The movie has wrapped (filming), the after-party has been thrown, and now, the highly anticipated “Star Wars: Episode VII” finally has a subtitle. Disney quietly made the announcement on Twitter this morning so if you missed it, fret not! That’s why we’re here 
We must say though that the approach is perhaps a little strange considering the fact that this is the “Star Wars” movie that everyone has been waiting for. From what little we know and from what we gather, the subtitle still retains the classic “Star Wars” feel. But it doesn’t give away the film’s storyline/plot too much.

Despite the tear-hair-from-scalp suspense felt by “Star Wars” fans and the sarcastic response (#rejectedstarwarstitles) the reveal garnered from people on the interwebs i.e. “I didn’t realise the force was asleep?”, it’s good to keep in mind that “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” (we can officially call it that now!) director J.J. Abrams did previously make clear that the film is meant to feel like an extension of the original trilogy.
After all, he did bring back much of the original cast.

“Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” is directed by J.J. Abrams and written by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan. The previous film in what was a 6-movie series, “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith”, was released in 2005.
Whether or not this film is going to sink or fly, we’ll only find out when it’s eventually released in cinemas. And there’s a little over a year to go before you can finally watch the movie. Patience is a virtue!
