Boy, are you in for a treat! Dubbed the Belgian Michael Bublé, Bovy is no stranger to the music industry. At barely 26 years of age , Yannick Bovy already has the kind of voice that takes us back to the time when Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole ruled the charts and melted women’s hearts across the globe.
Yannick was nominated as Best New Artist Of The Year in 2012 and for Best Debut Album of the year by Radio 2 Belgium. In January 2013, Yannick was also nominated as the Best New Artist of the Year for the Belgian Music Awards. With such notable talent, Yannick was invited in October 2012 to open for a sold out Lionel Ritchie concert (18,000 crowds) and also played at the acclaimed Rimpelrock Festival to a 50,000 strong audience. Word had spread and in March 2013, Yannick was one of the invited performers at the Java Jazz Festival in Indonesia and guest performer for the opening of Richard Mille flagship store in Kuala Lumpur.
This year kicks off with the release of his second international album, ‘Better Man’.
In conjunction with his new album, Yannick will be in town from 1st to 4th of August for his album promotional tour of ‘The Better Man Showcase’. He is scheduled to perform hits from ‘Better Man’ album to fans on 3rd August, followed by an autograph session at 8pm at Penthouse @ The Icon thanks to our friends at Universal Music Malaysia!
