We know what you’re thinking, but Marvel did not show you the whole movie through its trailers and extended TV spots for “Avengers: Age of Ultron“. It’s true that they’ve featured tonnes of new footage in the new TV spots, but most of them are recycled from all the trailers they’ve released on YouTube so far.
In fact, the extended TV spot could be the final trailer you’ll ever see this month.
In contrast to the previous trailers and TV spots, the extended TV spot focused more on Scarlet Johansson’s Black Widow. Although the first minute of the trailer recycled the footage from the previous trailer, the last 30 seconds showed Black Widow teaming up with Chris Evans’ Captain America to defeat James Spader’s Ultron.
Black Widow may not be getting her own solo film (yet), but she is one of the most popular characters among her team members in Avengers.
In the 2nd “Avengers” film, she will be fighting against Ultron and its minions alongside Captain America, Robert Downey Jr.’s s Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, and Mark Ruffalo’s The Hulk.
The official synopsis of the film is as follows:
Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is scheduled for worldwide release on 1st May 2015.
It will be released in Malaysia on 23rd April 2015.
