Joji, BLACKPINK, & More: New Music Releases You Need To Hear Right Now

February may be the shortest month, but there was no shortage of new music. BLACKPINK returned with the much-anticipated “Deadline”, Charli XCX dropped a soundtrack to “Wuthering Heights” that’s worth listening to regardless of your feelings on the flick, and Bruno Mars released the expectedly great “The Romantic”. As new albums and singles get constantly flooded into our radar, look no further than skimming through the releases of the month.

From legacy acts to long-awaited returns – if you’re wondering which songs we had on loop this February, keep scrolling.

“The Mountain”, Gorillaz

Gorillaz’s release of their ninth album, “The Mountain”, takes in Latin, Arabic, and Eastern influences, having been recorded in locations such as London, Devon, and India. The album features guest appearances from the likes of Bobby Womack, IDLES, Mark E. Smith, Johnny Marr, Anoushka Shankar, Sparks, and Ajay Prasanna, to name a few.

“Wuthering Heights”, Charli XCX

Following “Brat”, Charli XCX landed on “Wuthering Heights”, a companion album to Emerald Fennell’s new film adaptation. It has its fair share of moving, orchestra-heavy tunes and pop gems. Throughout the album, she demonstrates an alternate view of her pop star vision, while also remaining in conversation with the book’s themes.

“Piss in the Wind”, Joji

Joji released “Piss in the Wind”, marking his latest album since “Smithereens” and its leading single “Glimpse of Us” broke records in 2022. The new album offers an experimental departure in sound that maintains some familiarity with the emotionally raw and melancholic lyricism that Joji is known for.

“Deadline”, BLACKPINK

Following a group hiatus of three years, BLACKPINK’s much-anticipated mini-album “Deadline” is here. The 5-track EP features a mixture of EDM, techno, and synth pop including explosive performance tracks built for stadiums and TikTok trends, and subtler, colder break-up records that lean into emotional growth.

“The Romantic”, Bruno Mars

Bruno Mars is all about love on “The Romantic”. He leans into funk, soul, disco, and Latin influences, creating a record that feels nostalgic and refreshingly personal. The tracks are undeniably danceable, tapping into the kind of rhythmic joy that defined much of early 2000s pop.

“GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4”, ATEEZ

ATEEZ’s latest mini-album, “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4,” arrives in a bold way to the boy group’s ongoing “GOLDEN HOUR” series, serving as a symbolic milestone in their growth. With only five tracks, each song condenses a remarkable range of moods and energies.

“Dracula – JENNIE Remix”, Tame Impala & JENNIE

Tame Impala brings new life to their hit song “Dracula” with a remix featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie. For her spin on the track, she joins Kevin Parker on some of his verse melodies and offers some whispered ad-libs in the background of the mix.

“Nothing’s About to Happen to Me”, Mitski

Inspired by the singer-songwriter herself, Mitski’s latest album “Nothing’s About to Happen to Me” is another one of her peculiar works, with Mitski doubling down on her theatrical storytelling impulses while also remaining surprisingly calm and collected throughout. Standout singles include “Where’s My Phone?”, “I’ll Change for You”, and “If I Leave”.

Sutra Foundation Presents Radhe! Radhe! 2.0 (Odissi): The Sweet Surrender

Radha, the passionate and cherished beloved of the pastoral god Krishna, is the protagonist of Sutra Foundation’s Odissi production, Radhe! Radhe!, which had its world premiere in Kuala Lumpur last October 2025. It is now set for its second season in 2026, followed by a Malaysia tour.

Sutra has just returned from a triumphant India tour of New Delhi, Chandigarh and Vadodara, as part of ICCR’s 11th International Dance and Music Festival. Even before that, following its premiere in Kuala Lumpur, Sutra Foundation had presented this work to the four major Odissi centres of Odisha – Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and New Delhi – taking the cities by storm with superb reviews.

