Is Zeddlena real, or it is just a strategy?
It has been almost 3 weeks since Zedd‘s new album “True Colors” has been released and it looks like Diplo has something against him as he allegedly tweeted that Zedd’s album “is such a pile of *inserts poop emoji*”.

The tweet was later removed by Diplo but the reason behind the tweet has been kept on the dark side of the moon. Either he was trying to make a joke out of it or simply because he needs to share his honest thoughts.
No stranger to controversy, Diplo stumbled upon the wrath of the Swifties last year when he advocated that “Someone should make a kickstarter to get Taylor Swift a booty”. The statement was later defended by Swift’s raging fans alongside her bosom buddy, Lorde.

In a recent interview with Radio.com, while discussing his music career , the “Where Are Ü Now” DJ took things a step further when he claimed that Zedd “fake relationship” with his rumoured girlfriend Selena Gomez to sell records.
He said:
I’m actually not enemies with Zedd by any means. I just think that he came from such a cool place, and now he’s been pegged as a money-maker for a major label to do EDM, which to me isn’t even a genre.
Ooh, things are getting too spicy for the pepper.
He continues:
But they pegged him for that, they’ve marketed him, even the fake relationship with Selena Gomez, all the things to sell records took away from the music. He’s an amazing producer and good songwriter.
We obviously did not see this coming as this rumoured couple has been one of the hottest topic in January. They had spent so much time together promoting “I Want You To Know” and its music video. At that time, while everyone was wondering if it was true that they were in a relationship, Diplo teased them by uploading a photo of him hugging Zedd along with a caption that read: “@SelenaGomez watch out.”

While various sources told E! News that Zedd and Gomez were always just friends working on music together, several Instagram posts fed romance rumours. Now that rumours are getting a little out of hand, let’s just hope that Selena will bring “clarity” to the problem sometime soon.
In other news, Diplo also revealed in the interview that he has a number of new music releasing soon featuring Usher and Rihanna.
