If you can’t get enough of the official “Jurassic World” trailer that was released back in November 2014, then here’s some good news for you.
Super Bowl XLIX is fast approaching and ABC News just reported that a new trailer for “Jurassic World” is set to arrive this February during the movie commercials of the game.
So far, “Jurassic World” is the only movie to confirm a new trailer debut during the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL). Many other summer summer blockbustres such as “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” or “Ant-Man” are expected to air some new footage as well but none of the major movie studios have announced or confirmed the release of the commercials.
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the sci-fi terror adventure film is executive produced by Steven Spielberg and produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley. Trevorrow directed the film based on a script written by Derek Connolly and himself. It is the latest instalment of the groundbreaking “Jurassic Park” film series.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” star Chris Pratt joined the cast of the film to play Owen, a rugged ex-military dude while “As You Like It” star Bryce Dallas Howard will play Claire, a scientist who creates the genetically modified dinosaurs.
The film is set to take place 22 years after the events of “Jurassic Park” at Isla Nublar. The remote island now features a full-fledged dinosaur theme park, which was originally envisioned by John Hammond, a character played by the late actor Richard Attenborough. It has been revealed that the film will focus on a new attraction in the park that gravely backfires despite its effort to re-spark visitor interest.
“Jurassic World” joins other companies such as Carnival Cruises and Skittles to air their first ever Super Bowl ads. The ads will be shown on 1st Feb 2015 via NBC.
Distributed by Universal Pictures, “Jurassic World” is slated for release on 12th June 2015. The film also stars Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, and Judy Greer.
