But not all are happy with the tweet, though. In this case, some netizens have expressed their bitterness by leaving hateful and degrading remarks towards the uncle on the left – who bought himself an iPhone 11 Pro Max as stated in the tweet.

However, it was later revealed that the uncle got a ton of criticism actually works as a gynaecologist at the KPJ Perdana hospital in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Known as Dr. Awang Nila Ismail, this uncle is more than capable of owning the highly-specced iPhone using half of his own monthly salary!

In case you haven’t heard of Greta Thunberg. She is an 16-year-old Swedish girl that made headlines for her role in the 2019 UN Summit. In that summit she spoke out emotionally, criticising the people’s treatment of the planet and about climate change – which gathered attention.
While many praised her courage and for speaking out for the planet, she came under fire from many that disagree with her over-dramatisation of the situation. The fact that she’s only a teen also rubbed people the wrong way.

Jeremy Clarkson, a well-known car reviewer and webshow host of “The Grand Tour”, hit out against Greta for her criticism of adults, claiming that most things she enjoyed right now was made by adults.
In his column in the news agency The Sun he wrote, “How dare you sail to America on a carbon fiber yacht that you didn’t build which cost £15million ($18million), that you didn’t earn, and which has a back-up diesel engine that you didn’t mention.” This was in regards to Greta’s recent venture to America via a yacht. Though he agreed with her regarding climate change, he stated that science should be the answer and not her ways of action.

Beside Clarkson, Singaporean blogger and influencer named XiaXue called Greta rather ‘cringe’ and a ‘hopeful idiot’ for her speech at the summit. She also mentioned how these kids views things in a one dimensional angle. She was met with backlash for her post but has remained adamant that she would not apologies over her comment on Greta because she has done nothing wrong.
3. Andrew Bolt

Andrew Bolt, who is a conservative social and political commentator, questioned why so many adults are listening to her more than anything else. “I have never seen a girl so young and with so many mental disorders treated by so many adults as a guru,” he wrote in The Herald Sun.
4. Amanda Vanstone

Some have also questioned whether she is being manipulated by her parents and the people surrounding. One of which is former Howard government minister Amanda Vanstone who in her radio national show ‘Counterpoint’ brought up the question.
In the radio show, she stated that she opposes the usage of children in political debates and that Greta was used to deflect criticism because no adults are willing to argue and fight a kid.

It maybe because of her controversial topic and issues that resulted in The 1975 rejecting the opportunity to work with her. According to their manager, it was not only the band but many others who have refused as well.

The great fast-fashion American clothing store chain, Forever 21, have just filed for bankruptcy. One of the biggest name in fashion is now going under for most places.
It appears that the company is set to close to an upward of 178 stores around the world, starting with the stores with the lowest traffic. Even so, the company has step forward to ensure customers that despite their bankruptcy announcement, a significant amount of their stores will be remain open.

The company once known for bringing fashionable clothes for very affordable prices will hope that their strong domestic market in Latin America and the United State can pull them through. Sadly, that won’t be the case for markets across Europe and Asia.
The music industry recently welcomed the birth of Def Jam Southeast Asia. The biggest hip-hop label in the world is set to showcase several Southeast Asian rappers to the whole world.
Many were excited at the good news when it was announced that the whole roster of Joe Flizzow’s Kartel Records has join forces with Universal Music Malaysia to form Def Jam Malaysia and Def Jam Singapore. Cue mic drop!

