Following the release of their new music video “Born Hater“, Epik High has released yet another music video for their follow-up track, “Spoiler”, featuring a member of YG Entertainment’s upcoming girl group.
Born in 1995, YG trainee Kim Ji Soo, who is a confirmed member for YG’s new girl group, became the female lead for Epik High’s “Spoiler” music video that was released on 21st October. Epik High’s 8th full-length album was released at the same time as the music video for “Spoiler”.
According to YG’s official blog, an insider revealed that this is her first time standing in front of music fans in a music video. She was trained under the same talent agency as some of the greatest K-Pop groups such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, and so on. Although there’s no footage of her dancing yet, she is particular known for her dancing skills and her pure appeal after her photo appeared on YG’s blog.
This isn’t the first time a member of YG’s new girl group has appeared in an music video as the rumoured leader of the group, Kim Jennie played the female lead in BIGBANG’s G-Dragon’s music video for “That XX“. Other than that, it was rumoured that some members also made their cameo appearance in other YG artistes’ music videos.
As of now, it was only reported that YG’s new girl group will make their official debut in November this year, years a5fter 2NE1. Watch Epik High’s new music video for “Spoiler” below:
