Recently, Britney Spears’ baby sis Jamie Lynn Spears took to Twitter to announce that she’s engaged to Jamie Watson. The former child star Jamie Lynn has been dating 30-year-old Jamie for the past three years after splitting with Casey Aldridge, the father of her four-year-old daughter Maddie. Oh, and might we add that Jamie Lynn is only 21 years old – and she’s getting married!

She announced the news posting a picture the beautiful engagement ring:
Although Jamie Lynn is already a mother, this will be her first marriage. And although older sis Britney Spears recently just called it quits with fiancé Jason Trawick, she was only too happy about her sibling’s news. Britney, too, took it to Twitter to congratulate her little sis when she wrote, “So excited and happy for my sister, congrats @jamielynnspears – love you”.
Aww. Yes, we believe some congratulations from us is in order too so congratulations, Jamie Lynn! Here’s to many, many years of wedded bliss!
