Oh, shibby!
To be honest, between now and 1st March isn’t actually a long time to wait but it looks like xda-developers forumers can’t wait to share this next juicy bit of news. In case you didn’t hear, in a couple of days, Samsung will announce the GALAXY S6 at its “Unpacked 2015″ event at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona.
The team from our big brother site, Lowyat.net, will be one of the first few people in the world to see it in real life.
While everyone’s kept on the edge of their seats awaiting the big event, some photos of the supposed Samsung GALAXY S6 have been leaked onto the interwebs, thanks to the xda-developers forum. The photos allowed Samsung fans and non-fans to have a first glimpse at the smartphone, but it doesn’t look like the one Samsung has been teasing in its ads.
Here, for comparison:
On top of that, this has spurred some strong arguments from non-fans, claiming that it looks very “Apple”.
That having said, since the phone doesn’t have a display that bleeds over the edge like the one Samsung teased in the above ad, maybe this was just an early prototype. Or Samsung could be releasing 2 different variations of its flagship device. We don’t know, but we’ll find out soon come 1st March.
Don’t forget to stay tuned to our big brother site for more coverage from MWC 2015.
