If you’ve ever been to Bali, Indonesia, you would’ve come across a “warung” located on the Ubud outskirts, on Jalan Raya Sanggingan and within easy walking distance across from the Neka Museum. What’s a “warung” you ask? By definition, a warung is a street side food stall.
But Naughty Nuri’s is not just any random street side food stall. When you look past its wooden shack, Naughty Nuri’s is a staple for both locals and tourists because of their premium juice and tasty grilled pork ribs.
That one legendary dish of theirs is usually washed down with a lychee martini or an ice cold beer. International celebrities such as Donna Karan and Robert De Niro have been spotted at Naughty Nuri’s on vacation.
Of course, aside from their pork ribs, they also serve up hot dogs, burgers, fresh tuna sashimis, and a range of Indonesian cuisine throughout the week. In short, Naughty Nuri’s is a place where you’re sure to find good Indonesian food!
And now, it seems that Naughty Nuri’s is taking a step forward to venture into new territory! Yes, a little birdie told us that the restaurant will be opening a branch right here in Kuala Lumpur.
According to their Facebook page, their first outlet will open in Desa Sri Hartamas tentatively on 1st December. They confirmed it themselves here:
But it doesn’t stop there! Naughty Nuri’s also teased that they will have a “new home” soon after, presumably a second branch, located at Kuala Lumpur city’s new entertainment and F&B hub, TREC.
Note: TREC is also soon-to-be the new home to Zouk Club Kuala Lumpur
So, you guys excited or what? Let’s see if the Naughty Nuri’s in Kuala Lumpur will match up to that of the one in Bali! We can’t wait to find out.
