Imagine going through your day incomplete darkness. How would a sightless world affect your daily routine? Dialogue In The Dark Malaysia, the Malaysian arm of the brand of enlightening events, is inviting all to experience the internationally acclaimed exhibition, where the blind leads the blind. This event will be the first of its kind in PJ Live Arts.
In the Dialogue in the Dark exhibition, visitors are led by visually impaired tour guides in small groups for an hour through a completely darkened space where sounds, wind, temperatures and textures turn daily routines in the dark into new experiences.
Sighted people can expect to be taken out of their comfort zones, losing the sense they rely on most— their sight. Guides provide security and a sense of orientation in a world without pictures. The eye-opening exhibition will demonstrate that the sightless world is not poorer – just different.
Dialogue In The Dark organizes events in complete darkness that promises a powerful experiences for leadership and talent development.
Since 1988, they have held events in more than 120 cities in 30 countries attracting over 7 million visitors. A 2006 study showed that:
