Bollywood hunk, Hrithik Roshan is back in action after going under the knife to remove a subdural haematoma last month after suffering an injury to the head while performing a stunt for an upcoming movie. The star, 39, said he was “doing absolutely fine” as he launched the trailer of his latest movie, Krrish 3.
“Even with a hole in my brain, my spirit bas been intact,” Hrithik commented in a news conference in Mumbai, making it his first official appearance since his surgery on July 7. “Life hits you hard. But it takes you three seconds to decide if you are a superhero or not. I am,” the Bollywood star added.
Hrithik Roshan has a huge fan following thanks to his on-screen ‘macho man’ persona suffered injuries to the head while shooting an action sequence for Bang Bang, an Indian remake of the Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz hit movie Knight And Day. Hrithik suffered headaches that were caused by subdural haematoma or a clot, often caused by internal bleeding in the brain due to a hard blow to the head. Hrithik underwent surgery like a champ with four weeks of rest causing a delay in the shooting schedule for Bang Bang.
The Krrish series gained a lot of success with the huge turnout at the box office. Little did we know that Krrish have been directed by Hrithik’s father, Rakesh Roshan, and is set to be released in November during Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights which is one of the country’s biggest celebration. Hrithik is a true superhero after all!
Hrithik Roshan was born into a family of cinema personalities having Rakesh Roshan, film director, and Pinky, daughter of producer and director, J. Om Prakash, as parents. Born in Mumbai, Hrithik has an elder sister, Sunaina and this hunk is not only good looking, he’s smart too! He attended Sydenham College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Commerce. Roshan is married to Suzanne (Khan) Roshan, the daughter of Sanjay Khan and the couple has two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhann.
