#SuJu: Shindong’s Military Enlistment Set For 25th Nov

K-Pop boy band Super Junior’s management agency S.M. Entertainment on Wednesday (5th Nov) announced on Facebook that group member Shindong will enlist on Nov 25 to serve his compulsory stint in the Korean military.

Shindong will reportedly undergo 5 weeks of military training before being posted to his unit in Gyeonggi-do and serving 21 months in the military. The 29-year-old singer-host will be absent from Super Junior’s Hong Kong concert on Saturday (8th Nov), as he will be busy preparing for his enlistment.

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk returned to the band a few months ago, after he completed his stint in the military. Fellow member Yesung, on the other hand, is still undergoing military training.

The boy band had previously said its members will stagger their enlistment times so that the band can stay active on the K-pop scene. Super Junior continues to enjoy a large following around the world, and performed its 100th concert in September.
