The world lost a gem today. Im sorry that I was unable to be there for you man. You were my day 1 when I started swimming and you always will be. I’ll miss you and ill always remember you. It was a pleasure to swim alongside you, to be with you and most importantly to be your brother. Love you bro❤

Many friends took to Instagram to recall how they first met and bonded over the years. “We hang out, we talk, we laugh, what we’ve done will always (remain) in my mind. Appreciate that I have a really good friend, chaser and teammate. I hope that in the next life you can be my best friend again,” Darren wrote.

Once we went fishing, w just talking about our future, our path, our future journey, our future retiring plan. But at the same time, not forgetting to meet each other again,” shared another, before recalling how they enjoyed lunch time over coffee and talk about making plans for another fishing trip again.

Another close friend by the name of Janet Lee also dedicated a lengthy post to Ayrton. She recalled how the hunky swimmer had always been thoughtful throughout the years. The female friend also remembered when Ayrton visited Aeon mall for the first time.

She went on to list down some of their memories together – Ayrton’s internship, his relationship with his younger brother Ryan, his love for horror movies, and how he resembles American actor Cole Sprouse (spoiler: it’s the hair).

Dedicating this post to a friend that I could never ask more for, a friend that is so understanding, a friend that accepts me for who I am, Ayrton Lim Ling Ten. — Ayrton : They took us to Aeon Mall jn Me : Ur first time rite? Ayrton : Yea. How did u know? Me : HAHAHHA u told me before leh Ayrton : I did?? U remember ah? Me : Yea hahaha Ayrton : Sometimes small things like this means so much, like remembering random stuff about someone. — Yes, indeed. All these little things matter. Like how u remembered that math is my fav sub, when u told me that you’re the first in 10 batch to get promoted to sales and marketing during ur internship, when u broke ur personal record in training, when u bought a new phone and brought it to school to show off and there’s spot check, when u told me how the pimple at ur eyelid hurts so bad, when u thought my bday was 26 oct and called me to wish me and texted me after that saying how u read ur calendar wrongly, when u told me how much u miss ur baby bro Ryan when u weren’t in kch and how he was annoyed when u kissed and hugged him, when u mistaken dots for legends of the blue sea. — I’ll never get to see ur cole sprouse hair that you wanted to try || when u told me u played the guitar 😱 || when u told me u watched alone cuz I couldn’t make it — Thanks for constantly asking me how I’m doing and how I’m coping with my studies, asking me not to sleep so much and study more, encouraging me to listen to myself always, giving me ur reference book, calling me ur horror movie partner, and asking me out for movies but I only make it 2/10 times. 😌 I’ve always thank God for you, and I’ll always remember you.

Interview: Nicole Scherzinger Was Surprised To See This Celebrity On “Celebrity: X-Factor”

Nicole Scherzinger is no stranger to the “X-Factor” UK family. This year, she’s back on the judging panel with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh for “Celebrity: X-Factor”.

The former Pussycat Doll lead singer first joined the reality-singing competition in 2012 where she mentored the boys category. Her act James Arthur went on to win the show. She has since been on “X-Factor” UK for four seasons.

Check out the exclusive interview with here below:

How did Simon convince you to come back?

I’ve been a part of The X Factor family for many years now and honestly, I love the UK so much. They’ve always been so good to me, Great Britain is my second home. So, Simon called me personally and that always means a lot. We had a few discussions about what was going to happen and that was it really. I didn’t have any concerns about coming back, it’s in my blood to do this. I feel like I’m really good at this. Simon really wanted me back, so we made a pact and we made it work.

Where you pleased when you heard Louis was back?

There’s no one else that I would have wanted back more. I love him, he’s always been there for me. He is the best at what he does, so rightfully so, he should be there.

Simon seems to really trust you both…

Oh, you have to have that trust. I think he goes back to us each time because he knows that he can trust us, we’re family.

What did you think when you found out it was a celebrity version of the show this year?

I love that. Obviously it’s a lot shorter, which is the difference between The X Factor: Celebrity and the ones in the past. This one doesn’t have boot camp and all that jazz, and I loved that we just cut straight to the chase. I was really excited to see who the celebrities were going to be.

Was there anyone who you were really surprised they were doing it?

Martin Bashir. He’s my biggest surprise. We’re used to seeing him interview people like Princess Diana. He’s the kind of person people are not used to seeing in this light, and the way he spoke about why he did it, his voice and his performance, he was the biggest surprise to me, for sure.

