When Pink and her husband Carey Hart attended the John Wayne 2015 Odyssey Ball charity event in Los Angeles, they certainly did not expect her dress to take over the limelight.
The singer attended the event in support of her friend, Dr Maggie DiNome, who was accoladed with the Duke Award for her contribution towards the eradication of cancer. She was dressed in a black flowing dress that had a plunging neckline.
However, some haters who couldn’t stand how fabulous Pink looked in her dress went online to spread mean tweets about her. The nasty comments mostly revolved around her so-called weight gain.
Not one to sit down and let the bullies have their way, Pink left a message on Twitter for them.
I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight. You’re referring to the pictures of me from last night’s cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that that dress didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful. So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about me. I’m not worried about me. And I’m not worried about you either:)… I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake.
Pink then posted a photo of Hart and her with the accompanying tweet: “And my hubby says “it’s just more to love baby” (and then I smack his hand off my booty cause we’re in a supermarket).”

From there, Pink continued to share some supportive messages from fans along with a photo of her daughter and her.
She said, “Willow said to me the other day whilst grabbing my belly-“mama-why r u so squishy?”And I said..”b/cuz I’m happy baby.”

All photos she posted showed her rocking the black dress. The pride and happiness was apparent on her face. This goes to show that she feels beautiful, confident, and comfortable wearing anything, and no amount of hate comments can bring her down.
It is sad that people chose to pay attention to such an insignificant detail when they could have concentrate on the cause that Pink is promoting.
So, what are your thoughts on this?
