Not only did she recently break the Internet with a nude photoshoot for a magazine cover, it has now been proven that Kim Kardashian broke Instagram (or rather, an Instagram record) this year as she just claimed the most-liked picture of 2014. Yes, out of 200 million active monthly users who post an average of 60 million photos a day. Except that she didn’t have to be naked for this one.

According to Instagram, a tasteful image of Kim K and Kanye West exchanging a wedding kiss was the most-liked Instagram of 2014. Posted in May when the couple tied the knot in Italy, the photo – with the California reality TV star in a classy Givenchy gown – drew 2.4 million likes:

That was well above the combined 1.49 million likes she got after she posted 2 of her infamous bare-buttocked “break the Internet” cover photos from Paper magazine last month. But capturing the top spot on Instagram isn’t as easy as you might think because Kanye West recently revealed that the couple spent 4 days editing the photo before it was posted to Instagram.

“Because the flowers were off-color and stuff like that,” said Kanye.

The second most-liked Instagram post of the year was a selfie posted by Justin Bieber with on-off girlfriend Selena Gomez. No editing was needed for this one save for a choice of filter, we reckon, because it was just an atmospheric black and white selfie. But it was enough to spark rumours about their on-off-on-off-and-on-and-off again somewhat turbulent romance. It received 1.9 million in the 3 months since it was uploaded:

Another pop star, Ariana Grande, came in third, with 1.84 million likes for a photo of her planting a kiss on songstress Miley Cyrus’s left cheek backstage at August’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Bieber, Kardashian, Grande, and Gomez are among the top 5 most-followed Instagram users.

In other news, Disneyland in southern California, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, and New York’s Times Square were the most geotagged Instagram locations – followed by the Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok and Gorky Park in Moscow. The sixth most geotagged location, the Louvre in Paris, was also the world’s most geotagged museum.