The second Malaysia season of Radhe! Radhe! 2.0 will be Sutra Foundation’s major offering for 2026. Radhe! Radhe! 2.0 will now take on a seven-city Malaysia tour (Kuala Lumpur, Seremban, Klang, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Kulim, Penang) from April to June 2026.

The ecstatic love between the enigmatic and impulsive Radha, the chosen gopi, and the rather ‘incorrigible’ but irresistible Krishna has sparked inexhaustible medieval literature. Radha embodies the ‘hladini shakti’, the essence of joy and happiness within the essential spirit and ‘Maya’ of Krishna.

Radha represents the individual soul who feels incomplete if separated from the source of its energy and raison d’être – Krishna, the Universal Spirit Incarnate. Radha, the individual soul, demands absolute devotion from her lover Krishna/Universal Spirit. Krishna’s attention is easily distracted by the adoration lavished upon him by other gopis.

Radha and Krishna are bound in a mystico-erotic love relationship, journeying through the full gamut of rasa – from lovers’ quarrels and painful separations to joyful reconciliation – culminating in Radha’s ultimate realisation and complete surrender to Krishna, the eternal manifestation of the Universal Lover.

This production marks another significant Malaysia–India collaboration between Sutra Foundation, led by Datuk Ramli Ibrahim, and Bhubaneswar-based Tridhara, under Guru Gajendra Panda. Both dance gurus have undertaken several field research trips in Ganjam, South Odisha, to experience Radha Prema Leela – a folk dance-drama genre from which this production draws its inspiration.

The production will also take its visual inspiration from Pattachitra, the indigenous visual art form of Odisha, created specially by New Delhi-based artist Bibhu Patnaik. The central thrust of the production for both Ramli and Gajendra has been to enrich the repertoire of contemporary classical Odissi derived from the wealth of folk traditions of the region.

Radhe! Radhe! continues Sutra’s celebrated series of productions inspired by the culture-rich South Odisha – including GANJAM, Amorous Delight, and Jaya Ram – drawing inspiration from the vibrant folk performing and visual art traditions of the Ganjam district.

2NE1’s Sandara Park Responds To Groupmate Park Bom’s Shocking Drug Claims

2NE1 (투애니원) vocalist Park Bom (박봄) is no stranger to controversy, having previously sparked discussion online with her fixation on actor Lee Minho. However, her recent claim regarding groupmate Sandara Park (박산다라) brought about more backlash.

On 3rd March 2026 (Tuesday), Park Bom shared a handwritten letter on her Instagram account, which included some outrageous allegations related to her past drug scandal. In 2014, Park Bom faced drug abuse and smuggling accusations. The singer received a suspended indictment for bringing in Adderall, which she used to treat her Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), from the United States into South Korea, without a customs declaration.

SOURCES: TWITTER (@kchartsmaster & @AboutMusicYT)

Despite the singer submitting years of medical records and prescriptions to prove that she brought in Adderall into the country for treatment purposes, the incident caused irreparable damage to her career. However, in her recent statement, Park Bom claimed her past drug scandal was a cover-up and that her former company used her as a scapegoat to protect Sandara Park’s own alleged drug abuse.

The vocalist wrote in the letter, “It (Adderall) is not a drug. I am an ADD patient, something called Attention Deficit Disorder. Sandara Park was caught for drug abuse, and to cover that up, they turned the medication into something labelled as a drug scandal involving me. At the time, there wasn’t even a specific medication system or law in this country regarding Adderall, but strangely, after Park Bom, a law was created.”

In her letter, Park Bom also called out YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk (양현석) and 2NE1 leader CL (씨엘), hinting that these parties had a role in the scandal. While the 41-year-old would delete her post shortly after sharing it, the contents of the letter immediately sparked widespread discussion on social media. Many were shocked over the claims, but also slammed Park Bom for making allegations without proof.

SOURCE: TWITTER (@ParkBomDaily)

Following the allegations, Sandara Park’s representatives issued a brief statement, saying, “The claim is baseless, and Sandara Park is concerned about Park Bom’s current health.” Many fans are now calling for the singer to take legal action against her groupmate for the accusation, noting its severity. As of writing, Park Bom has yet to clarify her letter or the allegations towards Sandara Park.