What was it like doing the auditions in Simon’s garden in Malibu?

It was really cool. It was unlike anything I’ve ever done before, and I don’t think Simon’s ever done anything like that before, at least not on that scale. I know he did judges’ houses there last year but that was small compared to this! It was amazing, because here we are in his beautiful home, right there in Malibu, the setting couldn’t be any more divine. We had tables filled with people, most of them were my peers and my mentors. These were the biggest heavy hitters in the industry. And so when I was there, I felt even more at home, because I saw them and realised, “My friends are here!” But at the same time, I felt a little bit of pressure as next I thought, “Wow, my mentors are here as well.” It made us up our game. I just thought it was a brilliant idea.

Did it increase the pressure for the celebs?

I told one of my friends, “I would not want to be auditioning in front of these people!” These were some of the biggest names in the industry, billions of record sales and they are judging! I was fortunate, because a lot of them are my friends, David Forster, Diane Warren, Tricky Steward and Dallas Austin. I won’t say who, but yeah, they had their say in who their favourites were!

Are we going to see you as competitive as always?

Oh always! You can’t take that out of me! I’m just going to be very supportive. This year I think the way Simon has done it is that we help them and support them. In the past when I did it, I was quite hands-on and did a lot. But I’m ready to see what they are going to bring to this show.

What are you looking forward to about the live shows?

The performances, that’s my favourite part. You know how much fun I have when I’m so affected by the music and the performances. It gets me riled up. I think it’s going to be really fun and interesting.

The British fans are looking forward to having you back…

Oh, that’s really sweet. I can’t take for granted whatever is out there. That’s another reason – when Simon asked me to do this show, I realised how much I miss the UK. It’ll be great to be back. It’s so funny, because all my friends think I’m pretty much an adopted Brit, because every time they’re in London they’re like, “We’re in London! Where are you?” I’m like, “Guys, I’m in LA.” They normally just assume that I live there all the time. So, it’ll be great to go back and spend some time there.

The stakes are higher with “Celebrity X-Factor”. The “X-Factor” used to be staple viewing but after more than a decade, people have grown tired of it. This is why Simon Cowell decided to do a soft reboot.

The auditions have already come and gone. Soon, it’ll be the live shows. Would these celebrity contestants be able to find success once the show is over? Time will tell. But in the meantime, here’s what the 60-year-old music mogul has to say about his fellow judges – Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger – as well as the talents.

@TheXFactor live shows are back #XFactor

A post shared by @ simoncowell on

<>

Why did you decide to change up the normal version of the show and do a celebrity one instead?

It just felt so obvious to do a celebrity version. The only condition was I couldn’t know who was going to be on it. I said to the team, “You’ve got to find some acts who you believe can sell records off the back of this, because if you don’t do that it won’t work.” So that was the deal and we stuck to it. I swear to God I didn’t have a clue who any of the acts were. I did walk away thinking, “If we’re smart, we have artists here who could actually sell records off the back of this”. So I thought that was fun and very exciting for the show.

They do say a change is as good as a rest…!

Exactly! I think change in any aspect is good, but I was saying to someone the other day, “I’ve signed Westlife, I’ve signed Five, El Divo, One Direction, Little Mix. They’re all groups, but they’re all different.” Sometimes you’ve got to take a break of at least a year, two years between signing one kind of group and then launching another. And it’s the same with The X Factor. You can’t just keep making the same show that it was 14 years ago and expect it to be the same show today. You’ve got to take a step back for a little while.

Do you think Louis is different this time around?

I do. Apart from anything else, you have got to remember Louis was a manager when I first met him. So we’ve worked together on a lot of acts that he’s managed. I’ve never, really ever had a disagreement with Louis over an artist or a decision or anything else. We’ve worked as friends. We’re genuinely friends and that was part of the decision to have him on the show again this year. It wasn’t just the fact that he’s been on the show, it’s just that it reminded me, unlike other people, that managers can be great friends as well. Louis is a great guy. He’s a great friend. He’s gone away and has taken that time to remember what makes him tick, and that’s music.

How did it feel sitting with Louis and Nicole again?

Sitting with the two of them was like we picked it up five minutes ago. I think Nicole is great because the funny thing is everyone thinks that she’s super confident, but she’s not. She’s an incredibly dignified person. The thing with her as well is she’ll speak directly to the team rather than going through the press. It’s so rare to find that now, a million percent, she’s special.