The announcement was made during a special press conference held at The Bee @ Publika last Friday (27th September). We got to witness live performances from the multi-talented lineup of Def Jam Malaysia and Singapore including Abubakarxli, Fariz Jabba, Yung Raja, SonaOne, Alif and of course, Joe Flizzow himself.
During the event, we managed to catch up with the Mr. President himself as well as SonaOne and Alif. The trio spilled the deets on their Def Jam venture, important advice to share to up-and-coming singers, challenges they’ve faced and the music industry as a whole.
Can you explain more on Def Jam Recordings and also the venture?
SonaOne: Sure! Def Jam is the 1st hip-hop label in the world. So, this thing has been around since 1982. I was not even born around that time. But basically, hip-hop today will not be this big if it wasn’t for Def Jam. They were the 1st label to promote the music and also its culture and has given the biggest classic acts like LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna. Def Jam is the biggest rap label in the world.
So for me, this whole venture overall is a dream come true for me. If anybody asked me last year, “What’s your next plan?” – my answer would be this (venture) was not part of it. I didn’t expect that we will go all the way to this level. For me, it’s dope and I think it’s gonna be a good opportunity for us Southeast Asian rappers to showcase our talent to the world.
In conjunction with the new venture, what do you think are some of the important things artistes need to look out for when signing a contract?
Alif: Make sure you don’t sign the contract immediately. If you’re unsure, then get a 2nd opinion. Until you’re confident and sure enough, then you can proceed with signing the contract.
Joe Flizzow: For me, you must get yourself comfortable with the contract. Contract nowadays comes in 360-degree format deals. In this case, they take care of everything – the management, the publishing, every aspects. Even if you ask a lawyer, anything is possible if you’re familiar with what you’re signing up for. In addition, now you can craft a contract to your liking, and that is the MOST important thing.
When I sign artistes (to Kartel), I’ll ask them, “What do you want to achieve from this contract?”. Different people wants different things. A contract is an agreement, you know? You need to make an agreement for anything. So, always know what you want to out of the label. Always know your strengths, weaknesses and what will the contract should help you in a way that you can become more comfortable to concentrate on your music.
What do you hope to achieve with Def Jam that you weren’t able to achieve with other labels?
SonaOne: I’m keen on what Def Jam can help me achieve. I hope to put Southeast Asia on the map. Honestly, I’m tired of people suggesting that I should expand my career abroad. It’s not that I don’t want to. It’ll be nice but for me, Malaysia is home. I’ve been always busy doing stuff here, helping so many different artistes. I think it’s a matter of time until I can get in the position that I don’t have to go everywhere. Instead, we can have the world come to us.
Alif: We don’t know yet. Because it’s new. But we have been doing collaborations regionally already. So now there are more opportunities do even more projects with the birth of this label.
Flizzow: I want Def Jam to be that platform where Malaysian artistes can go to an international market, to be able to collaborate with several artistes across the region, make music together and create a signature Southeast Asian sound – and together we are united as one to represent this sound to the world.
What do you think are the biggest misconceptions when it comes to hip-hop music?
Alif: Lyrics are not good enough. Suggestive. But for me that’s not really a concern though. Hip-hop is a form of musical expression. If you listen to any songs from any other genre there’s a lot more repetitive lyrics for instance. So, I feel that music is a form of expression. I respect other’s opinion because at the end of the day, I know what I’m doing. And if they don’t like it then what can I do, right?
Flizzow: I think right now. there are no misconceptions because the understanding of the culture is there. Compared to 20 or 30 years ago, if you play hip-hop music in the family car and your mom will go like, “What is this?”. But today’s normal, the demographics of hip-hop is so much wider than what it used to be. People – of all society, races, religion and colour – listen to hip-hop. So, I believe misconceptions are only for people that are not knowledgeable (when it comes to the genre).
What are the perks of signing this agreement?
SonaOne: The perks for me is the brand itself. The fact that I am a part of something that is huge, that has been in the culture forever.
Alif: I got my family members at Kartel with me. So that’s cool.
SonaOne, you’ve achieved mainstream popularity through collab with Joe Flizzow in the song “Apa Khabar”. Tell us more about your career prior to “Apa Khabar”.
SonaOne: I have been working on music my entire life. We wrote “Apa Khabar” 2 years before it came out in 2014. Additionally, I also wrote the AIM award-winning song “No More” 5 years before it was officially released. Back then, I would cater to audience’s needs. That’s one of the reasons it took quite long for me to release more new music. But now, I don’t really care whether the mainstream audience would accept my music or not. Because for me, I just want to make a good music. Because if I make good music, people who like good music are gonna listen to it. So, I’m not trying to force people to listen to my music. It should be natural.
Alif, congratulations for your song “Mimpi” with K-Clique. Did you expect the popularity of the song?
Alif: The collab project with K-Clique was almost a year in the making actually. The song “Mimpi” was the 2nd one actually. Talking about the group, I knew that K-Clique was poppin’ already. But, I did not want to make a viral song. I know how to make viral songs, but that’s not my thing. I wanted to make songs that can stand the test of time. So, I feel that “Mimpi” is a great song, it’s a great feat for the group as well.
Apart from Joe who has collaborated with big names like Amy Search, Yassin and also Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, we’ve rarely seen you guys collaborated with other artistes outside Kartel. Is it tougher to collab with singers outside your label?
SonaOne: I won’t deny that it is difficult because it varies when we work with different artiste. Because you know, almost all artistes have their own team, like us. So you have to go through the specific channels. Sometimes it doesn’t work out at all.
But for me, it’s not really an issue. In fact, I have a lot of collaboration with other artistes but I guess it’s just that not all people know about it. But I’ve done that a lot already. In fact, I’m open to any projects with all artistes regardless of genre.
Any thoughts on any rising hip-hop artistes like Bunga and K-Clique?
Alif: I love Bunga! I think she has so much potential. And we’ll just have to wait and see-lah what she turns into. I’m excited for her.
SonaOne: I love it! Bunga’s really dope! I met her when we were doing “16Bars” together in Bangkok, Thailand. So, I get to know her a little bit. She’s a sweet girl, very talented. And I know that she’s gonna have a promising career ahead.
K-Clique, man! I caught on to K-Clique like a year plus ago. And I told everybody, “You guys must watch out, man. These boys are gonna blow up.” And look at them now! I’m very happy with what they have achieved.

