And it’s back! Once again, Jimmy Kimmel has invited a bunch of celebrities to read mean tweets about themselves. This time, he got hold of some of the world’s most popular artistes, less than a week before the Grammys no less.
Fresh off her stellar Super Bowl show which earned her enough buzz on social media and around the world (with thanks to #LeftShark, of course), and even a Super Bowl-inspired tattoo, Katy Perry participated in Jimmy Kimmel Live’s “Mean Tweets” video.
She read:
Katy Perry has a voice that reminds me of balls covered in glass sliding down my throat. Nice gal.
Whatever that means.
Viewers were also treated to the priceless look on Drake’s face while he read a mean, Harry Potter-themed tweet about himself while Britney Spears burst into giggles upon reading a Twitterer’s take on her younger self.
Let’s not forget poor Josh Groban’s “Would you rather listen to Josh Groban or have diarrhoea ladled into your ear?” as well as Ariana Grande’s reaction to “I’d rather listen to an auto-tuned queef played on a continuous loop than Ariana Grande’s new album.” It’s safe to say that she herself couldn’t even get past that one without laughing.
Oh, and we can’t go without saying that South Korean pop star and rapper Psy totally won it hands down.
Here, watch and learn laugh:
We must say that it mustn’t have been easy for them to read the Internet’s cruelest comments about them. So, kudos to Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, so on and so forth (as seen in the video above)!