How did it feel filming the auditions at your house?

When we filmed it that night it didn’t feel like work. I loved every second of it. I said to the producers, “If this really doesn’t work, we will have to re-audition for the show. That’s the deal.” So the fact that I felt we didn’t need to was just great. I found it interesting and fun, and doing this version of the show has also given me the chance to do All Stars. I’ve wanted to make the best of the best version of The X Factor for a long, long time. It’s been brilliant. I’ve loved every minute.

What did you think of the celebs when you first met them?

I tell you what, I was really surprised and happy about how much they cared about being on the show. With the celebrities, they really wanted it, I felt that if they bring that energy to the show and hopefully we can do our job, which is to help them make some great records, you know, we’ve got some really good artists on our hands.

“Celebrity X-Factor” airs on Sundays 7:55 pm only on Blue Ant Entertainment (Unifi TV Ch 473).

The ink is back on, as Malaysia’s largest international tattoo expo is back at it again this November in Kuala Lumpur Convention centre.

Ryan Reynolds Reacts To “Joker” Breaking “Deadpool” Record

It’s official, the “Joker” movie has become the highest grossing R-rated film of all time, and it took no time for fellow Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds to respond.

The critically acclaim film, “Joker, was launch earlier this month and upon the release has garnered serious praise from fans which lead to the film earning a cool $788 million. This meant that the movie beat out former record holder movie, “Deadpool”, as the highest earning R-rated movie, and Mr Deadpool himself took notice.

This lead to a hilarious response from the 43-year-old actor, who took to social media to congratulating Todd Philip’s film, and at the same time, took a dig at it.

In the picture posted by the “Detective Pikachu” star, he added the words “You MotherF**cker” over the Phoenix, who done up the Joker character costume of the film. Along the steps of the, now iconic, stairs shows a series of names of other acclaim R-rated films characters.

In the post the Canadian have also added, R-Rated box office congratulatory posts aren’t like the ones you’re used to…” As a nod to the risqué humor displayed by the “Joker” characters and his own in “Deadpool.”

This, however, was not the first time the “RIPD” star has pull this kind of prank and it will certainly not be the last. Reynolds is infamous for his risqué humour and social media antics.

Who doesn’t love his ongoing troll war with fellow comic book star Hugh Jackman? Check out their latest feud here.

Review: Cha Eunwoo Surprised Malaysian Fans With Malay Song Cover

Fans of rising K-pop star Cha Eunwoo (차은우) gathered at PGRM Tower, Cheras on Sunday evening for his debut solo fan-meeting “Just One 10 Minute” in Malaysia.

Despite the unwelcoming weather during the day, many AROHAs (fans of Cha Eunwoo and his band Astro) showed undying support by arriving to the venue as early as 12pm. And by 5pm, die-hard fans have filled in of the Dewan Wawasan hall, with some of them bringing along several cute banners and light sticks in support of their favourite K-Pop act.

After everyone was settled down to their seats, the lights went out to play the introduction video. The 22-year-old soon appeared on stage dressed as his Yi Rim character in the TV series “Rookie Historian Goo Haeryung” – wearing a traditional South Korean hanbok complete with its signature headpiece – and opened the show with the drama’s original soundtrack called “Please Remember”. After a nice appetiser to kick off the event, he exited the stage as the emcee came out to officially begin the night.

After hyping up the crowd, the emcee finally officially introduced the star of the evening; none other than Cha Eunwoo himself! He was asked about his feelings on being here in Malaysia without his fellow Astro brothers. He responded by saying, “It feels quite empty and lonely, but seeing everyone here have helped to make all the nervousness disappear.” For those who don’t know, Kuala Lumpur was the last stop for his solo “Just One 10 Minute” show, after successfully wrapping his tours in Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok and Manila earlier this month.

Without wasting any moment, the event proceeded with the first segment of the night called “Challenge: CHA!pago”, which took place in the style of a survival game show, complete with a large bell prop set on stage. Eunwoo and the emcee glanced at the screen which showed a few sets of trivial questions about his drama “Rookie Historian Goo Haeryung”.

Amongst the Q&A session, Eunwoo also managed swooned his fans with an iconic line taken from the Netflix TV series. A surprise in the form of a lucky draw was then announced; with 4 lucky fans winning autographed polaroids of himself as well as the red cap he was wearing during the segment.

