Popular Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, musician, multi-instrumentalist and philanthropist; A.R. Rahman is set to perform in Kuala Lumpur this April 26 at Stadium Merdeka.
Dubbed “Infinite Love,” the concert is organised by DML Live. According to it’s Facebook page, tickets will be on sale starting this February, with prices to follow soon.
This will be the third time the double Oscar-winning composer has been to our shores. Back in ’96, Rahman performed the magical “Festival Night” to a crowd of 40,000. In 2003, He returned to Malaysia together with powerhouse Indian vocalists like Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan and South Indian maestro S.P. Bala.
Rahman’s musical works are famous for his amazing method of integrating Indian classical music with pop, modern electronica, World and Western classical music, thus awarding Rahman with the most prominent and prolific film composer by Time Magazine.
The Infinite Love concert will also be performed in Singapore on April 30, a day after Rahman’s KL engagement.
