It’s always a good time with Owl City!
Multi-platinum, chart topping alternative pop artiste Owl City will be releasing his forthcoming fifth full-length album, “Mobile Orchestra” on July 10th (Friday). Musically conceived everywhere from airports and hotels to tour buses, the “Shooting Star” singer’s upcoming album is a follow-up to 2012’s “Midsummer Station”, which debuted Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and boasted the double-platinum duet with Carly Rae Jepsen, “Good Time”.
Comprising of 10 tracks, the upcoming album will feature standout collaborations with Jake Owen, Hanson and Aloe Blacc. With a total of over 2.5 million on album sales and single sales surpassing 18 million globally, Owl City remains a top-notched hit maker in his own right. Owl City first made headlines in 2009 with his smash hit “Fireflies”. The track off his “Ocean Eyes” album received a five-times RIAA platinum certification in addition to going #1 in 26 countries.
Slated for release on July 10th, “Mobile Orchestra” is now available for pre-order on iTunes. An instant download of “Verge” featuring Aloe Blacc, the first official single off the album, will be available for instant download for fans who pre-order the album.