Then came the 2nd session; “C.M.I” – which stands for “Cha Eunwoo Much Information”. Named after the popular slang T.M.I (Too Much Information), the segment unveiled everyday lives as well as never-before-seen footages of the rising Korean star, captured by his manager without his knowing.

To add in the kick in the session, the emcee came out with a set of quiz for Eunwoo where he had to guess the item based on the situation given on the screen. “This segment is always difficult for me,” he jokingly commented and proceeded to ask fellow fans for help. The loud cheer of AROHAs was enough to bring the house down during the whole session.

Cha Eunwoo

The emcee then continued by asking what songs has he listen to recently. In this case, Eunwoo responded by saying, “I always listened to old songs, for example I’ve listened to Pinocchio’s “Between Love and Friendship”. In addition, he added that he feels “comfortable when listening to music.”

He was also asked about the colour that describes his personality. According to the star himself, he personally felt that blue suits him the most. We couldn’t agree more. We believe the colour really goes well with his cool and easy-going character in person.

So, what colour does he think suits our country the most? “Maybe sky blue, because the city reminds me of warm and calm colour of the sky,” Eunwoo told the MC. He also noted that Malaysia has a lot of tourist attractions, which in turn received loud reactions from fans. The crowd also suggested a few things he could try during his visit in our country.

After completing the 2nd segment, Cha Eunwoo excused himself off stage in order to prepare himself for the next session. After a few moments, he appeared again on stage and went straight to the piano. He performed a cover of Justin Bieber’s hit song “Love Yourself”. “You know this song, right? Then let’s sing it together,” Eunwoo asked the fans to sing-along with the lyrics.

In addition, he also surprised local AROHAs with a cover performance of a Malay language song called “Sampai Ke Hari Tua” which was originally performed by Aizat Amdan! He managed to wow the crowd with the flawless performance of the acoustic-driven song. According to Eunwoo, he prepared the song while thinking of how to make AROHAs happy during the fan-meeting. It was delightful to see everyone enjoying the special stage.

The 3rd session was named “Mission: Cha!possible”, making use of his athletic skills. During the segment, he was challenged to play a set of basketball shooting game as well as a game of archery. Despite a few glitches here and there during the game, fans still managed to receive gifts via the lucky draw.

The games was followed by the last segment, which was called “Made By Cha Eunwoo”. During the session, Eunwoo sat down on the chair and decorated a special hand-made buchae (Korean traditional fan) for lucky draw winners. He also didn’t missed the chance to interact with AROHAs along the session.

For example, he showed off his skills in speaking Malay languages such as “Aku cinta padamu” (I love you), “Sayang” (Honey) and also “Terima Kasih” (Thank you). He even sang along to his band (ASTRO) songs that was used as the background music. The segment was concluded with the lucky draw giveaway.

At the end of the “Made By Cha Eunwoo” segment, the emcee told everyone that the fan-meeting had come to an end. It was clear that everyone wanted more of Cha Eunwoo. However, Eunwoo was told that fans had prepared a special video for him. The lights in the arena were dimmed, as the entertainer turned around to face the big screen.

A video that included clips of the pop star from his fresh pre-debut days all the way up to his current works was played, making everyone there extremely touched. However a lovely twist came in the form of the video asking him to turn around and face the fans. The whole arena was holding up hand banners with warm messages dedicated specially for him.

Cha Eunwoo

Eunwoo’s face was filled with gratitude as he expressed his happy feelings towards each and everyone of his fans who came to his show that evening. “I really didn’t expect this. Wow! Thanks for the banner,” he said right after the special video ended. He even jokingly reacted to the words of the fan-made banner by saying, “International. Global” – referring to the instructions written on the rectangular paper that contains 4 different languages.

“Thank you so much for coming today, I will go back to Korea and promise to you guys that I’ll continue to show various sides of me – as both a member of Astro and also as actor Cha Eunwoo,” he said to his fans.

After his heartwarming speech, the arena turned dark as he prepared to perform his next song. A few moments later, Eunwoo came out and started to sing “Rainbow Falling”, an original soundtrack from his hit TV show “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty”. His eyes shined as he sang each lyric to the songs whole-heartedly.

Just when we thought the show was over, everyone started to shout “Encore!” – demanding Eunwoo to comeback on stage. After a countdown video was played on the screen, fans were surprised with a short clip of Eunwoo with his signature handsome visual looks, enough to leave the fans screaming in awe. After that, Eunwoo returned to perform one last song as a gift to his fans titled “You And Me”. And with that, the fan-meeting was over.

