TS Entertainment, the agency that recently found itself embroiled in a lawsuit drama with one of its K-Pop idol groups, B.A.P, has debuted a new K-Pop idol girl group, “SONAMOO”. In case you didn’t know, SONAMOO means “pine tree” in Korean and it symbolises the meaning of “creating music so full of life like a pine tree” and to send “the rightful message through music”.
The 7-member group (Su Min, Min Jae, D.ana, Na Hyun, Eui Jin, High.D, New Sun) is also known as Secret’s “sister group”. The members’ images and details were released in batches, teasing fans and leaving them breathless with anticipation.
And now, after all that suspense,TS Entertainment has finally released SONAMOO’s very first music video in conjunction with the girls’ debut. Released via the agency’s YouTube channel on 28th Dec, SONAMOO’s debut track is titled “Deja Vu” and not “Green Moon”, as previously assumed. The music video features a very industrial, warehouse-feel with the girls embracing a distinct “hip hop” concept, judging from their dance choreography (boy, can they dance!) and their choice of bold clothes.
Oh, yes, “Deja Vu” is pretty catchy too, might we add. But we’ll leave that up to you to decide.

It has also been confirmed that “Deja Vu” will also be the title of their first mini album! Are you going to rush out to get it when it’s released? Did SONAMOO’s debut surprise you or disappoint you? Share your thoughts in the comments box below!
