The force is strong with this little one. Famed Star Wars Saga creator George Lucas and his wife Mellody Hobson have just welcomed a baby girl in their lives. Her given name is EVEREST HOBSON LUCAS, a healthy, first biological child to them both was born via a surrogate. She will play the role of little sister to Lucas’ adopted children Amanda, 32; Katie, 25; and Jett, 20.
Lucas and Hobson were married not long ago at the Skywalker Ranch in California. Among the guests last Saturday evening, were longtime friend and collaborator Steven Spielberg, director Francis Ford Coppola; who helped Lucas get several of his earliest films produced.
Musical artists Van Morrison and Janelle Monae performed at the wedding reception. Lucas’ son Jett served as his best man, and his daughters Katie and Amanda served as bridesmaids.