However fans weren’t as upset, since this just meant that the real highlight of the night was upon them; the meet and greet session with Eunwoo himself! Fans made orderly lines according to the sections they were in, as they anxiously waited for their turns for the chance to meet eye-to-eye with the heartthrob. Despite it being a quick session, it was indeed a once in a lifetime opportunity that any K-fans would kill for.

Overall, Cha Eunwoo’s “Just One 10 Minute” fan-meeting went extremely well. We felt that the whole 3 hours spent with the star just went by too fast. We can’t wait for his next visit soon. We sincerely hope he will bring the ASTRO members here next time!

In celebration of 2 decades in the music business, Chen will be taking fans down memory lane. Since her debut in 1998, the 44-year-old singer has churn out 7 studio albums. The latest LP, “Sofa Sea” (沙發海) came out just before Christmas last year.

Earlier in May, she dropped a surprise announcement, saying that she and Taiwanese music producer Tiger Chung have broken up after being together for 18 years. For the uninitiated, they are also in the band called The Verse.

For some people, (the next stage) is marriage. Two years ago, we chose a better alternative for our relationship and became friends. Even if we’re not lovers anymore, in the future, we’ll always be close friends and colleagues who have the best chemistry. As each other’s eternal supporter, we wish the other well, and will never lose sight of the other. (These) 18 years have never caused us to question love. On the contrary, we’re more willing to love and be loved. (Only when) you know how to love someone, can you be a lover,” they said in a statement.

The details to Cheer Chen’s Live in Malaysia concert are as follows:

  • Venue: Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting

Lindsay Lohan Was Joking When She Threw Shade At Cody Simpson & Miley Cyrus

Lindsay Lohan recently found herself in some controversy when she threw some shade at new couple Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus.

Having said that, she’s now backtracking, saying it was all a joke. In speaking to TMZ, the reality star insists that there is no bad blood between her and Cody, or Miley.

Source: Metro UK

Last week, the “Masked Singer Australia” judge posted a throwback photo of the Australian singer with her little sister, Ali. She captioned the picture, “When you realise you failed. And you settle for less @codysimpson. Family is everything you won the masked singer but you lost on your future.”

Oh snap!

Lindsay later deleted the post. She later claim that it was a mere “inside joke” and “I’ve always loved Miley Cyrus. Cody is a great guy. I think, you know what, he and her look happier together than ever and I think that’s the most important thing, is being happy.”

For those that don’t know, Cody and Ali dated for a year back when he was living in a beach shack in Venice in California.

Was it a joke though? Or is Lilo trying to cover up?

Interview: Sung Hoon On “I Live Alone”, K-pop Boy Bands & Learning English

Sung Hoon (성훈) has made his long-anticipated comeback in Malaysia to celebrate Oh!K TV channel’s 5th anniversary together with local K-fans last weekend.

For those who don’t know, the last time the 36-year-old ever stepped his foot in Malaysia was almost 2 years ago – when he visited our country for a special “Korea Drama Night” event held in KLCC back in October 2017.

Source: Oh!K TV Facebook

Prior to his meet-and-greet session with his fans that evening, we managed to get up close and personal with the “Level Up!” actor in an exclusive interview, where he shared with us his excitement on coming back here and meeting all his Malaysian fans, his stint in “I Live Alone” and more.

How do you feel knowing that a lot of fans here have been waiting for you to come back to Malaysia?

Malaysia is not a country that I can come to often. It took me 2 years to be back. I’m very grateful upon knowing that fans here are very supportive. And for me, Malaysia is a very familiar country for me in terms of the country’s image.

What do you look forward to do while in Malaysia?

To interact and have fun with all my fans during the fan-meeting.

What drew you to “I Live Alone”?

When I first appeared in the show, I didn’t think much about it. Every Monday, I’ll go the studio to shoot. Now, there’s a sense of responsibility that I’m appearing in the show as one of the regular characters. So I’m just trying to ease my mind (as the show goes).

Has you life changed in any way after being apart of “I Live Alone”?

Well, I have a lot more schedules outside being apart of a TV drama.

What’s the biggest thing you’ve learned from appearing in “I Live Alone”?

What I’ve learned the most is to have an ease of mind.

What are some of the most embarrassing moments in the show and what stands out the most?

