Brace yourself gamers, for it’s time to go on an adventure.
“Game of Thrones” star Charles Dance discussed his first video game role in “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”. The game developed by CD Projekt RED, recently released a behind-the-scenes video of the game which sees Dance taking on the role of Emhyr var Emreis, a cruel and brutal Emperor of Nilfgaard.
“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is a story-driven open world role-playing game that is set in a visually gorgeous fantasy universe full of meaningful choices and impactful consequences. In the game, gamers will take on the role of the professional monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia, and is tasked with searching for a child of prophecy in a large open world filled with merchant cities, viking pirate islands, dangerous mountain passes, and abandoned caverns to explore.
Witchers are trained at young age and mutated to gain superhuman skills, strength and reflexes as they are a distrusted counterbalance to the monster-infested world in which they live. Professional monster hunters are equipped with a range of upgradable weapons, mutating potions and combat magic in order to kill their enemies dreadfully.
Players are allowed to invest their rewards to further upgrade weaponry, buy custom armour, or to spend them away in horse races, card games, fist fighting, and other pleasures the night offers.
New standards that will be included in “The Witcher” are size, depth and complexity which leads to the endless adventure of the game. With freedom of imagination, players are able to explore forgotten destruction, caverns and shipwreck and also, trade with merchants and dwarven smiths in cities as well as seekout grasslands, mountains and seas.
Players will also need to deal with disloyal generals, tricky witches and corrupt royalty to grant fatal and dangerous services. The game also will lead players to make choices that go beyond good & evil whilst preparing to accept any comprehensive consequences.
As mentioned above, tracking down the child of prophecy is the essential contract of the game as it is a key to save or destroy the world. During times of war, players are to chase down the child of prophecy, a living weapon of power, as foreseen by ancient elven legends.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is based on the critically-acclaimed novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. This game will be available for on May 19th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
