We’ve got a “superhero” in SMTOWN.
SM Entertainment artistes were recently in Taiwan for their 4th joint concert tour, “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV”. The full-fledged concert was held on 21st March at Hsinchu County Stadium and the SM artistes who were present at the concert were Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Zhang Liyin, Tasty, Red Velvet, and SMROOKIES.
The artistes successfully wrapped up the concert, but SHINee’s Taemin and EXO’s D.O. narrowly escaped injury during a joint collaboration stage.
The 2 were performing the song “You Needed Me” with TVXQ’s Changmin on a moving stage. However, due to a stage malfunction, a large prop dropped from the ceiling and nearly hit both D.O. and Taemin. Fortunately, Changmin was able to prevent their injuries as he gently pulled D.O. away from the prop and pushed Taemin out of the way. He then went back to his position and continued to perform with them.
According to Koreaboo, various members of SNDD Girls’ Generation nearly fell from an elevated moving platform during the rehearsals. Hyoyeon, Seohyun, and Tiffany were standing aboard the platform to rehearse for their hit single “Kissing You”. However, the platform accelerated into a floor tarp and lurched to a sudden stop, causing the girls the stumble and Seohyun to fall over.
Luckily, they were able to grab hold of themselves and prevented themselves from sustaining potential injuries.