Despite the backlash, some fans also expressed concern towards Park Bom. Some argued that the letter highlights the significant emotional damage that her drug scandal caused, noting how the public villainised her for her ADD.

Malaysian Fans Amused After RIIZE’s Anton Plays Siti Nurhaliza’s “Sesuci Lebaran” During Livestream

As Raya approaches, many Muslims in Malaysia are playing Raya songs to get into the festive mood. One popular song choice is Siti Nurhaliza’s classic, “Sesuci Lebaran”, which recently had an unexpected cameo in RIIZE (라이즈) member Anton’s (앤톤) livestream.

On 3rd March 2026 (Tuesday), the K-pop idol started a livestream on the Weverse app to interact with BRIIZE (RIIZE fans) from around the world. During the broadcast, Anton asked the viewers for song recommendations, hoping to hear some new music. One Malaysian fan cheekily asked for the vocalist to listen to Siti Nurhaliza’s iconic Raya hit “Sesuci Lebaran”.

To their surprise, Anton actually searched for the song and played it on the livestream. In a video capturing the moment, the idol was seen quietly dancing along to the track. As the song played on, Anton even snapped his fingers to the beat. While the RIIZE member never played the entire song, the short snippet was enough to spark amusement amongst local K-pop fans.

Many quipped that Anton was ready to celebrate Raya, even jokingly wishing him “Selamat Hari Raya” in advance. Others mentioned that it’s their first time seeing a K-pop idol listen to a Malay song, let alone a Raya song. Some even poked fun at Anton’s reaction to the song, saying that “Sesuci Lebaran” is K-pop idol-approved.

Funnily, this isn’t Anton nor RIIZE’s first encounter with Malaysian Raya songs. While in Kuala Lumpur for their concert last August, Anton, along with Wonbin (원빈) and Sohee (소희), did a short dance cover of 3P’s “Syawal Berseri” during the show’s soundcheck session. The trio would later share the dance cover on their social media.

While this isn’t the first time a K-pop idol listened to a Raya song, let’s hope it won’t be the last – especially given how entertaining it can be to those celebrating. Perhaps one day we might even get a full Raya song cover from an idol.

5 Reasons To Visit Malaysia’s First MINISO LAND At Sunway Pyramid

There are shopping trips, and then there are experiences. With so many new stores and new malls around town vying for our attention, the ones that stand out aren’t really stores at all, but rather a destination. Enter MINISO LAND.

Malaysia’s first-ever MINISO LAND has officially landed in Sunway Pyramid and social media has been buzzing with excitement. Spread across the first floor (in the space once home to Don Don Donki), this superstore promises to be a playground for the young and the young-at-heart. Here are 5 reasons that will make it worth the trip:

1. It Is The Largest MINISO in Southeast Asia

Let us start with scale. This is not your neighbourhood MINISO where you pop in for an item or two. This is the biggest one in the region, following in the footsteps of its siblings in Jakarta and Thailand. Size matters here because size means immersion. When you walk in, you are not entering a store; you are entering a landscape. The ceiling feels higher, the aisles stretch longer, and somewhere in the distance, a display of plush toys awaits like a welcoming committee. It is the kind of spaciousness that invites you to wander without purpose—and that is exactly when the best discoveries happen.

2. A 1,700+ Square Metre Space That Feels Like a Playground

Numbers can feel cold, so let us put it this way: 1,700 square metres is a lot of room to get happily lost in. But what makes it special is not just the size—it is how the space feels. Whimsical art installations dot the corners. Colourful decor turns every turn into a photo opportunity. It is designed to make you slow down, to linger a little longer than you planned. In a world that constantly rushes us from one task to the next, stepping into MINISO LAND feels like permission to pause. To touch. To browse without a goal.

