About a week ago, it was reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late Whitney Houston, was fighting for her life after she was pulled unconscious from a bathtub over that weekend. Her longtime love Nick Gordon and a friend found her non-responsive in the bathtub of her home, in an incident with eerie echoes of her mother’s drowning in a Los Angeles tub in 2012. A Roswell police spokeswoman said at that time, “unresponsive, meaning not breathing, no heartbeat.”
Ever since then, Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma in the hospital.
And now, news of her progress have just surfaced, indicating that things aren’t looking good for her. Bobbi’s grandmother Cissy Houston floated the idea of a 11th Feb death during discussions with the Brown family at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. The Browns and the Houstons are reportedly considering finally letting go of Bobbi Kristina Brown on 11th Feb (Wednesday) which marks the third death anniversary of Whitney Houston.
This is because while the two families have been arguing since Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital, they have finally accepted the fact that the doctors cannot save her.
According to Page Six, a Brown family source said:
This is the only thing they can agree on — that she’s gone (brain dead), and there’s nothing more than can be done for her.
As such, the Browns gave their blessing to pull the plug at the stroke of midnight to align the date with the 2012 passing of Whitney Houston at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Note: On 11th Feb 2012, just hours before a star-studded party on the eve of the music industry’s annual Grammy awards show, the news Whitney Houston’s tragic passing shook the world. The coroner’s office reported that the cause of her death was drowning and the “effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use”.
The move to pull the plug on Bobbi Kristina’s life support on the same date is a symbolic way to keep the mother and daughter together for eternity, according to a Brown family source.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the drowning of Bobbi Kristina Brown. A family source told PEOPLE that foul play is being investigated including drug use and possibly cover up to remove evidence from the crime scene.
Meanwhile, family and loved ones gathered on 9th Feb (Monday) night outside Atlanta to hold a candlelight vigil for her. Close to 300 people came out to support Bobbi, with attendees holding candles and flashing their cell phone lights.