I feel embarrassed all the time when I’m in the studio to shoot. I never thought that I’m a person who can be mocked easily. I was made fun by the people on set almost all the time. That’s what I realised after being on the show.

Besides acting and appearing in dramas and variety shows, you’ve also participated in singing for original soundtracks for your TV series, right? So, if you have to choose, which one is more harder – singing or acting?

In terms of singing, there are no difficulties to talk about because it’s not my place to comment whether (singing) is easy or hard. It’s beyond my concept to decide since my main scope is acting. As for acting, it has been hard and I believe it will be continue to be harder in the future.

You’ve appeared in both TV and also film. If you had to choose, which one do you prefer more?

I don’t have any preference in terms of platforms. As long as it’s a good project, it doesn’t really matter to me whether it’s a movie or a drama series. But, just to think about the under-aged audience, it would be better for me to appear in movies, since it can reached more people.

Do you still have to go through auditions? And if so what has been the toughest one so far and how did you overcome it?

It used to be awkward for me when I first looked into the camera. Personally, I still believe it’s good to go for auditions. Because appearing in audition is important to find the right and suitable person to match with a specific character.

Source: star1

What’s next for you career wise?

At the moment, there are no specific details on the project that I will take part in. But early next year I’ll be appearing in a TV drama. It might take some time but currently, I’ll be continuing to make appearance on TV shows as well as attending other scheduled activities. In addition, I’m currently studying English.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

I’m not really sure! (laughs) Because we would’t know what will happen in the future. I might be continuing my journey as an actor, or maybe I might be participating in doing something else.

Source: Oh!K TV

K-pop music is quite huge here in Malaysia. We were wondering, if you could be in an idol boy band right now, which one would it be? Why?

The answer is absolutely NO (laughs). It’ll be terrible! I’ve never thought of joining (any K-pop group) in the first place.

Okay, no boy bands then. How about a message to your Malaysian fans?

As mentioned earlier, it took me 2 years for me to come back and greet all of you. It’s not that we have the chance to meet up often, so I’m very honoured and I feel that it’s a valuable opportunity for this time to see my fans here. And I’ll make sure that we will have a lot of fun during the fan-meeting. I’ll look forward to meeting up again in the future. Lastly, I’m gonna live my life fully so you should live yours fully too.

“I Live Alone” is currently airing every Sundays at 10:55pm on Oh!K TV (Astro channel 394).

Famous celebrities aren’t the only ones having to deal with body-shaming comments online, even real people have to face netizens’ harsh words about their appearance as well.

Recently, in an interview with “Malaysia Hari Ini”, social media influencer Azfar Firdaus (known online as @Azfarovski) took the opportunity to give his two cents on the ongoing topic about cyber-bullying and also body-shaming.

Source: TV3

Azfar, along with 2 other guests – fellow influencer Shazwan Zafran (@IbnuShazwan) and actress-comedian Zulin Aziz – were invited to the local talk show to discuss about the issue called “Body-shaming Tak Kelakar (Body-shaming is not funny)”.

For those who don’t know, Azfar has been receiving constant criticism and made fun of by local trolls for his distinct appearance due to his albinism disease. Shazwan is popular among internet users for posting shirtless selfies and also for his recent viral clip – a 25-seconds video showing his buff body with six-pack abs.

The interesting part of the whole session was when the model-activist revealed that Shazwan had actually made fun of him in the past. In this case, Shazwan posted a tweet back in August last year where he tagged Azfar in a news by Astro Awani about an African albino teenager being slaughtered for ritual purposes.

During the chat, Azfar appeared to have recalled about the post made by the 22-year-old. “So, the thing about body-shaming, most people didn’t realise that they feel like their fingers (typing) are invincible. But we don’t know whether if we will be dealing with those who have bullied us in real life. Just like this case,” said Azfar while referring to his case with Shazwan.

The 1-minute and 23-seconds clip shared by a user known as @burhan_plays caught the attention of netizens who defended Azfar for standing up for his rights against his former bully. On the other hand, some also criticised him for being unprofessional on live television.

As of today (29th October), the video has received over 1.7 million views on Twitter. Check out some of their reactions below:

We hope that all the commotion happening between them can be used as a lesson for everyone on how to use social media platforms wisely in the future.

No comments have been made by the CW and Warner Bros. Television about the arrest, with the actor still set to finish up the final season of the popular series, “Supernatural”. However, a source told TVLine that the actor’s arrest will have no impact over the show’s production schedule.

