If you think film noir belongs to the silver screens of the past, think again. Several awards and five-star reviews later, the first chapter of one-man film noir parody series Bane will finally thrill, surprise, and delight at its Asian debut in PJ Live Arts, Jaya One.
Bane is a testament to the power of live acting. UK actor Joe Bone skillfully performs all of Bane’s 79 characters and sound effects alone on a bare stage – a feat so impressive, he scored a Guinness world record for it. Accompanied by musician Ben Roe’s live guitar score, the detective story comes alive with all the wit and glamour of the film noir world. Expect car chases, gun battles, toxic mutations, and high-speed pursuits.
Be amongst the first in the continent to experience this cinematic rollercoaster of action, comedy, drama, and music in Bane, the best crime movie never made.
