely? It’s already been confirmed that Joaquin Phoenix’s version will have nothing to do with Gotham City’s mob. But fans are asking, what more?

During the recent Venice Film Festival (where the film received an 8-minute standing ovation from audiences), Phillips went into detail about the difference between Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck and the iconic DC villain in 2008’s “The Dark Knight”.

“I don’t think it was this Joker’s goal to watch the world burn. This Joker had an entirely different goal in mind. In the beginning of the movie he’s sitting here doing this (forcing himself to smile and frown) in the very first scene, and it’s a guy searching for identity,” the 48-year-old said.

The filmmaker added, “I think he becomes, mistakenly, a symbol, and really what he was looking for was adulation. He was never looking for the world to burn, this Joker. As for the past ones, that’s a different thing. But our guy, that wasn’t his goal.”

Phillips also emphasised that the latest Arthur Fleck truly believes that his purpose on earth is to bring laughter to people. “He thought he was put here on this Earth to make people laugh and bring joy to the world, and he made a few bad decisions along the way, but no, his goal was not that. I think he became a mistaken leader, so to speak, or a symbol. Even (Robert) De Niro, (who plays) Murray (Franklin), says it to him. And Arthur says, ‘No, I’m not political.’ He just didn’t get what he was creating,” he shared.

Anyone here familiar with “Drama Spontan”? For those who are curious, “Drama Spontan” is a series of short videos on YouTube. The series have garnered a large fan base due to their humorous jokes and deep meaning in the videos’ message.

Recently, fans of the series were surprised by the news about the conflict between content creators, Syahmi Sazli and Asif Suhaimi, one of the familiar face for the video. The issue between the two might result in the latter possibly not appearing in any future “Drama Spontan” projects.

Syahmi revealed via his Instastory that there is an inclusion of a 3rd party claiming that she is the “caretaker” of the autism child, which caused a strained relationship between them.

Additionally, the “caretaker” allegedly expressed her dissatisfaction regarding the payment Asif received upon participating in the project. According to Syahmi, Asif was reportedly not happy with the payment despite the fact that Syahmi was the one who was willing to give financial assistance to Asif and his family.

As a respond to that, the “caretaker” – which was later revealed as Asif’s sister – took to Asif’s Instastory to clarify the whole situation. According to Siti Nur Atina Suhaimi, what exactly happened is not like what Syahmi had claimed online. She further added that there were still some payment owed by Syahmi.

She also claimed that she has no intention of taking Asif’s money away from him as well as using his popularity online in order to promote her business. She admitted to asking for Asif’s favour once, but she reassured that she managed to pay back the money.

However, it was later revealed by Siti Nur Atina that the conflict between both Syahmi and Asif was a result of misunderstanding. The 30-year-old claimed that she wanted to stand up for her younger brother’s rights.

In an interview with mStar, she explained the whole situation, “I was informed by my father that Asif has yet to receive any payment from Syahmi. That’s the only info I got from him. Logically, Asif is currently under my father’s responsibility, so he knows better about my brother’s income.”

“My father admitted that Asif received RM200 from Syahmi. The money was then given to my father for his savings. I don’t have to tell you more regarding where did the money go. Then I realised that my father’s the one responsible for twisting the story. All of the misunderstandings were caused by him,” she added.

Siti Nur Atina then took the initiative to apologise to both Syahmi as well as his wife, Anissa Faizul – or Nissa in short – for the trouble caused by her as well as Asif’s family.

As of writing (Tuesday, 3rd September 2019), the issue between the two has been officially resolved. In Syahmi’s latest Instastory post, he clarified that “no one is at fault, it’s just a misunderstanding involving a ‘two-faced’ person“.

Have you watched the drama “Hotel del Luna” (호텔 델루나) starring IU (아이유) & Yeo Jin Goo (여진구)? In case if you haven’t, the drama has already broadcasted its finale last Sunday (1st September).

Ever since Harry Styles declined the role of Prince Eric, the role for the titular character in Disney’s live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid” is still open.

Back in August, the 28-year-old actor expressed his interest to portray Prince Eric while promoting the 3rd season of Netflix’s “13 Reasons Why”. Not did he claimed to have some vocal chops but the star also reasoned that a Latino prince would be a perfect match to Halle Bailey‘s Black Ariel.

