A park will open soon and it’s a park you’ve never seen before. But how different is it from the usual theme park you’ve ever been to? Well, let’s just say the dinosaurs are the ones that will draw you into visiting the new theme park called “Jurassic World”.
A teaser trailer for Colin Trevorrow’s sci-fi terror adventure, “Jurassic World” was released by Universal Pictures on 23rd November, giving us a glimpse into the new Jurassic World owned by Masrani Corporation.
The teaser trailer runs for 15 seconds, the same length as the preview for the teaser trailer. As compared to the preview, the teaser trailer revealed more details about the theme park and the leading roles of the film played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Chris Pratt joined the cast of the film to play Owen, a rugged ex-military dude while “As You Like It” star Bryce Dallas Howard will play Claire, a scientist who created the genetically modified dinosaurs.
“Jurassic World” is set to take place 22 years after the events of “Jurassic Park” at Isla Nublar. The remote island now features a full-fledged dinosaur theme park, which was originally envisioned by John Hammond, a character played by the late actor Richard Attenborough. The full plot of the film has not been released as of yet but it was revealed that the focus will be on a new attraction in the park that gravely backfires despite its effort to re-spark visitor interest.
As seen in the teaser trailer, Universal Pictures is set to release the official trailer of “Jurassic World” on this Thursday, November 27th.
However, Universal Pictures broke its promise and surprised us with the release of the full trailer ahead of its expected Thanksgiving Day premiere.
Producer Frank Marshall tweeted that the official trailer of the film is a “Thanksgiving surprise”, but some fans speculated that the trailer may have been released to avoid hackers from leaking it ahead of its release. But of course, it could really just be an awesome surprise from Universal Pictures and we are forever grateful for that!
Forget what you’ve seen in the teaser trailer, because the official trailer has given us an overall idea of how things will go horribly wrong with the new hybrid dinosaurs plan. Although the new Jurassic Park looks absolutely amazing and futuristic, the new hybrid dinosaur escapes from the lab and makes it almost impossible for everyone else to escape the remote island. Like what Chris Pratt said, the hybrid dinosaur is a highly intelligent animal that will “kill anything that moves”.
Yup, you can’t run even if you tried. Watch the terrifying trailer below!
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the script is written by Derek Connolly and himself. Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the latest instalment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park film series while Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley returns as producers.
Slated for release on 12 June, 2015, the film also stars Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, and Judy Greer.