Joe Flizzow: Well, Yung Raja is releasing his next single “Mad Blessings”, Caprice has a song coming out with BadBoii, Fariz Jabba will come out with a new single, SonaOne has an EP coming out, I got a whole album in the works. Sharnaaz Ahmad has filed a ‘nusyuz’ (disobedient) application against wife Noor Nabila. The controversial actor took the case to the Mahkamah Rendah Syariah Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur to file for the request on 19th September (Thursday).
For those who might not know, ‘nusyuz’ refers to a wife’s action for being disobedient as well as going against the husband’s will for the sake of being rebellious.
When asked about his reason for doing so, the 34-year-old explained, “I filed for nusyuz because I feel like we need more space to work on our fractured relationship. In addition, I also want to come clean on all the speculations (regarding marriage) that have been said by everyone out there.”
“I’m only doing this for one reason only – to find the best solution for this matter. If we chose to fight instead, both sides will end up losing. The most important thing is to find the a solution that is mutually beneficial,” he said in an interview with local news outlets.

Ricky Martin, 47, the famous puerto Rican singer has announced along with his husband Jwan Yosef, 35, that they are planning on expanding their family with a new child.

When asked about his views on Malaysian politicians, the “Sang Saka Biru” rapper responded by exclusively telling Hype, “For me, if I support a politician, it’s because I support the cause. And (YB) Hannah – being in her ministry – has helped many people like single mothers and also families that are in need of help regardless of races, ages and colour. The whole nation were shocked with the news about a man being investigated by the police, all because of a suspicious order made at popular food chain store Domino’s Pizza.
According to Hangat, the man – known as Zacky Khairudean – ordered 10 sets of combos including their signature pizza using discount coupons that he purchased online. Doubtful with the transaction, Domino’s then filed a police report against Zacky.
As a result, he was questioned by the cops after being accused of hacking their system. Following the investigation, Zacky was found not guilty. In return, Domino’s released an official apology statement to address the situation.
Despite that, most netizens expressed their disappointment over the food chain and even criticised their apology as being not sincere. Some even asked to boycott the franchise. Twitter users, including yours truly, were redirected to Twitter when trying to access Tweetdeck. A common complaint among users is that they were alerted that their accounts were no longer authorised to use Tweetdeck. Well, at least we’re all in the same boat here.
The outage isn’t just occurring in the US and Europe but in Asia as well. When contacted, Twitter answered that it was unaware of the issue and has carried out investigation. It is currently unclear why the site is down and for how long it will be unavailable.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, TweetDeck is a platform that “offers a more convenient Twitter experience by letting you view multiple timelines in one easy interface. It includes a host of advanced features to help get the most of Twitter: Manage multiple Twitter accounts, schedule Tweets for posting in the future, build Tweet collections, and more.”
Do we sense love in the air? Adele was recently spotted with someone new, just days after she filled for divorce with husband, Simon Konecki.
She was spotted with rapper Skepta, who hail from the same part of London as she did, in several dates. Skepta, real name is Joseph Junior Adenuga, is a British native from Tottenham.

Back in 2016, Skepta stated in ES Magazine that he and Adele have been in contact, “Adele texts me all the time and keeps me in check. She speaks to me about how things are going“. Adele posted a picture with the rapper in the same year, which she captioned it “Tottenham Boy” with a heart emoji.
Sources tell The Sun, that the pair have supporting each other ever since their split with their partners. “Adele and Skepta have been there for each other a lot after both their relationships split up. They have a close bond and there’s definitely a special connection. They’re spending more and more time together. Some of their friends are hoping and predicting they could end up being a great couple one day,” said the insider.