Thanks to the power of social media, Disney took notice and “gave my team a call.” As he put it, “They wanted to see what I could do.” Before ending his tweet, Navarro updated his fans, saying, “Tapes sent. Fingers crossed. Let’s make some history.”

Singer-actor Aliff Aziz recently made yet another headline. This time he shocked the entire nation for facing 2 theft charges in the Singapore court.

According to Berita Harian Singapura via MalayMail, Aliff was accused of stealing S$300 (RM909) as well as 1 million rupiahs (RM296) in cash from Indonesian actress Raja Yunika Perdhana Puteri.

The offence was allegedly committed between 12am to 3am on 7th June 2019 in a room located in Studio M Hotel at 3 Nanson Road, Singapore.

Additionally, the 28-year-old was also charged for stealing a box of cigarettes and a lighter worth SGD15.60 (RM47) from an individual known as Gurwinder Singh at a Starbucks cafe in Plaza Singapore. The 2nd incident was reportedly committed on 6th August 2019 at around 4:45 am.

However, Aliff was released on SGD$5,000 (RM15,000) bail. The court has set a hearing for the case which will take place next month, on 1st October 2019.

The controversial celebrity has gained notoriety by local fans following his series of extra-marital affairs with several women, which resulted to his divorce with singer Bella Astillah.

Oh goodness! Talk about baring it all – Theo James certainly left little to the imagination when it came to his recent role in “Sandition”.

For those that don’t know, “Sandition” is an ITV period drama based on unfinished novel (1817) by Jane Austen and adapted by Andrew Davies (who is known for highlighting sex and nudity in his TV period dramas).

“It’s the story of the spirited and unconventional Charlotte Heywood and her spiky relationship with the humorous, charming, and slightly wild, Sidney Parker. When a chance accident transports her from her rural hometown of Willingden to the would-be coastal resort of the eponymous title, it exposes Charlotte to the intrigues and dalliances of a seaside town on the make, and the characters whose fortunes depend on its commercial success.”

James, who plays the unpredictable Sidney Parker, surprised viewers (in a good way) when he showed off his toned torso and naked bum towards the screen. The demure Charlotte Heywood (played by Rose Morrison) was also startle by the bold move.

“If there’s going to be any nakedness, it must be there for a story purpose, after which it is effective. It is pretty pointless to have somebody whipping their package off for the sake of it, their sun-drenched our bodies quivering within the wind,” James was quoted as saying.

The British hunk continued, “But when it provides to the story, it may be enjoyable but additionally pure, and does not really feel shoehorned in for generated sexiness.”

The scene comes after the spicy 1st episode final week where it featured male nudity and intercourse within the woods.

In speaking with Telegraph UK, Anne Reid (who portrays Lady Denham) joked that it was Daniel Craig who started the trend. “It was Daniel Craig’s fault, coming out of the sea (in “Casino Royale”, 2006). It’s just a thing now: if you’ve got the sea and you’ve got a bloke, then he has to take his kit off and get in the water,” she said.

Recently, the “Boys Over Flowers” actress revealed the real reason for their divorce. It’s because the model-turned-actor was caught having an affair with another actress.

In her latest post on Instagram, the actress-film director addressed the issue on recent reports about Dispatch spilling about the text messages between the 2 since September 2018 up until the present day.

The translation of her caption of her Instagram post reads as follows:

“The results of the Dispatch forensics? I’ve changed my handphone three times in this year alone. 

The exact reason to why we are divorcing is because of Ahn Jae Hyun’s extramarital affair. A drama actress he is currently filming with and having an affair with came to our house so many times, I was confused and wondered if I could still trust him.

My heart aches upon realising that someone who was too busy to text or call me properly would always be smiling and laughing while sending KakaoTalk messages with that actress. So I still need some time to sort out my feelings.

(I have pictures from his computer during our marriage. The pictures show him eating late night snacks with the actress at a hotel, both wearing gowns. I’ll submit it to the court as evidence.)”

On 18th August 2019 (Sunday), the 34-year-old revealed through Instagram that both her and her former “Blood” co-star were reportedly in talks of divorcing. Additionally, she revealed to her followers about her plans on preserving the marriage. However, Ahn decided to not continue with the marriage.
