As most of you would’ve heard by now, the boys of GOT7 (갓세븐) are set to bring their headlining concert tour to our country this coming March.
Titled “Keep Spinning World Tour”, we can finally reveal the details to the much-anticipated K-pop event ever since the announcement came out last September.
According to the press release, the concert tour which kicked off in KSPO Dome in Seoul last year has been successfully held across various parts of the globe such as North America, Latin America, Europe, and Oceania. The award-winning band has begun its Asian leg in Manila, Philippines last October.
Consisting of 7 talented members – JB, Mark, Jinyoung, Jackson, Youngjae, Bambam and Yugyeom, they made their official debut back in January 2014 under JYP Entertainment. Their appearance will surely captivate iGOT7s (fandom name) who have been longing to see them perform in Malaysia. If y’all still remember, the last time they came here was for their “Flight Log: Turbulence” fan-meeting back in 2016.

Uh oh, things aren’t looking too good for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness“. Scott Derrickson, who directed the first “Doctor Strange” movie, won’t be returning to direct the sequel.
So what caused it? Variety reported that the 53-year-old and Marvel Studios have gone in separate directions. Despite no longer being the director, Derrickson will still serve as executive producer.

His lengthy statement reads:
“It is with heavy hearts and deepest regret, that we are now officially divorced. It was not an easy process to arrive at this decision. We tried our best, but after living apart for more than a year, we were unable to reconcile our differences. We do not wish for our dysfunctional relationship to set an unhealthy example for the children to emulate. No child deserves to grow up with the shameful stigma of seeing their parents portrayed in a negative light. We remain committed to doing what is best for our little ones, so they can one day become the best big ones they can be. No matter what, we will always love and cherish our Jonah and Molly! Seeing them smile makes all the heartbreak worthwhile.
“The downside of being ‘public figures’ is opening ourselves to ‘public opinion.’ As human beings, it is in our nature to judge, blame, or criticise others, based on our own limited perspectives. Rumours and speculation aside, only the 2 people in the actual relationship will really know the whole truth. There is no need to air our dirty laundry or slander each other’s character. In the end, that would only hurt the children more.”
“This announcement is being made as a courtesy to all of our family, friends and followers. We ask that you please respect our privacy at this challenging time. Thank you all for your Love and continued support,” the former Az Yet member concluded.

Today is a sad day for fans of popular fast food chain A&W Malaysia as it was announced recently that they will be shutting down its iconic franchise in Petaling Jaya.
CEO George Ang, who was in charge of addressing the unfortunate news, has confirmed that the famed retro-style drive-by outlet will be demolished this year.

It was reported that the decision to close the branch was to give way to other development projects. For those who don’t know, the fast food outlet, previously owned by Inter Mark Resources Sdn Bhd, is leasing the land from Kasmuncak Holdings Sdn Bhd.
“Since the deal was made before Inter Mark Resources bought over A&W, we are currently leasing the land from them, until they are ready to take over for their own development project,” Ang told Malay Mail. He further added that the drive-in chain will be operating for another six to eight months from now.

International K-fans have flocked in the comments section to show their undying support towards the bombshell for coming out. However, it’s believed that the news about her has not been made public by any local news outlet at the time of writing (Monday, 13th January).
Therefore, many fans have been showing their concerns that Jiae will be heavily criticised by Korean netizens for her queerness, since the topic is highly considered as taboo among the conservative society.
For those who don’t know, Jiae made her official debut as a member of the now-defunct girl band back in 2013. The group disbanded last year, with their final album “Colour TV” being released back in April 2017.

During the show, BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) member Lisa made an appearance in a special VCR clip, revealing that the boys have came out with a delightful surprise for local Inner Circles (as fans are lovingly called). After hyping up the crowd, she asked everyone to count until 3 together with her.

Following Lisa’s segment, the music began playing the beat that everyone is familiar with. The 4 members of the band – Mino, Hoony, Jinu and Yoon then appeared on stage with their take on BLACKPINK’s iconic hit “DDu Du DDu Du”.
Not only that, they also introduced themselves as WINPINK, with the members channelling their inner girl group alter egos – Mino referred to himself as Minnie (name play on original member Jennie), Hoony as Leesa/Heesa (Lisa), Jinu as Jinsoo (Jisoo) while Yoon took on the role as Yoonsé (Rosé).

Aliff Aziz is kicking off the new year with yet another controversy.
Recently, the 29-year-old has found himself in hot water when a video of him getting involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown individual made its way online.
Things took an intense turn when the “Sayang Sayang” singer began to unzip his pants to reveal his penis, while saying, “You want to find me? I’m Aliff Aziz la. Hey Jiq (name of alleged person), suck my d*ck.” He continued by asking the individual to call his boss, and even challenged them to a fight.
Prior to that, he also caused a scene by messing the arrangement of the chairs and uttered curse words to the person. The incident allegedly took place outside a food stall located in Singapore. At the end of the video, the father-of-one was seen threatening the person behind the camera as he was being recorded.

According to an exclusive reports by Sportbiz News, the event was held at a cathedral, with only family members in attendance. The local media outlet further added that the EXO member’s girlfriend is currently seven months pregnant with their baby boy.
In response, Chen’s home label SM Entertainment has came out with an official statement to shut down all the false allegations. “The reports that Chen held a wedding at a Catholic church on the 13th are untrue. The wedding ceremony and everything related to the wedding will be done privately. The schedule for the event will not be revealed,” the entertainment agency clarified.
