Southeast Asia’s first indoor Angry Birds Activity Park located in Komtar JBCC shopping mall will finaly be opened to the public on 31st Oct.
Johor Corp President and Chief Executive Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim said it was targeting a visitor-ship of 150,000 to the 26,000 sq ft-park in the first year. “We hope the activity park will become the main attraction for visitors locally and abroad, in a bid to promote Malaysia especially Johor Bahru,” he said during a media preview session.
Also present were Rovio Entertainment sales and communications director, Jonna Nummela and Damansara Asset Sdn Bhd executive director, Yusaini Sidek. Kamaruzzaman, who said that the Angry Birds Activity Park was a joint venture with the founder of the bird game Finland-based Rovio Entertainment.
The park, valued at an estimated RM17 million, offers a variety of fun-packed activities, entertainment, and attractive games for the young generation and children such as Lazer Bird Shoot, Classic Tower Play, Red Bird Goal, Piggy Shooting Gallery, Captain Black Bird Ship, and others. Tickets are priced at RM75 per entry but for MyKad or MyKid holders, the tickets are priced at RM60. A variety of tickets from a single pass, family passes to unlimited annual passes are available.

The park is located at the mall’s third floor and will be opened from 10am to 10pm daily. Children below 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
