March is finally here and this could only mean one thing: EXO’s comeback.
We’ve been talking about it for months, especially after the group surprised us with their comeback announcement during their performance at 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). At that time, no details about the comeback were announced.
The group was previously rumoured to make a comeback on 25th Oct but the plan eventually fell apart due to Luhan‘s lawsuit against the company. Korean media outlet Sports Donga later exclusively reported that the group will make their comeback in January, but it didn’t happen. However, during an interview with CCTV‘s Spring Festival, EXO’s Lay finally confirmed that the group is set to make their comeback this month. It would mark EXO’s first comeback in 11 months after the release of their 2nd mini album “Overdose”.
EXO has released a new teaser image for their 2nd solo concert, “EXO Planet #2 – The EXO’luXion“.
All 10 members dressed up in sleek black suits for the teaser image, but only EXO-K’s members stared back at the camera while EXO-M’s member gazed off into the distance. According to Soompi, fans are speculating that the setup was a result of last year’s members’ departure. Fans further speculated that the 2 full moons featured in the teaser image could be a reference to EXO’s “Two Moons”.
The group is expected to perform several new songs from their upcoming album and one of which includes “El Dorado”, the song featured in EXO’s Chanyeol’s pre-debut teaser video. In fact, it may or may not include a rumoured title track named “Call Me Daddy”.
Fans are speculating that EXO is set to make a comeback with “Call Me Daddy”. The speculation came online after fans spotted that the group is included in the list of credits in the resume of MSA Agency’s creative directors and choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo. This sparked a great deal of interest because Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Super Junior, Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, and TVXQ were among the big names included into the list.
While it’s not verified, EXO-Ls found the demo track for “Call Me Daddy” on producer Danja’s SoundCloud. The song was sung by Claude Kelly, a renowned singer-songwriter who has written various hit singles for Leona Lewis, Whitney Houston, Fantasia Barrino, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jessie J, and Wonder Girls.

As it was released 2 years ago, most fans are claiming that it is highly impossible for EXO to use the demo track.
“EXO Planet #2 – The EXO’luXion” is set to take place at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena in Seoul on 7th – 8th March and 13th – 15th March.
