Guess what, Hello Kitty fans?
For a limited 9 flights only, the EVA Air Hello Kitty plane will be flying between Singapore and Taipei in December 2014. Oh, yes! But first, a brief introduction to EVA Air’s Sanrio-themed jet planes.
In 2005, EVA Air and Sanrio worked together to launch the first generation of Hello Kitty jets. Conceived by EVA Air’s chairman to make flying fun, EVA’s Hello Kitty Jets have proven to be popular among travellers worldwide. So much so that the second generation of EVA Hello Kitty Jets came in 2011 and today, there are 6 variants of unique and specially painted Hello Kitty Jets including the:
- Hello Kitty Magic Jet
- Hello Kitty Apple Jet
- Hello Kitty Global Jet
- Hello Kitty Happy Music Jet
- Hello Kitty Speed Puff Jet
- Hello Kitty Hand-in-Hand Jet
EVA Air is the only airline in the world to have this series of Sanrio-approved Hello Kitty flights which (for now) only caters to flights from Taipei to Los Angeles, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sapporo, Fukuoka, and Guam:
But, the good news is, the planes will soon land in Singapore!
EVA Air’s Hello Kitty flights between Singapore and Taipei are operated on the Airbus A330-200 aircraft featuring 24 Premium Laurel seats (2-2-2 configuration and non flat bed seats) and 228 Economy seats! What’s that? You want to be a part of this chance-of-a-lifetime experience?
