CUBE Entertainment has many subtle ways of surprising their loyal fans and keeping their followers in check. Home to idol groups like B2ST and 4Minute, the agency announced in December last year that K-Pop lovers will have more to look forward to in 2015 – and they weren’t just saying it. For starters, 4Minute recently made their comeback, a move that looked and sounded promising because they promoted it as a “revamp”, so to say. The release of “Cold Rain” certainly set the mood for more amazing things to come from the girls.

But that’s not all!

Cashing in on what is said to be an upcoming big year for K-Pop, CUBE Entertainment is also set to finally debut a multinational girl group soon. The company also revealed the first member of the group, Sorn.

Sorn was a winner of “tvN K-Pop Star Hunt S2”  and we even managed to snag an exclusive interview with her 2 years ago, prior to her idol training. At that time, Sorn (real name: Chonnasorn Sajakul ชลนสร สัจจกุล) was only 16 years old but her dream to become a superstar came true after being crowned winner of the reality talent show. As a winner, she was automatically signed to become a trainee under CUBE Entertainment.

It has been a long time since we last saw her and we’re pretty sure that people who followed her journey from the “tvN K-Pop Star Hunt” show have been left wondering if she even made it that far, or if she had to battle differences and come face-to-face with struggles during her training because she was a foreign idol-to-be of Thai roots.

Well, wonder no more, because in a rare “Arirang Special” video, Sorn’s training sessions have been revealed.

As you would expect, in many ways, Sorn has to work twice as hard as compared to her CLC members because Korean isn’t her first language. The video shows how she gets through her daily training sessions comprising of singing classes, dancing classes, and language classes (just to name a few), with great emphasis on her perfecting her command in the Korean language. It also gives us insight on CUBE Entertainment’s training programme, with quotes from the agency’s Director of New Talent Training, Mr. Kim Hyung-Kyu.

CLC is slated to debut in the first half of 2015. Meet the rest of the multinational idol girl group here.
