BOOM! Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds’ still got it!
Australian alternative rock band, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds were first formed in Melbourne in 1983 and consists of members Nick Cave, Martyn Casey, Warren Ellis, Conway Savage, Jim Sclavunos and Thomas Wydler. The band has been awarded with six Australian ARIA nominations for their album Push The Sky Away which also reach Number #1 in Australia and received nominations that include Best Live Act, Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Adult Contemporary Album, Best Independent Release and Best Video.
Live from KCRW, the band’s forth album will feature a stripped-down line-up performing classic Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds materials as well as four songs from the recent global hit album Push The Sky Away will be released on December 2nd, 2013 (Monday).
Recorded by Bob Clearmountain earlier this year at a live KCRW radio session at Apogee Studio in Los Angeles, the album will be available on CD, download and double vinyl format. Recorded in between the band’s two Coachella festival appearances, the vinyl edition will includes two additional exclusive, live recordings that were not broadcasted from the session. These two numbers are Into My Arms and God is in the House.
