It’s that time of the year again: DJ Mag announces the start of its Top 100 DJs voting!
Will Hardwell stay at number #1? Will someone else take over? Who is going to rise up in 2014? So many questions, so much feels! DJ Mag’s yearly round-up of the world’s popular selectors always promises a storm of promotion, debate and everyone’s favourite — the occasional controversy!
26-year-old Dutch DJ Hardwell swiftly overtook Armin van Buuren to take the top spot in 2013 but will he be able to retain his position this year? The mainstage regular shot to fame and quickly rose through the ranks in 2012, when he jumped 18 spots to the #6 position. A Dutch theme was noticeable in the top 10 of 2013 as Hardwell’s compatriots Tiësto, Dash Berlin, Nicky Romero and Afrojack all made the cut.
Ever since his rise to #1 last October, Hardwell has been on an ongoing victory lap. He has successfully taken his “I Am Hardwell” area tour around the world, got his hands on an elite residency at electrifying Ibiza beach club Ushuaïa as well as scored prime festival slots including the grand finale on the Ultra Music Festival main stage.
The 2014 Top 100 DJs polls voting started on July 12th (Saturday) with an exclusive kick-off party in Amsterdam and the results will be announced in October. The 2014 champion is set to play a special concert in London so who will take the top spot this year? Below are last year’s results for you to run by.

Who do you think deserve to be #1 in the coming year? More importantly, do you think Tenashar (the first Singaporean to ever claim a spot DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs) will be in the league again?
