The boyishly cute Lee Hyun Woo (Queen Seon Deok, Lobbyist) star of “To the Beautiful You” has embarked on his publicity tour to Southeast Asia in promotion of his popular new Korean romantic comedy series now airing on ONE HD.
In Kuala Lumpur on 14th October 2012 (Sunday) and in Singapore on the following day, Lee is on a whirlwind two-city tour to promote the 16-part Korean romantic school comedy currently airing Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:05pm, first and exclusively on ONE HD.
The first time in his career that the 19-year-old Korean idol is visiting Malaysia, Lee is meeting with the local media, ONE HD’s pay-TV platform partner Astro and lucky winners from Astro Circle, Astro’s customer rewards program.
These lucky Astro Circle winners received a pair of passes to attend ONE HD’s exclusive meet-and-greet event at Sungei Wang Plaza in the afternoon of 14th October to catch Lee in person. They get to hear Lee relate his personal experiences from shooting “To the Beautiful You”, and the luckiest among them will even share the stage with the Korean actor for some fun and games, with prizes to be won.
Lee Hyun Woo’s visit is the fourth promotional tour organized by ONE HD, following actor Jang Hyuk in January 2011 to promote drama Midas; Lee Dong Wook and Kim Sun-A in December 2011 in promotion of Scent of A Woman; as well as K-pop boy group BTOB in June 2012 to perform in Jakarta.
ONE HD’s To the Beautiful You is the fourth and latest TV adaptation of the Japanese manga series “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e” by Hisaya Nakajo, following a highly successful Taiwanese and two Japanese TV adaptations.
