Electronic music meets R&B once again!
The worlds of electronic music and R&B continues to blend with collaborations that no one thought were possible of happening just months ago. From Deorro teaming up with Chris Brown to Jack Ü‘s collaboration with Justin Bieber, wunderkind Martin Garrix has borrowed Usher’s vocals for his latest track, “Don’t Look Down”.
Both Garrix and Usher have been teasing this collaboration for the past couple of weeks on their respective social media accounts and boy, that just drove the internet into a frenzy. No stranger to the dance music world, Usher has previously collaborated with Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta.
The latest single from Garrix and Usher was recently released and it follows the same aesthetic Garrix established with his previous work, “Forbidden Voices”. “Don’t Look Me Down” features a guitar driven intro, Usher’s high vocals and light-sultry sounding synths.