Adele is a mother to her and Konecki’s 7-years-old son named Angelo. The Grammy winner filed for joint physical and legal custody of Angelo four days after she filed for divorce, with Konecki agreeing to her request, showing that their split is seemingly eminent.
Meanwhile, Skepta is also a father to a baby daughter, Rivers, which he had with a women whose identity is unknown. The baby was revealed all the way back in July of last year where he posted an ultrasound scan on his Instagram, stating he was going to be a father for the first time. He later shared a picture of him feeding the baby girl in December.

We’re sure everyone’s been wondering why the hashtag #BoycottMalaysia became a trending topic in Malaysia recently.
This happened after Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad gave his “controversial” statement when addressing the current Jammu and Kashmir conflict. In this case, Tun M suggested that “the problems (between the parties from India and Pakistan) must be solved by peaceful means.”

Tun M’s statement has in turn received a number of negative reactions by most netizens from India who took offence to what he was saying in the speech. Most of them thought that the Pakatan Harapan minister was bias in leaning towards Pakistan instead of India.
They then took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction by creating the hashtag #BoycottMalaysia – urging all locals to not to support anything that is Malaysian-related, including travelling to our country.

As of today, Tun M has not given any response in regards to the ongoing issue. For those who are curious, the speech was made during the United Nations General Assembly that was held recently.
Despite the issue, local keyboard warriors online have came forward to defend our PM. Most of them clapped back at the offended Indian citizens who slammed Tun M as well as Malaysia on Twitter. Take a look at their reactions below:

Montero Lamar Hill, better known as Lil Nas X, has opened up about being gay and what it was like for him during his youth in an interview with Gayle King on “CBS This Morning”.
When Gayle King asked whether the “Old Town Road” and “Padini” rapper knew he was gay ever since he was a little boy. Nas replied with “Definitely. I knew, Especially around my teenage years. I was just like praying, praying, praying.“.

Gayle King then asked why he said praying in his answer, which prompted Nas to reply with “That it was like a phase, [that it would] go away,”
He later would add that because of the position he was in, being a successful rapper, it was easier for him to come out. But, it might be difficult for some little boy 10 miles from where he was at, to do the same he did. “I mean, ’cause me being in this position, it’s easy for me. But like some little boy 10 miles from here, it’s not gonna be good for him.”

When asked whether him coming out as gay will helped that metaphorical little boy 10 miles from where they were, Lil Nas X said yes but there was still a lot of work to be done.

But he was not always so brave, just last month he told ‘Time Magazine’ he was afraid of coming out because he fear that it might split his large cross-genre fans base. Because being born and raise in the American state of Georgia he was taught that being gay was “never going to be O.K.” and he thought his fans might have been taught similarly.
But he noted that the recent rise of ‘Pride month’ gave him the push he needed to finally came out and reveal his sexuality. “I’m seeing Pride flags everywhere and seeing couples holding hands — little stuff like that”.
Lil Nas X come out earlier this year in June when he release the song “C7osure”, Which convey a lot of wanting to be free and be himself. He also confirmed about his homosexuality in Twitter following the song release. He also cited his album art as well being evidents as it showed rainbow imagery, which was the international symbol for the LGBTQ community.
New set photos have come out for the upcoming “Black Widow” movie, and a well known character is making a return. He is none other than General “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by William Hurt.
General Ross, first appeared in the big screen in “Hulk” in 2003 where he was originally played by Sam Elliot. William Hurt’s rendition of General Ross came in the follow up of the “Hulk” movie called “The Incredible Hulk”. In the post credit scene, we saw that Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr, talked to Ross about forming a team.

Ross then took an 8-year hiatus from the big screen only to return in “Captain America: Civil War”. Following that, he made a brief appearances in both “Avengers: Infinity War”, and “Avengers: Endgame”. So we’re really looking forward to see him in “Black Widow”.
This is not very surprising, really, if you’ve been keeping along with Marvel movies, as the character has been appearing more and more in recent films.
Not only that, the role of the character has also been given more attention leading many to speculate of his role in future films. The most interesting of them will be a post credits scene in which Ross will invite Yelena Belova into the Thunderbolts (think Avengers but working for the government) which was long rumoured to be appearing into the big screen.
