You don’t ever mess with Whitey Bulger, you just don’t.
Warner Bros. Pictures has just released a new crime fiction trailer titled “Black Mass” starring one of the most versatile actors of this day and age, Johnny Depp.
“Black Mass” focuses on a Boston gangster, Whitey Bulger, who’s labelled as the most feared, most wanted, most notorious gangster in the history of America. Following a string of his brutal and vicious past, he later becomes an FBI informant as a way to get rid of their common enemy: the Italian mob.
The trailer kicks off with Whitey (played by Johnny Depp) giving advise to his 6-year-old son over the dining table. He’s heard saying:
“It not what you do, it’s when and where you do it, and who you do it to or with.” “If nobody sees it, it didn’t happen”.
“Black Mass” also stars Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug), Kevin Bacon, Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades Of Grey), Jesse Plemons, Corey Stoll, Rory Cochrane, Sienna Miller and Adam Scott.
Directed by “Crazy Heart” Scoot cooper, “Black Mass” is scripted by Mark Mallouk and Jez Butterworth and is based on the book “Black Mass: The True Story Of An Unholy Alliance Between The FBI And The Irish Mob”, written by Dick Lehr and Gerard O’neill.
