The all-new Audi TT3 – for those who dare.

Audi Malaysia recently announced the launch of its third generation Audi TT. Distinctive and unmistakably Audi, the new Audi TT3 dares to set the benchmarks for what defines a sports car. First introduced as a concept car in 1995 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Audi TT was made a reality in 1998 with the first-generation TT coupé.

“Over the past twenty years, the Audi TT has consistently been the epitome of an authentic design icon, simply because we at Audi dared to push the boundaries of what truly defined a sports car. The third-generation TT you see today is a result of our philosophy of putting no limits in engineering a performance-oriented, emotionally sculpted, technological tour-de-force that embodies everything that we at Audi stand for,” said Immo Buschmann, Managing Director of Audi Malaysia.

Featuring an update in its iconic design, the new TT3 owns curves, contours and proportions that are reminiscent of the first-generation TT. 4,177 meters in length, the TT3 is shorter by 10mm than the previous model, but comes with a longer wheelbase, making for shorter overhangs and an overall fiercer stance. The front is dominated by horizontal lines and its Singleframe grille is broader and flatter than previous models.

However, without straying too far from previous designs, the TT3 retains a couple of trademark features including a retractable rear spoiler which extends from the trunk lid to improve air resistance and downforce at speeds above 120km/h, stylish lidless aluminium fuel flap surrounded by socket screws as well as signature round twin exhaust tailpipes.

The interior stays true to its theme of “less is more”, with taut surfaces, floating lines and clearly structured spaces. Personally, we think the Audi TT3 is stunning – it’s fierce, sexy and a definite eye catcher. The all-new Audi TT coupé is offered in a total of ten colours. They are: Ibis White, Brilliant Black, Glacier White, Scuba Blue, Tango Red, Floret Silver, Monsoon Grey, Nano Grey, Mythos Black and a special Daytona Grey with pearl effect.

The interior of the new Audi TT remains minilistic with taut surfaces, floating lines and the classic the classic TT feature of round air-conditioner vents resembling the turbines of a jet engine.
