We’re a little torn between being really excited about the release of the 7th instalment of the “Fast & Furious” film series and knowing that we’d be sad when it’s all over.
The film stars Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, and Tyrese Gibson. As you know, Paul Walker died in a car crash in November 2013, before the film wrapped production.
After which, Universal Pictures announced the shut down of the “Fast & Furious 7″ production indefinitely following the death Paul Walker so that they can assess all options available to move on with the franchise.
Luckily, it wasn’t long before the production came around again, with Paul Walker’s brothers helping to complete some of his scenes. After which, it was announced that the 7th “Fast & Furious” instalment officially took on the title, “Furious 7“.
And while most of you might’ve already seen the first trailer, over the Super Bowl weekend (1st Feb), an extended “Fast 7″ trailer was released. As you would expect, the extended trailer features many of the same scenes that made us gawp, chuckle, and rejoice at the first one, but now fills a whole 3 minutes with extra action and the awesome but cliched dialogue that we’ve all come to love.
Sure, it’s going to be very bittersweet to watch Paul Walker in some of his final scenes, but we really can’t wait. After all, haven’t we all been waiting far too long for this?:
The latest instalment of the high-octane franchise is set to arrive in theatres on 3rd April 2015.
