Well, it looks like EXO isn’t the only group that is looking forward to have a fresh start in 2015 as INFINITE’s sub-unit, INFINITE H is set to make a comeback next year as well!
Dongwoo and Hoya, the rapper duo from Woollim Entertainment’s INFINITE emerged as the first sub-unit group out of 7-member idol group and the first-ever hip-hop unit under their talent agency. The sub-unit group made their debut with a mini album titled “Fly High” earlier in January last year.
Most of the songs from their mini album, “Fly High” have topped various major music charts after the album was released and the album has even earned them the “Best Unit” award at 2013 SBS MTV Best of Best.
However, the group has never revealed their intention to make a comeback until last year during an interview with EDaliy, when the duo revealed that the comeback might happen in the first half of 2014 and that they are working on the recording of their new release. The group also surprised fans by performing a self-written song, “Alone” during INFINITE’s encore concert, “One Great Step Returns” in March 2014.
As the sub-unit group will be attending the “Brand New Music family concert” on December 7th, a spokesperson from the agency told Korean media outlet MBN Star that the group will be revealing their plans for their new album during the concert.
Another Korean media outlet OSEN also exclusively reported that the group is expected to make a comeback in January and will collaborate with famous producers or artistes from Korean record label Brand New Music. Artistes such as Zion.T, Bumkey, Paloalto, Beenzino, Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko are expected to collaborate with them in their new album.
Woollim Entertainment has not responded to the rumour but we are pleased that INFINITE H is finally making a comeback soon! We’ll leave you with our favourite song from their mini album here:
