Primadonnas (as F.T. ISLAND‘s fans are lovingly called), the song you’ve been waiting for is finally here.
F.T. ISLAND finally made their triumphant return to the music scene with their 5th studio album, “I Will”.
Prior to their comeback, the 5-member boy band pre-released an emotional music video for “To The Light” on 17th March. It is the title of their 14th Japanese single, which won first place on various music charts in Japan and China. But now, they have created a Korean version of the song and the music video showed the moments that they have shared with their international fans during their Latin America tour.
On 23rd March, the band made their comeback and released the music video for their album’s title track, “Pray”. This marks the band’s 1st Korean comeback since the release of their 5th mini album “The Mood” on 18th November 2013. Seunghyun previously teased his fans with a snippet of the group’s new song through a short video on Instagram.
“Pray” is a song composed by Jonghun and written by Hongki, Jaejin, and Seunghyun. As compared to their previous hit singles, the title track is a step outside the band’s typical pop-rock tracks. It is heavier and darker than some of their previous work, especially with the maddening, heavy riffs in the beginning of “Pray”.
