Muggles and magic lover alike! Soon, you’ll be able to visit Diagon Alley for real. Because somewhere in the world, there’s a Harry Potter-themed area with comes complete with iconic locations like Ollivander’s wand shop and The Leaky Cauldron.
Yes! With 7 shops on Diagon Alley, you can indulge in as many frothing mugs of Butterbeer and splurge on plushies modelled after the Harry Potter film franchise’s more recognisable creatures. They even have their own Diagon Alley currency – how neat is that?
And what about wands, you ask? Well, you’ll love the fact that you can purchase “interactive wands” and use them to cast spells in the theme park.
Here’s the thing though, it’s situated in Universal Orlando and it’ll only be open on 8th July. But hey, if you’re ever going to that side of the world, perhaps you could make the new “Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley” your must-see/must-visit venue. The park has one ride, a 3D thriller called, “Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts”.

There’s an undeniably rich level of detail in the park including a fire-breathing dragon, animatronic fantasy animals straight out of J.K. Rowling’s book series, and the “Monster Book of Monsters” (a tome with teeth). Backdrops include musty-looking books, creepy eels, and stone-and-brick facades.
Are you booking the next flight out to the US yet? Because we sure as heck want to.
