From “Happy” to “Come Get It Bae,” Pharrell Williams now gives us “Gust Of Wind” and we are loving it! The singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, musician and fashion designer has released a stunning music video for his collaboration with Daft Punk, “Gust Of Wind” off his recent album, G I R L.
Directed by Edgar Wright, the video places Pharrell in a journey through an autumnal bewitched forest, complete with hand-clapping nymphs and choreographed aerial acrobatics and dancers. The video opens to Pharrell approaching two giant Daft Punk helmet-shaped boulders that eventually light up whenever the chorus kicks in. As the video fades to black, Daft Punk’s silhouettes can be seen in the sky as their helmets ascend upward.
Fun and lighthearted, the video features visual tricks and interesting imagery that takes us through a trippy imaginary world. Check it out:
