It’s finally happening! Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will be heading for Singapore next year.
The 23-year-old, who released his second album x (read as multiply) in June, will hold his first concert at The Star Theatre on 14th March. “I can’t wait to tour this new record, it’s been a long time coming. I’m looking forward to touring in Asia for the first time!” said Sheeran in a media release from the concert’s organiser AEG Live on Tuesday (Oct 21).
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter gained prominence with his first album + back in 2011. That debut contained hit songs like “The A Team”, “You Need Me”, “I Don’t Need You”, “Lego House”, and “Give Me Love”.
No further details have been released yet and there hasn’t been any news if Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is going to be one of his tour stops. But we’ll update this post with more information as soon as we have ‘em!