3. 15 Themed Zones To Explore

Getting lost in MINISO LAND is part of the fun, especially with 15 specialized zones curating over 8,000 products. Whether you are hunting for a blind boxes, vinyl plush toys, or stylish water bottles you will find it. The layout encourages exploration, meaning you might walk in looking for a new phone case and walk out with an armful of collectibles and some snacks. This variety ensures that whether you are a hardcore collector or a casual browser, the sheer abundance of choice will keep you engaged for a long time.

4. Exclusive Characters and Corners Made for Memories

MINISO has always understood that shopping is not just about objects—it is about the stories they carry. At MINISO LAND, the brand is rolling out exclusive displays featuring beloved characters like Sanrio and Monchhichi, PAC-MAN, and YOYO. These are not just shelves stacked with merchandise; they are little worlds designed to make you smile. You will find yourself pausing for photos, sending pictures to friends, and probably picking up something you did not know you needed. It is retail as nostalgia.

5. Fun Prizes to Be Won

May be an image of ‎text that says "‎MN SOU C Riang Raya Spend & Win 1 MAR-31 -31 MAR 2026 GRAND GRANDPRIZE PRIZE DYSON HAIR DRYER THIRD PRIZES AK CHARMERA KEYCHAIN DIGITAL CAMERA SECOND PRIZES FUJIFILM INSTAX MINI 2 SPECIAL SPECIALPRIZES PRIZES MINISO RM20 VOUCHER 20.00 PR មូនា insran OAH - жepom ั้งั่ริเปรากาะท מלועעעננ.ה 1987 ak မ Join MiniFriend Rewards & Spend α minimum of RM80 to participate. *Photos are for Illustratlon purposes only. This month, MINISO is sprinkling a little Raya magic into every visit. Spend RM80 in a single receipt, and you might just find yourself bringing home an unexpected surprise—a Dyson hair dryer, perhaps, or a Fujifilm Instax camera to capture all the festive moments. Even RM20 MINISO vouchers are hiding in the mix, because sometimes the best prize is simply an excuse to come back and do it all over again.

Whether you are a dedicated collector of all things cute, a family looking for a weekend adventure, or simply someone who appreciates the art of the experience, MINISO LAND at Sunway Pyramid promises to be the most joyful retail opening of the year.

(Video) Elaine Ng Shares Update On Her Relationship With Estranged Daughter Etta Ng

Elaine Ng’s (吴绮莉) relationship with her daughter Etta Ng (吴卓林) has never been a smooth ride, with the two spending the last few years apart. However, the former beauty queen revealed that she and her daughter have slowly begun making amends.

Earlier this week, Elaine appeared in an interview on the Mount Buzz YouTube channel, where she discussed her career, personal life and health. The 1990 Miss Asia pageant winner also discussed her daughter Etta’s current situation and opened up about their estranged relationship.

For those unaware, Etta is Elaine’s daughter born out of wedlock. Her father, Jackie Chan (成龍), has never been an active figure in her life. Elaine raised Etta on her own, and the two had a close relationship until they had a falling out because of Etta’s relationship with her then-girlfriend, Andi Autumn. She also claimed that her mother abused her growing up.

Despite previously moving to Canada, there were recent reports that Etta has returned to Hong Kong. While Elaine never confirmed this fact, she did mention that her relationship with her daughter has gotten better. The 53-year-old said she and Etta have exchanged greetings during the recent holidays, showing improvement in their relationship.

SOURCES: INSTAGRAM (@jackiechan) & XIAOHONGSHU

Elaine also briefly touched on the rumours that Jackie, through an intermediary, had provided financial assistance to Etta and supported her design career. The actress denied the claims, quipping, “I don’t think so!” However, she also noted that she has no inside knowledge of the situation, adding, “I’m just a spectator, peeling peanuts on the sidelines.”

While it appears that it might take some more time before Elaine and Etta fully reconcile, we’re glad that the mother and daughter are at least on speaking terms. Regardless, we hope that the two can one day rebuild their relationship.