Padalecki has played the character Sam Winchester, in the long running series “Supernatural” and the series is set to finish in the upcoming 15th season. The star also recently landed a starting role in the upcoming “Walker, Texas Ranger” reboot but we don’t know how this arrest will affect that decision.

People would do anything in order to earn extra cash don’t they? JJ Lin (林俊杰) has found himself in a similar situation to Karen Mok (莫文蔚).

Last month, a hotel tried to auctioned off Mok’s used sheets and towels. This time around, some nurses had reportedly put Lin’s drip bag for sale online.

Shortly after the Singaporean Mandopop singer pulled off his 58th show of his “Another Sanctuary 2.0” concert world tour at Zhen Jiang city in China this past weekend, it was revealed that he was admitted to Zhenjiang First People’s Hospital. He ended up staying for a night due to his flu.

Following his discharge, a number of women in medical uniform visited the room he stayed in. The female staffs were seen taking turns to lie on the bed that JJ Lin had supposedly slept in. The photos and videos taken even made its way online.

That’s not all! One of the hospital staff even when as far as to allegedly sell JJ Lin’s used IV drip bag and needle online. Unsurprisingly, the items were quickly snapped up by a fan. Many netizens have expressed their disgust at the invasion of privacy and the violation towards health and safety standards.

Lin’s agency, JFJ Productions, has released a statement, saying that they deeply regret the leaking of information by staffs who lacked professional ethics. However they are confident that Zhenjiang First People’s Hospital will handle the incident appropriately.

According to reports, the aforementioned hospital has already posted on Weibo that the people responsible have been “suspended and would be dealt with soon” and will be “enforcing professional discipline among its staff members”. Further investigation is also being carried out.

JJ Lin and Karen Mok are the first pop stars to face such unprofessional behaviour though. AsiaOne reported that “a pair of chopsticks used by Canadian-Chinese singer Kris Wu and wet wipes used by actress Angelababy” were previously sold online as well.

K-pop Boyband D-Crunch’s Concert Cancelled Following Gay Allegations

K-pop rookie group D-Crunch (디크런치) was initially scheduled to perform at the Korea-Kuwait Diplomatic Relations’ 40th anniversary concert on Sunday (27th October).

However, the organiser decided to pull them out of the concert at the 11th hour. There was no official statement. But it was highly speculated that the cancellation of their appearance was due reports that the members are gay. This was deemed unsuitable and against the public’s standard morals.

Source: KCRUSH

The band members came on stage to apologise to all their fans for not being able to perform. “Sorry for not showing you our performances. We will come back soon. We will see you again! Thank you so much, everyone,” said one of the members of the 9-member boy band.

Some of the boys were also seen having difficulty holding back their tears, as all of them looked very shocked and very puzzled upon receiving this disheartening news. According to Gulf News, local TV personality Yousef Al Saleh recalled the whole incident by saying, “You can tell that D-Crunch was physically upset and devastated.”

He also added that the concert was supposed to be a free event for all K-fans to enjoy modern and traditional Korean music. In addition, there was no specific reason on the cancellation, but to quote Koreaboo, it looked like “most authorities wanted to forget what had happened”.

Asian Junkie reported that Kuwaitian online media outlet Al Majliss published a clip of the group at the airport. The publication further stated that “a number of sources suggest that the ban took place after several of the band members appeared in circumstances against public morals of Al Kuwait during their previous performances and songs.”

Additionally, words also started to spread that the band members are homosexual or appeared to be gay. As reported by local news Foochia.com, Kuwaitian citizens have been referring to them as gays. This leads to inaccurate information given to the Minister of Mass Media and Information.

Despite being overwhelmed with disappointment following the rumours as well as the cancellation of the event, D-Crunch still managed to express their gratitude by thanking all the fans and people of Kuwait for their warm hospitality. They also added that they will comeback soon to meet their fans again.

Malaysia’s Xing Fu Tang Outlet Vandalised After Operator’s Dispute

The recent bubble tea craze has certainly taken Malaysia and the world by storm. Everywhere we go, we seem to see a new bubble tea brand that we never heard of. This just proves how much we Malaysians love our boba tea drinks.

So imagine our surprise when two of Xing Fu Tang outlets in the Klang Valley area that were recently assaulted with red paint. Is someone hating on the franchise now?

