Working for Fall Out Boy sure seems like fun!
American rockers Fall Out Boy have dropped the music video for their latest single “Uma Thurman” and it’s a ball of fun! Directed by Scantron Films and Mel Soria, the video provides a glimpse into what being the band’s assistant for the day would be like.
The video follows contest-winner Sarah as she immerses into Fall Out Boy’s world which includes her playing a wicked game of paintball with Pete, going for karaoke rehearsals with Patrick, taking Joe’s zebra for a trot and breaking a swear doing CrossFit with Andy.
Sarah is also seen riding a mechanical bull with Pete before she carries out one final mission – to send an important message from the band to the Alabama Supreme Court and all those who would stand in the way of equal rights. The message was sent via Sarah destroying a pickup truck that has “Article 1 Section 36.03″ on it hinting at the Alabama’s Supreme Court’s ruling that prohibited lower-court judges in the state from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
The video for “Uma Thurman” also includes special appearances from Big Sean, Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, Action Bronson, Big Data and DCD2 artiste, MAX. “Uma Thurman” makes for the band’s latest single from their album “American Beauty/American Psycho,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its release on January 20th, 2015.