Source: Facebook

The incident occurred on the 17th and 26th October. The motive and the culprit behind the attacks remain unclear. But many have speculated that the incident might have something to do with the ongoing dispute between the Malaysian operator and the parent company in Taiwan.

The conflict was in regards to the local franchise holder’s refusal to purchase RM4.5million worth of new manufacturing equipment from the Taiwanese headquarters. Thus, resulting in Xin Fu Tang, International CEO, threatening to terminate the master franchise agreement held by the Malaysia franchise holders.

Source: Facebook

Xing Fu Tang Malaysia then took the dispute online, by posting all the details of the dispute on their Facebook page. The post listed out multiple unreasonable demands made by the Taiwanese company, which includes a demand for purchases of machines deemed overpriced by the local agent.

The post also included an incident where the Taiwanese company took to their own Facebook page to announce that they have been seeking new partners in Malaysia despite the contract held by the current holders. However, none of these accusations made by Xing Fu Tang Malaysia can be confirm at this time.

Source: Facebook

Despite what happened, the local branch has assure fans that their stores will continue to operate as usual. The operators have already summited a report and CCTV footages to the authorities for further investigations.

Hopefully Xing Fu Tang would be able to settle their dispute soon and the criminals of the vandalism act will be brought to justice so that such incidents won’t happen again.

Kris Wu Opens Up About The Struggles He Had As EXO Member

Kris Wu (吴亦凡) has been enjoying his solo career in China ever since leaving his former group EXO back in 2014.

The 29-year-old rapper recently had an interview with Vlad TV’s DJ Vlad. During the session, he spilled the deets on his early life, his past dream of becoming a pro-basketball player as well as his days as a member of the popular K-pop group.

Source: Twitter

When asked about his childhood days, the Guangzhou-born star open up by saying that his parents were separated since he was a baby. He also added that he never heard from his father ever since their divorce. Both Kris and her mom then migrated to Vancouver, Canada about 10 years later.

“I feel like, I’m just used to it…I’m quite independent. And being with my mom made me more mature and I was able to take things on my own. So, I think it’s actually not a bad thing for me,” said Kris, recalling his younger days. He then continued by saying, “I think it’s definitely one of the reasons why I could be here today, where I’m at because I’ve been very independent through my childhood.”

Kris also shared that he got into hip-hop music thanks to his love to basketball. “After I moved out, I started playing basketball. And Allen Iverson obviously was huge at that time,” the “November Rain” shared, before adding, “A lot of times when I’m watching NBA, hip-hop music will come on. So, I just started doing a lot of research and started searching online – trying to get something to download on my mp3 music player.”

Source: KStarLive

Additionally, Kris talked about how he almost reached his dreams of becoming a professional basketball player. “I got pretty close at one point, because I was playing for the provincial team in British Columbia. I felt like I had a shot at it. But I don’t know why, my mom wasn’t being supportive at all when it comes to basketball,” he added during the chat.

Kris then recalled back to the time when he was 18, when he decided to attend the SM Global Audition held in Vancouver back in 2008. “China has a big market and they had a vision, they wanted their band to be performing and be active in China and all over China. So they wanted me to be in the group,” he shared.

The pop star further shared that he was open to a lot of experience during his short stint in the award-winning boy band. “I feel like it’s more of an experience. I definitely appreciate all the stuff, I feel like there’s good times and there’s the hard times. But I treasure every moment,” Kris said, before adding, “I feel that without that (debuting in EXO), I would never be able to be who I am today. So, it’s just part of my life that I take with me and move forward.”

Besides all the treasured moments he had with all his former members, he dished on some of the setbacks he came across as a K-pop idol. “One of the biggest problems I had was, first of all, all the schedules were super intense and I had no freedom whatsoever. And second, I guess, the thing that bothered me the most is that I had no freedom creatively. I couldn’t do the type of music that I wanted to do,” he revealed.

It is safe to say that luck was on Kris’ side after leaving EXO and also SM Entertainment. He finally got the chance to explore different ventures back in his mainland China. Aside from starring in movie roles such as “Mr. Six” (2015)  and also “Journey To The West: The Demon Strikes Back” (2017), he was able to pursue his own style of music afterwards.

“During the time when I got back, the film industry was blowing up…a lot of opportunities came in…so that’s how I got on board with the acting career and did a lot of movies at that time… I did put out singles now and then to let my fans know I’m still doing music,” Kris further added.
